This is an amazing find in the Jackson Heights neighborhood. I found the food to be truly authentic of Italy and prepared well. Two friends with me from Italy said the food was excellent. The service and ambiance we wonderful. We were there for lunch. I will continue to go there time and again. Wonderful, wonderful, and of good value.
Love the food here been going here since they opened
Excelente comida me encanta
Excellent food. Good range of selections.
Very attractive indoors and out.
Good for celebrations. Birthday etc…
Delicious food and friendly service. The lunch menu was a little pricey but well worth the few extra dollars.
It is always good to go there.
Excellent service and wine list. Portions were quite large. Nice neighborhood "feel" in Jackson Heights. Attentive staff and was able to answer questions about food in a professional manner.
Excelente ubicación y ambiente
Lovely place, Great food, nice people. Volume of live SingerWay Way way too Loud!
I found the food I ordered wasn’t flavorful. It was kind of ordinary and bland. They didn’t want to give us the table we wanted in the main dining room even though the room was almost empty when we arrived.
Amazing service and delicious food. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable
Always a pleasure to visit Romeos restaurant love the food and the service it’s my home away from home
Everybody was nice and they maintained proper social distance between tables.
Excellent food and service, love coming to Romeo's for a delicious meal
Always a nice meal even with Covid precautions.
We had an earlier Friendsgiving that week and had a loved Italian feast for Thanksgiving day!
Great place for any occasion. Excellent food and service.
Always good food and outstanding service. Great for any occasion.
Wednesday 9/30/20 was the first day of inside seating in NYC. We decided to dine out because it is my wife's birthday and she is retiring soon. As noted, we are an older couple and the staff sat us inside and away from the others dining inside. The waiters wore their masks at all times and, although attentive, did not unnecessarily linger at the table. The food and wine were A1 (Osso Bucco, Veal and a 2014 Brunello di Montalcino. We had dined here before but they really did a superb job this night. A truly great addition to the neighborhood.
Wonderful neighborhood restaurant. Love coming here.
Make sure your martini glasses are filled when serving a cocktail. Thanks
As always, perfect food and service. Eating outdoors has never been my choice. We ate outdoors and really had an amazing time. The waiters at Romeo’s definitely do an outstanding job. Thank you!!!!!
Sunday lunch with friends. Food delicious as always. My risotto with short ribs was very tasty. Took some home.
Lovely neighborhood restaurant. Hope it survives Covid.
This is my first time writing a review, which goes to show how much of an extremely bad experience this was. My date and I reserved a table for 8:00 pm, but had to wait until 8:33 pm to be seated (what is the point of making a reservation ahead of time for Valentine’s???) While we were waiting (Asian couple here), they seated the white and Latino couples first, who came after us! Then, when we were finally seated, they did not even serve us bread that is customarily served to all the other guests. We requested for it four times to our waiter and we still did not get it. Our main course (filet mignon) had strands of hair in it. Disgusting! We showed it to our waiter, who replaced our dish with some thing else because they ran out of filet mignon, but it was way too salty to eat. They said they cannot serve dishes from the usual menu. So, we were forced to accept the Valentine’s Day menu, which would have been fine except that they ran out of the food listed that they promised as part of the set menu. They ran out of the main course as well as the dessert, but still made us pay the full price for the set menu that was missing several pieces ($200 for 2 people in total). We could have enjoyed a way better meal and experience at a Michelin restaurant for $200. This was the worst culinary experience of our entire life. We still tipped well. Also, we wasted a total of 3 hours for a four course meal that was tasteless, had hair, expensive, took way too long for the quality we were served and extremely poor service. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Also, the set menu ONLY has ravioli and no other pasta option!!! How is this an Italian restaurant when it does not serve pasta ????
the music presentation that was until 4pm ended long before 3 pm
Good food and service. Friday night had a music concert with international music. Entertaining.
Waited over an hour for the main coarse after ordering. No one came to see if we needed anything during that time. Food was not worth the price. Disappointed.
The food was not good, the service was lax, the ambiance was terrible. Would not recommend.
Romeo’s is a great restaurant I eat there often and have never been disappointed.
Good food and very nice staff. It’s a nice addition to the neighborhood.
Food was delicious. Service and ambience was great.
Lovely restaurant with excellent service, caring staff and good food. Unlike many local restaurants the pace is managed allowing for a quiet and most enjoyable dining experience.
The food was very good, not a great place for kids as the service is paced but that shouldn’t deter anyone from trying it.
Great food, atmosphere and service. Two people in our party came late, and the staff were very accommodating. My only issue is that they are a little pricey.
Very hot, noisy people next to us, with crying babies. Forgot an order, then charged us for it.. over priced food!!!
Zuppe de Pesce was extremely salty!
Mango margarita was perfect. Service was a bit slow, even though there was only one other table of customers. Food was very good. We had Cesar salad with grilled chicken, fetuccini Alfredo with chicken. Would recommend if you have an.extended lunch.
First the waiters were very good and attentive. We found the ambiance too dark and a bit cold but otherwise it was pleasant. The food was awful. The capellini with seafood barely had very tiny pieces of seafood and tasteless sauce. My capellini with pancetta etc had practically no sauce. When we complained they took our plates and added the sauce or should have had in the same place. The other two people with us found the chicken tough and did not enjoy the tomato sauce. However in General the food m was not good. I have to say that to make up for it they gave us desserts hutch were good. But for an Italian restaurants with not low prices we thought the food was quite bad. Sorry.
I think we were there on a bad night. They didn't get the reservation right. Service was not good. Pork chop was tiny. Lasagna was not good...drowned underneath way too much sauce. Forgot a side dish among other things. The list is quite long. It's fine for a local restaurant. There aren't too many Italian restaurants near this one. I'm sure we also went on an off night (Sunday night). But we don't live in the neighborhood so won't be back.
I went to this restaurant with my parents for a late Valentine’s Day treat from me. It’s a small restaurant but very well decorated and intimately classy. At first the service was outstanding but we were later forgotten frequently. Coffee and tea was late and communication between the waiters was poor. Overall the restaurant was very pleasant and I would go back for other occasions.
