Service was incredibly slow. Normally it is not. The food was excellent as always.
We had dinner after the opera and it was wonderful....a perfect ending to a lovely day. I had been to Rosebud Prime before but my friend had not and he loved it. Our waiter Chris was awesome!! He was friendly, attentive and provided great recommendations. Our meal was superb and the wine was fantastic!! We will definitely be back!!!
Amazing experience and food was so good especially the eggplant salad m. Our waiter was also exceptional
Amazing time, great food, great service. 10/10 would recommend again
Steak tastes wonderful! Had a great chat when waiting for my table. It's great to have business dining there.
Food was excellent. Service attentive. One pet peeve- the server picked up our check while we were still sitting there. I rarely see that done and felt that implied he wanted us out or wanted to see his tip - which was generous for what it's worth. And we were out in an hour. Not fitting for a place like that.
Excellent post-theater dinner. Shrimp cocktail, lamb lollipops, wedge salad, “petite” filet, grilled asparagus, mashed potatoes - all delicious. All appetizers and sides shared among four people with assistance of excellent staff. Service was top notch. Pretty pricey but worth it for a special occasion!
What a great restaurant. Our server was amazing jay made a good night even better.
Outstanding service by our super waiter, Tim. Although pricey, the food was exceptional. Overall a great dining experience.
Overall we had a great dinner. There were a few things that could be better. We started at the bar. Our 1st round of cocktails were great. Once we were seated we had a crispy eggplant salad which was huge and delicious. It was big enough to share with the 3 of us. They brought bread to the table and it was not super fresh or tasty. 2 of us ordered the special which was an 8oz filet Oscar. It was recommended to order it medium rare which we did but it came out closer to medium. The steak, crab, and asparagus was very good. There was slightly too much béarnaise sauce but nothing terrible. The 3rd person ordered the bone in ribeye medium rare and it was perfectly cooked and delicious. We all shared the brussel sprouts which were amazing. I ordered a Moscow Mule as my second drink but would not recommend it. It was lacking flavor. We ended the night with 3 desserts that we shared. We had the brownie sundae (amazing), key lime pie (delicious, the raspberry drizzle was a bonus) and the coconut cake (a little on the dry side). Our server was great, very informative and attentive. Outside of a couple of details we had a great meal.
I fill out everything you ask for I don't want to say any thing more but unless U do this you don't get to see my reviews. This should be fixed so you can get the stars with out taking all my time to write this stuff that I have already said. There that 50 words
Wanted to celebrate New Years eve without all the "craziness." So I chose a restaurant I knew, was nearby and I could get a reservation at a reasonable time. The place was very festive with decorations and the customers. The best part was the surprise special menu which was an incredible value: $85 for a four-course meal with excellent options! For appetizers you could choose 2 from 4 including a shrimp cocktail, bacon-wrapped scallops, a "lollipop" lamb chop (I forget the 4th). Then Lobster bisque or a choice of salads. Main courses included 2 cuts of steaks, a fish and (sorry... forget the 4th again.) We had steaks and they were accompanied by mashed potatoes and asparagus. Dessert? Cheesecake or Key Lime pie. We were stuffed and took some of the steaks home. Our meals were great as was the service. But anyone who is familiar with the Rosebud restaurants knows that a steak and sides will easily run about $60-$70.... So this was a great value and an enjoyable evening.
Been a while since I dined here. Liked the service and attention by staff. They do know how to handle a request for well done, which is how my spouse likes her filet. But my halibut was a bit over done...still good though.
Theatre and dinner with my son
Food was phenomenal. Our waiter Timothy was exceptional. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
This was my first time at Rosebud Prime. Delicious food, I expected the prime rib to be excellent and was delighted with the yummy brussels sprouts. Everything was as hoped, and the service impeccable.
Fabulous service and food! Accommodating re: seating for person with hearing impairment (requested to be seated in quieter section) and person with mobility issues. Have been to 'Rosebud on Rush' and this was even better. Some Rosebud classics on the menu plus many other options. Thoroughly enjoyed a post-theater meal. YUM!!
