Alex, out barternder/server, was amazing!
It’s a beautiful location and great ambiance:) Conor was a great server and the cocktails were delicious…the food was ok…I was disappointed in the octopus …the octopus itself was good but it came with more sausage then octopus:)
Fantastic view of the city!
Staff very attentive.
Cauliflower dish excellent
Very relaxed, nice atmosphere.
If out on balcony need to ask for part with view .
Nice view with great menus for big party sharing!
Overall food and drink was fantastic, only issues was the fries were definitely over seasoned. Good service, great views.
Food wasnt good. The atmosphere is a bit ok. service was great
Felt the table (couch with long coffee table) was a bit awkward for a dinner. I feel like it should have been clarified if we’d be eating and given something a bit more appropriate. Other than that, great experience!
Cocktails are excellent! Food is mediocre. More like fancy pub grub. Not a dinner experience really. Most incredible view. The lightning storm was an amazing show from up there!
Loved the food, the staff was absolutely lovely. All around a fabulous time.
First time visiting
We had an amazing server ( don’t know her name)
Had several small plates to share
Loved them all
Great view of the city. Cool vibe. Food is eclectic and tasty. Service was wonderful.
The Rooftop Bar is a surprise at how nice it is set-up and the ambience of the place. The team is very kind and always checking to make sure we have what we ordered and that we are happy. The view from the top is exceptional. What a surprise for an out-of-town person to see this kind of rooftop bar in the heart of Toronto. The food was as described in their menu and came within a short time after ordering. Overall, it's a five star place. Thank you for the pleasant surprise. We will certainly put the Rooftop Bar as one of the places to entertain our staff and families.
I never leave reviews but I must say this was a huge disappointment. My chicken bao tasted like fish the cocktails were horrible. My friend from out of town said this is the worst meal I’ve had in Toronto so far (and has been here for 2.5 weeks already lol)
Ambiance and view is great everything else is a let down
Excellent food and ambience. Interesting menu leaning towards an Asian /Fusion selection.
Food was very good although a bit pricey. Great location and views.
Staff is friendly and understanding. The outdoor seats aren’t comfortable and the table was very shaky. Menu is limited so we liked some items and didn’t like others. Our view was a parking lot facing. The interior ambience seemed better with Toronto skyline night views and comfortable seating.
Terrible timeline to order drinks despite not being busy.
First time to drink wine from a liquor glass…is this a way of creativity? Food was delicious but choice is very limited. We wanted to order coffee and desert at the end but were told coffee couldn’t be served and there was only one type of desert. The ambiance is absolutely stunning but I really was hoping the rest can be as good.
View is fantastic !
Great rooftop, inside and outside are both as beautiful. View is awesome and the food is delicious.
I found the food choices unappealing and the prices way too high. $28 for very tough steak slices lettuce wraps X 3 an 1 dessert = a $124.00 bill incl. tip. No hot drinks, so no coffee or tea. I never mind the price if the food is excellent. This was definitely under par. Left half the steak. Left hungry. Never a good sign.
Great spot in the later aft for a quick business connect. Atmosphere lends to unexpected possibilities if you get there early enough.
The space is beautiful, with great views of the city. I’ve found the food during previous visits to the restaurant to be really good, however on this visit I left wanting more.
Perhaps it was this specific menu? As well, we found that our server was not the most attentive, or perhaps they didn’t want to seem overly attentive. In any case, we had to ask for water refills and for the machine to pay at the end of the night. It’s nice to have regular check-ins so we don’t have to ask for those specific things.
Was very pleased to be seated outside as I read it can be tricky to get an outdoor patio spot especially on a Saturday night. We loved the ambience and the views. We found the menu a little limited and though the bao's were yummy, they felt pricy for the portions and ingredients. I had the kale and romaine lettuce salad and though it looked Instagram-worthy and the ingredients seemed fresh, there was basically no dressing or seasoning which made it very bland. I also paid $7 to add chicken and it came with only a few pieces. Our server was great! Would go back for the view and maybe when the fall or winter menu comes out.
We were ignored by service for the most part. Some of our food came out but some did not. Our server couldn't keep track of our order and forgot to pick up the bulgogi steak which arrived cold. It was very difficult to get our bill at the end of our meal. Super disappointing.
We had a lovely lunch and the rooftop was beautiful but we would of liked to be seated outside as we thought we booked a table out there. When we were told it was first come first served even though a $10 deposit was taken from us to book a table I was a bit disappointed but overall we had a lovely time and our server was great!
Fabulous as always. I think we tried every bao, all delicious.
Great way to enjoy the city. Amazing service and food!
When someone in my party got there for the reservation before myself, they had served a few other patrons prior to him even though he was there first.
He was then seated at a temporary spot at a bar and was switched to a table once we got there.
We were then told numerous times by our server that we had to leave at 2:30 since we were sat, while we were enjoying our drinks and while eating our food.
It would’ve been fine to just have been told once and maybe another time to remind us but we felt rushed and couldn’t enjoy our time properly.
It was all our first time there and we had all looked forward to checking out the rooftop bar for a while but the experience left us a bit disappointed.
Nevertheless, the food was great and the place is beautiful. We are hoping to visit again and give it another chance. Just wanted to share our experience in case the servers don’t realize that something like that can really dampen the mood. We hope other patrons do not go through the same experience.
Perfect day to be on this beautiful rooftop patio. Good options for vegans and vegetarians and meat eaters alike. We had all 3 in our party of 6.
The food was good although I was surprised the tuna on my soba noodle bowl was raw cubes of tuna so if that’s not your thing stick with the chicken or tofu. I think it was described as seared tuna on the menu.
This is a special place. The service was very good and attentive.
We visited for lunch with friends from Vancouver and wanted to give them a "Toronto" experience and view and they loved the uniqueness of the restaurant!
First time here and definitely would go back! Seating on the roof is very comfortable with benches and cushions. Interior restaurant is stylish and comfortable. Seating is well spaced. Grateful for COVID vax check. View of Toronto is wonderful. Service was fine. Food was good to excellent.
Cauliflower esquites and chicken and cabbage dumplings were excellent. Baos had good flavour but would have appreciated a more substantial portion. Menu would benefit from a more fulsome explanation of the choices. Also, no coffee is served after 11 am and would have appreciated being able to get or even buy a coffee somewhere in the hotel after our meal.
Overall - a spectacular patio, a unique dining experience and definitely will go back again.
Food was good, service was good. Bit pricy, but as to be expected in Toronto. Had heaters and blankets available for patio which is nice. Views were nice as well.
Nice place but the view werent as good as I expected. In the otherhand Food was above my expectations. Overall I was satisfied
Super greeting team, wonderful server, delicious apps and an outstanding view from the roof patio made for a delightful visit! Thank you, Broadview!
Great service and atmosphere! Food is ideal for sharing.
The food was great. The service was super. Good COVID protocols in place
We were celebrating our anniversary which was stated on the reservation. The server did not acknowledge. there was nothing different than a regular night out.
Always a great time on the rooftop. Wine was delicious
This restaurant is only good for drinks and a nibble.
