The ambience is absolutely spectacular. The food is mediocre at best. Their cocktails are great!
My favorite restaurant. Food is out of this world. Servers really know what they are doing and it shows.
Best dining experience I have ever had. The food was amaxing and service memorable. I am planning my next visit now.
The food, service and whole ambience of this place is amazing. We were served by Emiliano and his service went above and beyond. Super friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. I would definitely go back and recommend this place to others
Great atmosphere and great food. Staff know their menu and had great recommendations. Would definintely go back.
Wonderful dining! Ambience, food with great menu items would bring me back frequently bringing friends and family to try. Well done!
Food was fast and everything was amazing!
Food is amazing! Well prepared and delicious! Nice location.
I enjoyed the vegetarian fritters thought they could have been a bit tastier. I disagree with the reviews I have read concerning the burger. They could be lighter and tastier. Very few vegan burgers that I have tasted are good enough to warrant a second try and they invariably need lots of sauce to add the flavour. Definitely the best dish I had was the chocolate mousse. The deep chocolate taste had me in the clouds.
Delicious Food, good drinks and all around cool atmosphere.
Excellent meal and ambiance
Love this place - definitely will be back! Recommend to anyone who loves Mexican good!!!
We were given a fabulous table near the back. Our server was excellent and suggested all the dishes we ordered. Can’t wait to go back!!
Delicious vegan food. Good drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. A beautiful space and friendly, great service. A perfect dinner spot for pre-theatre/ballet.
Really excellent vegan food. It is fresh and not overly seasoned although the Mexican dishes are spicy. Very friendly service.
Food and ambience was great.. Service by far, amazing!
As a vegetarian, I really appreciated that that the menu had many options with different textures and diverse flavour combos. The eggplant plate was my favourite. I also appreciated that there were both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink selections. The cocktails were creative and delicious. The staff was very friendly and professional. The ambience was green, modern, and sleek but a bit corporate.
The food was mediocre - we were seated at the back where the kitchen was. There was a large group next to us so the noise was mostly from them - nothing to do with restaurant staff - bit of noise from kitchen.
The main issue was the food, did not find it anything special - the roasted eggplant was too dry and the quality was overall not worth the price. The flautas were missing a kick - very bland tasting, the coconut ceviche was interesting but still didn’t quite hit the spot for any of us.
The ambiance was great in the main room but the back space seemed unfinished.
I don’t mind paying for a great meal - wanted this to be a great experience but it wasn’t due to the food, staff was busy - our empty plates were on the table for half an hour and the gap between appetizers and mains was 45 minutes so we were rushed for our plans later at night.
Our waiter was probably the only reason I have a 3 and not a 2 star rating - he would check in on us despite being busy and was courteous and polite.
The rest of the waiting staff were flustered and awkward while taking and bringing dishes. I’d expect a better service standard - a lot of unexplored potential - 3 star for me at this moment, not sure if I would come back to Rosalinda.
Unfortunately would not recommend this place, the service and the
Great spot to grab some great food before a ballet or opera. Service for drink timing a little slow but overall great cocktail menu and the atmosphere is lovely!
My party needed to dine with a specific time cap for the ballet. It was discussed prior to ordering that we had a full 1.5 hours to dine. It was 5 minutes beyond the max time cap and we had not received two main dishes or dessert. Until we had already reached our dining limit we were not checked in on at any point in our meal unless we waived our server down. Luckily, the food was delicious.
I am always excited when I find a vegan restaurant and I was especially looking forward to this Mexican Vegan experience. The restaurant has a cool vibe and the staff was all friendly and helpful. I did find the menu a bit confusing, but the server helped pick a few items to share. Portion size seemed to be fairly small, but everything was tasty, and a few items were a whole new taste experience for me. : ) The food was delivered promptly by very friendly staff. Some of the chairs in the restaurant look uncomfortable, but thankfully I was not seated on them. I would recommend this restaurant very much.
