SUPER F-ING DELICIOUS!!! Troy, Phil, Steve, Nate and the whole staff were warm, welcoming, funny and so gracious. The food is unreal - it woke up taste buds I didn’t know I had. We came for my mum’s 75th birthday and it will be a memory we will look back on fondly for years to come. A hidden gem in Stratford. Thank you again!

Stopped for lunch before an afternoon play and had a fantastic lunch. The food was creative and tasty, the atmosphere was cozy and fitting and the service spectacular. The owner ran front of house and seated us, was our bartender and server. The man runs a fantastic establish. Can’t gush enough.

Had an amazing experience for lunch before the theatre. They respected our time to be out of there in plenty of time for show. Food was outstanding chef delivered to the table. He explained with passion about the food, we were about to eat. Our server/host was extremely personable and knowledgable when it came to drink /wine recommendations and questions regarding menu. What a little gem. We will return!

Lovely experience. The flat bread was delicious and the fettuccine as well. Two things. We don’t like kale Caesar salad and i was told that there was no blue cheese for the charcuterie board and later found out that they did have blue cheese.

The service was impressive but the food was more impressive. Both the blueberry and cranberry scones were an easy way to start High Tea. The tea choices complemented the mimosas and scones. The sandwiches were all unique with top ingredients and very fresh breads. To finish off the experience, all 3 desserts were mouthwatering! My favourite being the mousse. Thank you to Jack and his team for a memorable Mother’s Day!!!

I think the restaurant is a bit understaffed, but that applies to a lot of restaurants these days., hard to find good staff. But our server was great. The food was hot, beautifully presented and delicious. I’ve been there 3 times and enjoyed every experience. We highly recommend Rockwell’s.

I used to LOVE Rockwell. I have no idea what has happened but this experience was horrible. I had booked a 5:45pm reservation for my daughter and I as we were going to the theatre for an 8pm show. This was enough time for us to enjoy our meal and then leisurely head over to the show. Unfortunately our table was not ready until 6:10pm. When we were seated we were provided with drink menus but no food menus. After waiting for 20 minutes, I went to the hostess (who, by the way, just stood there staring at the door) and asked for food menus and a waiter so that we could order as we had theatre tickets. Shortly after the waiter appeared, out of breath and hurried, and said let's get your food order so that we can get you out of here on time. I proceeded to let him know that we just received our menus and I wasn't sure what to order. He tried to sit down beside me to go through the menu but I really just wanted to look at it and order a drink. He was quite put out by that and responded - I was only trying to help. To me, help would come in the form of attentive and calm service. I said that I would like to order a drink. My daughter ordered the sour and I ordered the martini. She enjoyed her drink but mine was absolutely disgusting. The waiter warned me that it would salty but I would not have minded that. The drink tasted like olive brine which is not even palatable. We would have ordered a bottle of wine but we were never offered a wine menu or asked. We ordered oysters which came out warm - bleh. I would have ordered an app but time was now tight so we ordered the fettucine. It was okay but too much truffle. We were never asked if we liked our meal, how things were going or if we wanted anything else because I would have said something. As you looked around the restaurant it was clear that others were having the same experience. I am so utterly disappointed. I had talked up Rockwell to my daughter because it was a place I loved. Now, it is a disappointment.

A pleasant first visit for us, attentive service although kitchen seemed to be backed up. Shrimp with avocado and chicken suprême were our favourite dishes. Lavender sour cocktail was lovely.

The cocktails were fantastic and the best part of the evening. It has a nice intimate ambience, and the seating was very comfortable. The waitress seemed inexperienced but trying hard. The wine list was disappointing, lacked value, and appropriate options for the food. Unfortunately the food wasn't good. The lobster was very expensive for what you get, not worth it at all for such a small amount. The fettuccine was very greasy and made me feel ill. I would only go back for an end of evening cocktail.

Great place to eat! The roasted sweet potato soup is absolutely the best and a must try. Overall a wonderful dining experience. Will definitely return next time I am visiting Stratford.

The food was delicious as always. The piano was a little loud as the restaurant was full so lots of noise. Rockwell is quickly becoming one of my favourite restaurants in Stratford. Amazing food and service. We will be back soon

The Posh Nosh was wonderfully varied and well presented. Was really glad for a take home box for the last dish before dessert. Would highly recommend the evening to all! Our sommelier was a fount of information and entertaining too.

Our food was great, in fact its the best meal I've had in Stratford since Pizza Bistro closed. The waiters were personable, ambience very warm and inviting. Since everything was made there, they could accommodate some changes to their menu items. I will certainly goback again!

Went for their date night special - an excellent deal - and the food was divine. Arugula salad, shrimp Fettuccini, steak, and mousse brownie. No rush for us to leave, we enjoyed the cozy atmosphere over dessert. Our server was friendly and knowledgable. Can't wait to go again.

Our meal was exceptional. As a person with celiac disease, eating out sometimes can be worrisome the chef provided helpful information and even prepared a delicious off menu dessert. Thank you!! Also, no tummy troubles afterward :)