Great service and always friendly.
Good food and enjoy the live music.
Intimate setting, outstanding wait staff, delicious food.
Food was very good and service was OK We will come back again.
We dined at Rosebud before attending Hamilton. Location is very convenient to the theater and our parking. When making the reservation, we noted that we had a show to catch so unlike another reviewer, we had no issue. In fact, we had plenty of time to spare. From the minute we arrived, the staff made sure to let us know that they would make sure we’d enjoy our meal including have time for dessert before heading to the theater. They delivered! Gina, our server was gracious and attentive, and took the time to explain items on the menu. Our guests were a little surprised about the prices but they discovered that everything served was prepared well and delicious. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience. Perfect combination with our theater outing!
Reservations at 5 for theatre at 6:30. Barely made the show. Too expensive a dinner to have to rush to eat it in 10 min. No sense of urgency or timing. Too bad.
Our waiter was a true professional. Great recommendations and exceptional service.
Food was fantastic. Excellent steaks, great cocktails and wine list.
Our waiter, Chris, was excellent. He instantly checked if we had theater reservations, gave us a time we should order by to be safe, and provided excellent recommendations on food. He was attentive without hovering and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Hector made our dinner experience extra special. He even took a selfie with us. We will definitely be back.
Great food and service and ambiance
We had a Christmas lunch for 4 - service was excellent, food delicious and overall ambience perfect! Great celebration.
My dinner highlight was the Brussell Sprout side...there were enough for 2 - 3 people and were some of the best I've ever had. Mushroom side was tastey and the Prime rib was very good. The bartender was awesome too. He found us a seat at the bar while we waited for our table and filled us in on the menu. Our waiter was attentive and accommodating.
We came here for a nice dinner before theatre. The atmosphere was perfect and the waitstaff professional. Unfortunately, the food wasn't enjoyable. Both our steaks were too salty and we didn't appreciate the bacon that was hiding in the creamed spinach. That should have been mentioned on the menu or by the waiter. In our opinion, the quality did not warrant the price and we will not return.
This was my second visit to Rosebud Prime. The first visit was fabulous. This visit was just okay. They did have a piano player but couldn't really hear it as it was so loud. Table selection here is critical. First visit, stand alone table near piano. This visit, squished into one of the "bench seat" tables that are so close together you can't have a conversation and hear everyone else's. As mentioned, can't hear the piano player. Food was just okay; Halibut was overcooked, scallops were good.
Service was fantastic. I can’t say enough about our server. It was our celebration for our engagement and he made it the special night it should be. The only negative was the prime ribs. Super tough, even though the steaks were rare (we asked for medium rare).
Although the food is good if a bit expensive, and the service was excellent, the noise level was too challenging. I’ll wait until summer and al fresco dining to return.
Suggestion: don’t make people mad by being overbearing in your survey demands
Our go to restaurant for our theatre series. The staff is so friendly and helpful when ordering for food issues.
It is always a delicious dinner.
I enjoyed my overall experience. The entire staff made my sister feel so special for her birthday.
We went to Rosebud Prime for a business lunch. The food and service were outstanding and the portions are substantial. The noise level is moderate and allows for easy conversation. The staff is attentive yet unobtrusive and does not interfere with conversation. I would recommend Rosebud Prime for lunch and for business meals without hesitation.
Excellent food and the best service we have ever had.
The wait service was good. The food was good. What ruined the entire experience is when we came back after our show to pick up our car and were scolded for not using the revolving door.
Meanwhile we sat and ate dinner for 1.5 hours while people went in and out of that same door without a word.
Again not so bad except when we were scolded - there was NOONE in the restaurant. It was 1030pm.
The valet even said the guy (whoever he was, waiter maybe) was a jerk....nice.
There are too many restaurants to have people treat you that way.
We won’t be back.