I wanted to like this place so badly. The food was just ok. We had to add a lot of the garlicky mango? hot sauce to make things taste more dynamic. We had the chicharron, the avocado tamale, a couple tacos...nothing stood out. In fact, everything kind of tasted the same just configured differently. Our server wasn't really managing his time well. Forgetting to take our drink order for 15 minutes and instead, we watched him refill water glasses throughout his section. When I got his attention I could tell he forgot about us. Then he got our order wrong and instead of just taking it on the chin, made it seem as if we'd ordered wrong and it was really OUR fault. The menus were dirty (red wine stains and sauce). The chocolate mousse was pure sugar. It was way too sweet. Sorry guys. This is a miss for me. I will definitely give it another try to taste other dishes, but this first experience wasn't good.
I went with a friend to celebrate our birthdays, and we were looking forward to a new experience. Unfortunately the night did not start out well as it took more than 20 minutes before we could order cocktails, and when we tried to order the chilaquiles as an appetizer, it arrived roughly 2 minutes before our entrees. The consistency was not good (extremely soupy), and eventually they were taken away by a manager or owner. They did remove that from our bill which was appreciated. I had the chorizo quinoa bowl and enjoyed it immensely; there was a great mixture of textures and flavours. My friend had the Rosa burger - she was not impressed. She said it was rather one note. As we were celebrating, we did opt for dessert - tres leches cake and spiced churros. Again there was an issue with over saucing and texture consistency. The server was not very attentive and did not answer the questions we had about the menu. The restaurant is nicely set up and most people seemed to be having a good time. I would recommend going to try it out, but for us, now that we've gone, it's been crossed off the list.
Beautiful atmosphere, staff is friendly and professional. Drinks are delicious, the food was good but I left hungry... also the tables are too close together, so I was closer to the people on either side than to my dining partner. Mushroom tacos were delicious.
Love this restaurant. I’ve been many times and will be back many more in the future.
I was so excited to try this place out based on the Instagram posts but the images had more zang than the food. I got the breakfast taco and I was super disappointed! My taco was a bland and was not seasoned properly. I should have gone to Fresh. I would not dine here again.
Great food, great ambiance, even if you're not vegan it was really delicious! Cool spot
Everything was great! The tres leche cake was amazing!
Came in for dinner before a show, we were after healthy plant based options and this place exceeded our expectations. Will be back again!!
We had a great time at Rosalinda, celebrating my mom’s birthday. Everything we ate was really tasty and beautifully presented.
Our server was so nice and really took the time to talk thru the food with us as well as share his thoughts on plant based eating. All in all, a really fun dinner before a show-i look forward to going back with my husband next time we’re in Toronto!
Food and service was great. Delicious cocktails and mezcal flights. This meatie will be back for round 2 in a few weeks.
Rosalinda was great. Very fresh and flavourful dishes, intriguing cocktails and beautiful ambiance. The service was just okay but we had a great time overall.
Best vegan food in Toronto! I recommend the coconut ceviche and the burger! The restaurant's atmosphere and vibe is stunning as well.
Amazing! Start to finish !!! Everything was perfect ! Wow wow wow vegan Mexican and my first ever vegan resto experience!
Superb as usual. Love this place. Everything from food to service to the place itself is lovely.
Our expectation was unfortunately not met. Atmosphere was nice, as well as the people. Service was a little slow and food was unsatisfying. If I went for a second visit, I would try other items from the menu. Not the worst experience overall but I’m hesistant to give the restaurant a second chance.
We really enjoyed our first-time experience at Rosalinda's 2 days ago! The food was tasty, the decor, music and vibe were on point for a trendy city spot. The staff were very professional and approachable, while also accommodating dietary/allergy concerns. The drink menu is something else! Unique and refreshing cocktail options kept it interesting and relaxed that evening. We thoroughly enjoyed the Tres Leches cake... Simply put, to DIE FOR!!! If the slice was a bit larger, that would have been ideal. I will definitely be coming back and I have recommended this place to several friends already. :)
The food was delicious & the booths were comfy! The server was attentive and when they forgot to bring an appetizer, the server brought it free as a take-away! We would go again!!
My wife and I had a great experience at Rosalinda. We went there for my birthday dinner date. The service was superb and they went over and beyond our expectations. It’s the little gestures that really go a long way. We are definitely going back and will spread the word about this place.
Rosalinda did not disappoint. The atmosphere is perfect. So cute with a little quirky but not in your face about it. The Chilequilas (spelling is probably way off) we’re amazing as was the French toast. I went with an Omni friend and she loved it too. Highly reccomend!
