Anchored on the corner of 4th St. & 10 Ave SW in a bright and rustic room where our knowledgeable shuckers pair succulent aphrodisiacs with local beer and classic wines. Rodney's is built on a strong foundation with a singular focus - growing, sourcing, and serving some of the finest oysters from around the globe. Our classic costal menu features house made chowders, live lobster and crab, fresh mussels and scallops, shrimp, and sustainably sourced fish. Also serving locally sourced Alberta beef to vegetarian, and gluten free are readily available for the non-seafood lovers.

    Join us on October 3rd, 2024 at 6:00 pm at Rodney's Oyster House Calgary while we get hands on and crack some crab! You will be welcomed with a pint of cold Phillips Brewing & Malting Co. Implosion Pilsner before settling down to smash your way through three types of crab. Our West Coast Dungeness Crab will be boiled in a Phillips Pilsner bath, Jonah Crab will take on a Cajun spice, while the Snow Crab legs will be simply served chilled. Our salads will give you a protein break, and everything will be topped off with some Righteous Gelato. Tickets are non-refundable. Happy Crack'n!

    We went for happy hour and it did not disappoint. The oysters are always so delicious, this time we tried the calamari and it was perfectly cooked, perfectly crunchy and that dipping sauce 🤤

    I held my 40th birthday at Rodney's for 25 people and they set us up in a beautiful section of the restaurant upstairs. The service was outstanding and the food was great. They came by periodically with little treats and an amuse bouche and free desserts during the evening. My friends and family were all thrilled with the evening. They were even very patient with the few kids we had running about a little, which I really appreciated.

    Rodney's is always delivering a great experience with amazing food! We don't go often, but when we do Rodney's never disappoints us. The customer service that is provided delivers a great experience and to top it off the food is always consistently amazing. This night was my wife's birthday and again the experience was a lot of fun and amazing. They were a bit busy but did their best to accommodate us and make it a good night. They helped us with making some delicious oyster selections and then finally helped us with choosing the perfect lobsters. The food was delicious, the service was warm and personable and the ambiance was just right. Thank you for a great night out Rodney's!
