Great atmosphere! Wonderful wait staff. Highly recommend!
Except for the very hot weather, we were still able to enjoy the delicious food!
Only snack menu on the rooftop - brunch and lunch options served in the two restaurants on the main level.
Beautiful building. Excellent food. Fantastic view from the roof top patio. Disappointed that we weren't able to linger over a coffee. Not sure that I've ever been to a restaurant that doesn't make coffee/tea available in all rooms at all times of the day!
Great food, great service, great atmosphere, great time
Food was overpriced and awful. “Hand-cut” chips were reheated packet fries. Apparently there’s a wait list for the outside seats although 4 chairs were available the whole time we were there. The inside area was over air-conditioned and freezing. I definitely won’t be back
Great view, great atmosphete
What an amazing venue! The view and ambience was spectacular. The menu was interesting, we had the cheese plate and cocktails to start. Then shared the sliders and parmesan chicken bites. Everything was delicious and we felt sated. Our server was prompt, helpful and very accommodating. A must see if you are looking for an interesting spot with charm and a great energy.
Food can be better
Beautiful rooftop patio with great view of the skyline
I had reservation booked since May 26 for 1pm. We asked to sit near a window where there was empty seats and was told a bigger group was coming in. The table of 6 came in and than left right away, so we were allowed to than sit there.
I ordered the beef sliders well done they arrived med rare. I sent them back and it was rectified .
A wedding party showed up at around 2:00 and was very loud. At 2:30 we were told to continue to enjoy are time, but the wedding party has booked the rooftop for 4pm and we will be asked to leave shortly.
The ambience at the Broadview Rooftop can’t be beat! The views, restaurant design and vibe alone are worth a return visit. Our cocktails were delicious, as were the charcuterie platter, sliders and frites. We left most of the raclette and tuna tartare behind. Service could have been more attentive. All in all, however, we will definitely be returning.
The rooftop is always the place to be on a sunny, social evening. The west side overlooking the skyline and Queen St. East is my preference, even in full sun (just apply the sunscreen before you sit down). Enjoy!
Funky decor, liked it a lot. Great cocktails and views of the city!
Really appreciated the accommodating staff. Delicious food. Nice views.
It is one of the most spectacular views in Toronto. Music is loud and jarring. Such a shame for such a beautiful spot. Quiet jazz might be appropriate. Save the screaming music for late night part crowds please.
Only one small thing, if possible, removable umbrellas in the areas that get full sun?
Rooftop Menu wasn't overly long, but well rounded and every dish that hit the table was delicious! Octopus my fave feature, perfect spot for sharing and the view makes things that much nicer 💜
Fantastic meet up place with a great view of the city. The music was good with the live DJ. Ambiance was very fantastic. Drinks over priced. Great patio - view is okay. Inside you have a 360 degree view of the city. Would come back for another meet up with friends.
Vibe was fun and modern. The views were great and decor was fun. However the food was not great, firstly there was not many options, and there portion sizes were SO SMALL for the amount you were paying. Don't come here if you want to eat a meal. Had to go buy more food after
We were moved from our table so many times and it got worse every time . So awkward. Also super hard to get waitress’s attention
Food was terrible, drinks were over priced and the wait staff were not dressed according to the style of the restaurant.
Views were great, but would never go back again.
The view is lovely. The food is excellent but a little pricey for what you get. The sliders were delicious and certainly worth the money. We were able to get a bottle of white wine off the bin ends list for $50 and it was very good wine. It was overall a great experience. Staff were very attentive and we didn't feel rushed at all.
Good food. Good company good service good people
Went on a Saturday night around 9:30pm - bad idea. The place was so over-crowded and understaffed that we ended up just leaving because no one approached (or acknowledged) our table although we waited patiently for 10 minutes. Also the crowed was way to douchey for our liking. Sometime during the week might be a better experience.
Wonderful cocktails and unique ones as well. Outside patio seating was fantastic. I did not eat anything there so have no comments on the same. I would definitely recommend it.
The food was sub par. Only thing good about the rooftop...is the rooftop. Washrooms are nice
Overpriced for what is served. Unfortunately will not return. Too bad because if they stepped it up a notch with the menu it would be a great place to visit
I would definitely recommend the Rooftop Bar because of the world-class view, great tapas menu and outstanding service.
However, the noise level was too energetic for the dining area, and didn't allow for conversation.
I will be back but not likely to eat just to have a drink.
Our server was incredible. She was attentive , super accommodating, (we asked to move tables after being sat at a different table & we had ordered drinks. Without hesitation she was cheerful, helpful & moved us) We had food allergies at our table . She dbl checked our order so there were no issues. She made our "day drinking & eating" memorable. Her and the ambiance. The decor is creatively combined making it feel comfortable but edgy & modern. Loved it.
Terrible waiter and overpriced food
Great patio and scenic view!
Our server was very kind and helpful. We just ordered sliders and fries (drinking night) but everything was really good. View is beautiful.
Joined a colleague for a casual lunch at the rooftop bar. Pleased to see that the menu clearly noted common allergens (I.e. each item had listed GF, V, etc) which makes it so much easier to order. The food was very good. The rooftop setting was terrific.
I signed up online but it was not clear that the rooftop bar does not serve food on certain days ... they have snacks all the time though but on the main floor they have a dinner menu. The food we had was great but I was mad that I couldn’t eat that day on the roof top. Definitely tell people before they get there about your serving schedule
Lovely place with a great vibe, original menu, amazing staff and perfect view. No better place to be when the weather is cooperating!
If going for drinks this is the perfect spot. If however you’re looking for a place to have dinner this is not the place for you. We have been to many tapas places in Toronto and understand the costs and size of food that’s offered with “shared plates”. The issue with this place is that the quality of the food is very bad for what you pay. The service was excellent though so cannot fault them.
A very handsome room, lightly populated at lunch, and playing music much too loud. We had three apps for three people, with just enough food. The fried chicken bites were fine, the frites good and well-spiced. The raclette was very good too. Cocktails were pronounced just fine too. The only problem was the sun--we were directly under the skylight which needs some type of screening. The view out the windows to the south is dazzling, day or night. Unfortunately, the restaurant appears not to have given me credit for the visit--no Open Table points. (an email to the hotel drew no result.)
The experience was fantastic. Everyone had a great time. The service was great. The waitress was very engaging and had a wonderful energy. The only issue we had was we physically went to the bar 3 days in advance to ensure a specific table and seating area. I personally watched the hostess make the change. However when the party arrived, the hostess brought the party to another table. I wouldn’t have personally taken the time to drive to the bar in advance to ensure a table if they weren’t going to seat us there. It was a pretty big waste of my time and kind of disappointing that this could happen at such a venue. Outside of these logistics the dining experience was beautiful and views were unforgettable.
Great food, great service and super view of the City skyline!
