   The worse Mothers Day brunch. Charged me $50 tax on $250. Should have been $32.50 and $60. gratuity. We had to get our own coffee, water, drinks, food, napkins and cutlery. Needed to ask several times for more plates and cutlery and there were no more napkins. They stated putting tables and chairs away which made a lot of noise before we were done. She did reimburse us the tax and gratuity. Btw we paid first before going in. Food was ok but I think it was sitting around for too long. Very little desserts. But the fresh fruit was nice.

   We arrived for our lunch at 1:30pm. We were brought to a window table, which had a nice view. Before we ate the staff brought over the machine for us to pay for the three meals. We sat down and noticed the tablecloth was dirty. We asked one of the staff to clean it, which they did. The buffet was over priced and the offerings Were limited, and the food was tasteless. When we went to have coffee there was no coffee and no cups. I asked one of the staff for mugs and coffee, which was taken care of quickly. There was no cream for the coffee, just one little 2% milk pod that was warm. At no time did any of the staff and/or manager stop at our table to how were meals. To add insult to injury I see we were charged over $200 for three diners. I should have kept a copy of the receipt, which I’m sure included gratuities, but I’ll never know. Overall, for a Mothers Day brunch or lunch, it is one of the worst dining experiences we ever had

   I have taken my family for Mother’s Day brunch today and the experience was very disappointing. The table setting was bare. Just a white tablecloth and two solitary tulips… Not even someone to offer water or coffee. The water jars, by the way, were dirty at the bottom (all three) and the coffee was burnt. And then there was the buffet… I do not remember a place I have been to where all the “basics” were so badly cooked: the eggs were dry and tasteless. The sausages were overdone. The pancakes were flowery, tasteless and saggy. The water-down maple syrup was simply impossible to eat. The bacon was passable. The potatoes too. And then there was the bread. All choices seemed to have seen better days and were definitely not fresh. In summary, a place to forget. Do not go there for the restaurant. You will be disappointed.

    Good value, but don't go if there's a golf game, the players end in the bar (beside the dining area) and it gets very noisy. Otherwise, food good, service could have been a bit more attentive, but otherwise, I would recommend.

    This is a lovely vineyard that has exceptional staff. The food selection is surprisingly diverse, well proportioned and tasty. There wine selection is also very good! I removed a star only bc they are only open til 8pm which sucks on a Friday night

    Highly recommend coming for a meal. Food came out hot/steaming, were generous portions and seasoned beautifully. We enjoyed the fish and chips and the bacon wrapped chicken supreme with fingerling potatoes.

    Four of us had a lovely lunch overlooking the golf course. Good food and a very pretty view. Two of us had fish and chips, which was excellent. One had steak and mushroom pie with salad, again excellent and the fourth member of our party had the St. Patrick’s day special, which was short ribs. Again, excellent. Evidenced by the fact all of our plates were clean. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely return. We felt it was very good value.

    Visited for lunch in late March. We had a lovely experience at Rockway. Beautiful view of the golf course. Quiet march Sunday afternoon. Not too busy. Tried the rose and charcuterie board and both were enjoyable.

    I left three phone messages trying to figure out how to book on the internet, because I think there is an old website and I got mixed up, not following their directions about the new website. Me not listening to what their message said. But no one ever called me back. I finally managed to book using the correct website. // It was a fun experience for us, being out after two years of not dining inside anywhere. The staff was friendly which we always appreciate!     They were out of the wine I wanted, then they were out of the appetizer I wanted. Very few vegetarian options so I chose the only one available for my main and threw out 90% of the dinner. I would not go back.

    There were a couple of disappointments. Firstly, I booked a table for two a few weeks in advance, and the rez was confirmed the day before. However, when we got there the whole dining room was shut down for a wedding! My friend and I sat on the patio, but it took about 40 minutes for someone to come out to serve us. Very few vegetarian things on the menu. We shared a plate of nachos, but the cheese topping was processed, like cheese whiz! Don’t plan to be back. The people were friendly however.

    I met a girl friend there on the patio for dinner. The view was great etc. Service was just ok (she may have been new). We ordered drinks to start which were pretty quick to come to the table. We ordered an appetizer, salad and entrees. Things seemed to be taking a while and no sign of our server to check in on us. She appears with our entrees!? Then comes out with the appetizer and salad. We kindly asked her to take back our entrees as we were nowhere near ready for them. That really is my only complaint. Otherwise the food was good. Good prices too.

    We had midweek reservations, but not really needed. Beautiful view of the golf course from the dining room. Our server was relatively prompt. It was our first time there and we weren’t quite certain where the dining room was and not greeted. Kinda expected more a fine dining atmosphere. But we had a beautiful lunch at a lovely place.     With so many golf courses not opening their restaurants, we were very happy that Rockway was indeed open. Not only did we enjoy 18 holes with our friends on their well-maintained course, we were able to do a wine tasting followed by a delicious dinner. Between us, we purchased 6 bottles of wine. The dining room was set up nicely and with their extra large windows, we had a lovely view of the course. The food was very good along with the attentive service. Our guests had the lamb, a special that day, and quite enjoyed it. We will definitely return in the future.
