We had a lovely meal. Staff were very attentive & we were not rushed. We very much enjoyed our experience there & will go again. I forgot to photograph the dessert which was a delicious rum & raisin ice cream with some little sponges. Heaven. The berry rice & spinach & mushroom side dishes were lovely too. The people next to us had little poppadums in paper cones. Definitely planning another visit.

The best Indian food that I've eaten in a long time. Nice ambiance and attentive service. My only criticism is that vegan options are very limited - I was offered only one choice of starter - samosas and one main - jackfruit biryani. The biryani was delicious however the lack of vegan choices will limit how often I dine at Roots as I don't want to eat the same thing each time I go. That said for a carnivore or vegetarian I would highly recommend it.

Third visit to this fantastic restaurant and the food, service and entire experience has been exemplary. Really pleased to have this establishment on the local high street and will be a regular visitor in the future.

Been to restaurant a few times now lovely food and staff very attentive and aphmosphere is good. Chiefs table is very nice Sat on their for friends birthday. We don't live nearby but it's always worth the trip.

Second visit and as impressed as the first. Great quality food, simple but enough of a selection on the menu. The restaurant decor and design has a modern and fresh take on Indian dining. Above all though is the service which is highly attentive and just right. My friend and I were the last to leave the restaurant but there was certainly no pressure to leave until we were ready. We will be back again very soon!

Excellent attentive service . We would have liked more explanation of dishes and were not told about the chef’s special ( just overheard another table being told after we had ordered). The menu was small but we liked that as not too overwhelming and there were some interesting dishes . The food was so tasty. We loved how the poppadoms were presented ! We would definitely recommend.

It was our first visit having had the restaurant recommended by friends who, coincidentally, were also dining there the same evening. The noise levels from one table meant that conversation was difficult at times and the food was disappointing. Moreover, the prices were steep compared with those of our favourite Indian restaurant in the area. Unfortunately I can't see us returning anytime soon.

Unfortunately there was only a set lunch menu due to staff shortage which meant we didnt get okra which is an absolute favorite. However food was very good for the price, service attentive and not noisy. We will go back!

Amazing - food is incredible, service and passion of the food is incredible, couldn't fault it. We were too full for desert so will have to go back as they looked so delicious. What a great addition to our high street ☺️

Following a recommendation from a friend who lives in Teddington, my partner and I visited Roots for an evening dinner. We were greeted by friendly staff and offered a good table. The menu and wine list were limited which made choices easy. What followed was excellent service and truly stunning Indian dishes. Roots is already by far the best of Indian restaurants in SW London.

The perfect Sunday lunch with an Indian flair - I can't wait to try the evening menu. We had the Sunday Roast Menu with a leg of Spring Lamb for all 4 of us and it didn't disappoint. I highly recommend trying it.

I visited for the first time last night with my step-sons. We all said the food was delicious, the decor was lovely, the service was impeccable and the staff were very helpful and informative. It was also reasonably priced. Will definitely be going again. Loved it all.

The food is the best Indian food I have had in a long while. I have eaten at the Michelin star restaurants in London and this restaurants food is better. The chicken biryani is so good. The service is personal and friendly.

Fantastic food. A cut above other local Indian restaurants. Good ambience, though unless you like a quiet environment I wouldn’t suggest dining downstairs. Great artwork on the wall and comfortable chairs. 5 star service. Can’t fault it.
