Valentines Day menu was MUCH smaller than we expected. The menu wasn’t advertised on Open Table. But otherwise, it was a great time.

The ambience was nice but the restaurant was very cold. Service was a little slow but very pleasant.

I loved the location, service and environment was excellent. My only critique is that there was only 1 page for the food menu. Last year there was a full food menu which I preferred. The rooftop seems to be only good for drinks after dinner now.

Great table with views outside and inside but it was extremely cold and hard to enjoy the night. We kept our coats on but our legs were frozen. Would not recommend to anyone. It was disappointing.

Nice place to grab a drink - but it was very cold! Myself and women at other tables were all draping our jackets over our outfits (and I was already wearing a leather jacket underneath). Would recommend really bundling up if you choose to go here!

A good spot for a quick cocktail and snacks, but menu isn’t substantial enough for a complete meal. Great view of the city and friendly service.

Food was expensive and we had 3 different waitors. We ordered short ribs to share and got one short rib. One. Waitor tried to get me to tip twice.

Love the new decor by Jacobs Creek. Really feels appropriate for our weather. The duck poutine is so good you have to have it twice. Thanks Reece #no1barman for your friendly service and never letting our glasses be empty.

THE HEATING WASN'T WORKING SO IT WAS EXTREMELY COLD.

THE WAITER NIGEL SERVICE WAS FANTASTIC. BUT HE RECOMMENDED THE CHICKEN SCNITZEL AND I WAS NOT DELICIOUS.

HE HAD A FANTASTIC SEAT AND VIEW THIS TIME. THE PREVIOUS TIME I CAME DURING TIFF. IT WAS PACKED AND THEY MADE US WAIT IN THE LOBBY DOWNSTAIRS FOR QUITE AWHILE. WHILE THEY LET OTHERS CUT US IN LINE.

You used to have a great, delicious menu, now you don't have any of the small plates you used to have, little selection, bland food.

Beside us was a large group celebrating an event and it was super loud to the point we had to yell at our waiter when he was taking our order, and even then we could barely hear each other and we were the only other table in that area. Within 2 minutes after this uncomfortable setting, our waiter offered to move us into a different area away from that group. This entirely made our experience so much better and enjoy the evening much more. Staff was very considerate and kind to move us to a different table and food was super quick to come out shortly after we ordered.
Definitely will be recommending this place to others and will be coming back again!

Beautiful view and great vibe to hang out with friends! Service very slow. Music not the greatest even though there was a DJ. But still had fun and would return just to see that view again.

The view at the rooftop bar is unparallelled and the decor is smart and comfortable. The wine list is good but the menu choices for food is a little limited. As a group of three we ordered three menu items but each came separately and by the time we were all settled each one was cold. Later in the evening the rooftop bar becomes a bit of a club scene so if you prefer quieter dining I would go for the civic downstairs or even the lobby bar. Overall a good experience for drinks and the view and next time I would order food to share.

Our reservation was for 6:30 pm, but when we arrived we were told that we had to be out of there for 8:30 because our table was booked for another reservation at that time. We were a group of four celebrating someone’s birthday so we countered that we might be longer than that. No one seemed to want to adjust our table assignment to accommodate that, despite our appeals to the server and a higher-up. It really put a damper on our evening knowing we’d have to eat, drink and be merry, all within two hours. And no one had communicated this when I made the reservation so I was embarrassed by the predicament. As a result we probably ordered less and drank less. Eventually our waitress told us they’d shuffled things around for us and that we could stay longer than 8:30. But it felt like too little too late at that point. Food was great and cocktails were well concocted. Nice ambiance. But I won’t go back.

This place has a huge room for improvement, the food taste good but was cold, Love the Fried platain but was cold, same with the beef. There was a Dj but he never was in front of the deck.. I always heard more people talking than music

Don't get me wrong, the rooftop is one of the best places in the city for drinks. But the food has gone DOWNHILL. Boring, bland make at home recipes are available here for a large premium. Sure you can pay $13 for "Spanish Fries" or you could stay home and dust some frozen McCain fries in paprika, it'll be the exact same thing.
Go for the view and a few drinks but go elsewhere for the food, the rooftop has lost it's way with the menu.

You are literally elbow to elbow with other tables and instead of being on a date I felt like I was hanging out with a group of friends (my table neighbours). I got to hear all about Brad doing the same thing to her as he did to Mary and on my left we were very happy the bottle had been put away to get chilled! Oh but he did forget to set up the TV so that was a minus. Not worth what they charge you whatsoever.

I wouldn't recommend the Rooftop Bar for brunch because there really isn't a 'brunch' menu offered. The odd thing is online we were lead to believe we could order brunch at the Rooftop Bar only to find out that we couldn't. So we had to wait for about 45 mins to get a seat at the bar in the restaurant downstairs. This was unfortunate. The server at the Rooftop Bar was very nice and accommodating.

great views, especially with the fall leaves. Good service (didn't bother us too much because we were busy catching up, but came to check on us every now and then). It was a Lincoln Music night so it got busier and LOUDER as the music got going. The music was too loud to talk over so we left to go elsewhere in the neighbourhood. I would still recommend!

The view was terrific, the service was good, but the food was quite disappointing. I love small plates, but the quality and flavour of the food must be worthy of the price point. I didn't find this to be the case with the sliders ( meh, they were fine), nor the calamari ( not particularly tasty, and we sent it back to be re-fired as the dredging was not fully cooked and soggy underneath the fried outer layer). We would have ordered more food, but after two rounds of average apps we decided to finish our meal elsewhere. Sorry!

It's been a while since I've been to the the Rooftop Bar, and it seems to have undergone some unfortunate changes.

On arrival, the hostess had us wait as she finished up her personal conversation with her colleague. She then proceeded to seat two groups who had arrived after us .. to be fair, both groups rudely pushed past us to get to the hostess - but I would have liked a "sorry, this group was here first" or at the very least an apologetic shrug to acknowledge the value of all patrons.

I'm also disappointed by the new menu. Fried calamari? Lettuce wraps? Sliders? I assume charcuterie and tartare weren't paying the bills ... but surely there is room for inspiration as we chase mass gastronimic appeal.

And! The! Noise! Three tables around us were well past their "s'cuse me sir but we think you've had enough" point - which led to a decibel arms race as each table strained to be heard.

Overall, a bit of a disappointing return to the Rooftop. Shame, given it has one of the most gorgeous views of downtown.

I was a half hour late so my reservation was cancelled. I tried to call to say that we were running late, but could only leave a voice message. Even though there were several empty tables, the hostess was not going to seat us. I did ask to speak to the manager at which point she offered to seat us if we vacated the table by 8:30. This was not a problem. She had attitude.

Our waitress was wonderful! She made our night.
