Nice decor and chilled decent service. Often the decor in Indian restaraunts is awful with red velvet everywhere. This was a nice chilled sytle, lovely murals painted on the walls, lovely blue velvet comfortable chairs, nice cutlery and great service. Food is great. Quite a lot of sugar added I suspect, very tasyt. Prices are very reasonable too, they have not tried to charge you fine-dining prices but it feels like fine quality ingredients and cooking. I'll be going back there for sure, we were there for lunch and it was nice and chilled.

This was without a soy by the best Indian food around. The menu is smaller that you might expect but this is because everything is made fresh. The flavours are incredible and no colouring etc are used. The service was also fantastic. We will definitely be back!

The staff were very friendly, the food was great, and there was a great atmosphere. It felt like it was high class, but without the rigidity and stuffiness you'd expect from high class places. We were made to feel very welcome and we enjoyed our time there. It felt like they went above and beyond to make us feel at home.

This was our second time at Roots in a week, so what does that tell you! The food is delicious & presented well, the staff are really friendly & welcoming. On both times the restaurant was busy & attracting a lot of attention from passers-by. They also have a good selection of cocktails & drinks. We can’t wait to go back

Fantastic Indian with an imaginative, fresh menu. Waiters were Knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions. Goat Biryani was amazing. 3/4 starters plus shared main course and two beers cost £58. But good value considering quality of food.

First experience of Roots and we loved it! Great selection of food, drink and has a wonderful cocktail bar too. Service was attentive but you could see the waiting staff rushed off their feet with a busy restaurant and takeaway/delivery service going on as well. Can highly recommend these 'new guys on the block' - just what Teddington needs when it comes to Indian cuisine. We will be going back.

Great food. Big Thank you to the chef! Best Indian restaurant I’ve been to for a long time. Quick service and colourful decoration. Only small downside we were sat at a table for three squashed into a dimly lit corner despite arriving early to half full restaurant.

Fantastic food! Really lovely and different than your standard curry house menu, even better tasting We thought sides were priced a little high, and would have liked different sauces with the popadums, plus some chopped onions. . Service was slick and caring. Everything oozed care and attention. (One note - Could the beers be colder?) Overall this was a great night out, and we will be back!

Food that wins the heart. Absolutely amazing new Indian restaurant. Beautiful and comfortable ambience with very positive vibes. Authentic and delicious cuisine, in fact one of the best Indian restaurants we have found in London. Great staff very friendly, respectful and knowledgeable of their menu as they tell you a story about every dish that has been served. Thanks Aman and Steve, your service standards are top class and we will always remember how well you treated us and our 5 visiting guest. Great menu with a good choice of meats, fish and veg. the lamb Kolhapuri and Chicken Nilgiri being our favourite, accompanied by mango colada that taste heavenly. We can’t wait to try every dish of this amazing restaurant. Roots is such a breath of fresh air warms the heart just being in there. Great job done by the owner and salute to the humble Chefs who know how to win hearts. We wish them every success and looking forward to many more branches from Roots.

5 of us dined here- we liked the decor but we felt dishes very overpriced... and portions very small! Some dishes very tasty but others mediocre. Didn't like poppadoms served in cones as stale old bits from previous diners at the bottom. Overcharged by £20 on the bill- luckily we checked it, alerted waiter and it was sorted. Won't be back, and wouldn't recommend.

Excellent food, service and ambience. The table before us was a little late leaving so the owner bought us a beer at the bar which we thoroughly enjoyed. Throughout the service was impeccable and the food unique and delicious! Can’t wait to return! The best Indian in Teddington for us, it was nice knowing you Prem!

The restaurant is nicely decorated, very comfortable chairs, low volume music and good acoustics. A very welcoming and comfortable ambience. The staff were very helpful in helping us to choose our dishes, and the food was served in good time, but, most importantly, was delightful when it came. We will definitely eat at Roots again!
