   Four of us had a lovely lunch overlooking the golf course. Good food and a very pretty view. Two of us had fish and chips, which was excellent. One had steak and mushroom pie with salad, again excellent and the fourth member of our party had the St. Patrick’s day special, which was short ribs. Again, excellent. Evidenced by the fact all of our plates were clean. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely return. We felt it was very good value.

   Visited for lunch in late March. We had a lovely experience at Rockway. Beautiful view of the golf course. Quiet march Sunday afternoon. Not too busy. Tried the rose and charcuterie board and both were enjoyable.

   I left three phone messages trying to figure out how to book on the internet, because I think there is an old website and I got mixed up, not following their directions about the new website. Me not listening to what their message said. But no one ever called me back. I finally managed to book using the correct website. // It was a fun experience for us, being out after two years of not dining inside anywhere. The staff was friendly which we always appreciate! The food/chefs were great!

   They were out of the wine I wanted, then they were out of the appetizer I wanted. Very few vegetarian options so I chose the only one available for my main and threw out 90% of the dinner. I would not go back.

    It was the best high tea we have ever attended. The food, presentation and ambience was outstanding. Our waitress was great and everything was beyond what we expected. We will definitely be returning. It was truly a wonderful afternoon. Thank you!!

    There were a couple of disappointments. Firstly, I booked a table for two a few weeks in advance, and the rez was confirmed the day before. However, when we got there the whole dining room was shut down for a wedding! My friend and I sat on the patio, but it took about 40 minutes for someone to come out to serve us. Very few vegetarian things on the menu. We shared a plate of nachos, but the cheese topping was processed, like cheese whiz! Don’t plan to be back. The people were friendly however.

    I met a girl friend there on the patio for dinner. The view was great etc. Service was just ok (she may have been new). We ordered drinks to start which were pretty quick to come to the table. We ordered an appetizer, salad and entrees. Things seemed to be taking a while and no sign of our server to check in on us. She appears with our entrees!? Then comes out with the appetizer and salad. We kindly asked her to take back our entrees as we were nowhere near ready for them. That really is my only complaint. Otherwise the food was good. Good prices too.

    We had midweek reservations, but not really needed. Beautiful view of the golf course from the dining room. Our server was relatively prompt. It was our first time there and we weren’t quite certain where the dining room was and not greeted. Kinda expected more a fine dining atmosphere. But we had a beautiful lunch at a lovely place. We are so Blessed.

    With so many golf courses not opening their restaurants, we were very happy that Rockway was indeed open. Not only did we enjoy 18 holes with our friends on their well-maintained course, we were able to do a wine tasting followed by a delicious dinner. Between us, we purchased 6 bottles of wine. The dining room was set up nicely and with their extra large windows, we had a lovely view of the course. The food was very good along with the attentive service. Our guests had the lamb, a special that day, and quite enjoyed it. We will definitely return in the future.

    We thought we were eating at a winery, but it is actually a golf course. The food tasted good. It just took forever to arrive. And we were the only people in the dining room! If you’re looking for a winery, don’t go to Rockway.

    We had a reservation for 1pm and arrived at 12:45pm. We sat on the patio and was not approached for 15 minutes. The waitress then asked if we wanted menus and didn't come back for 5 minutes and gave us a blank one. We were told they were short of menus, that it was very busy. We then chose to sit inside and were ignored for another 15 minutes. The waitress brought us water and didn't even ask us if we wanted a drink. At 1:20 we got up and left and went to another Winery for lunch. We have never been treated so poorly.

    We went for a late lunch on a Sunday for our first visit. The food was really good and great value. Starter was tempura shrimp on a bed of very delicious ‘slaw’ with pesto. The only disappointment was the warm bottle of white wine that arrived at out table. This is why I rated a 3 for overall. When I mentioned this to the wait staff, she brought an ice bucket to the table.

    The cole slaw was delicious but difficult to eat. Like eating spaghetti, too long and thick slices, hard to cut smaller. All else was good.

    The experience started well as soon as we drove down the winery. Everything is well kept and looking beautiful. We had a seat next to a window so we could admire the lovely golf course. The food was delicious and loved the presentation of the dishes for some appetizers and pasta dish. Very professional. Prices are more than reasonable. Overall, it was a lovely night. Thank you so very much.

    Food and service was great. We were looking forward to lunch on the patio. Unfortunately, two selfish individuals decided to smoke cigars while sitting in the Muskoka chairs just off the patio. We had to move inside to escape the smell. A sign clearly states that people should go to the parking lot to smoke. If this isn’t changed we will not return.
