This place was ok... I went here for breakfast and ordered the Norwegian Benedict for $22.00!
The dish itself was missing something. It was served with a generous portion of lox.. almost too much and it did. It come with any accompaniments.
The eggs were cold as was the lox which I was not impressed with. It also came with what appeared to be tiny pancakes again with no accompaniments.
Definitely not worth the price!
They offered a buffet breakfast however keep in mind this restaurant is located in a hotel so the selection was not great. Pastries, oatmeal, fruit and an omelet station. For $29.00 per person, I’d dine elsewhere.
The coffee was meh... at $4.50 it should be delicious! I can get a handcrafted coffee for less.
The service was ok. I did have to ask for water refills and I waited 10 mins for my check and the waitress was no where to be found. Someone else noticed I was done and took care of me.
Overall... I would not return. Ample selections, creative and flavorful dishes and good service are my minimum requirements.
If you are looking for a middle of the road breakfast buffet or a simple menu, this is the place for you.

Food was fantastic
Rosélyn has good potential. We have eaten breakfast there three times this year. The first time was a disaster. We paid over 60 for à la carte menu of two finger size slices of french toast. Service was pleasant but not very efficient. The second time we ate was perfect. We took the buffet menu and all went well. This time, our third time, we had a server who tried to be pleasant but was rather insulting. I could not find the station for berries for my cereal bowl. I asked him and he said he will bring it to me. After fifteen minutes he came with a small jar of Mayonnaise. I told him I wanted berries - he said "Oh sorry, it should be your accent - where are you from???" No accent will be a reason to confuse berries with mayonnaise -furthermore he had seen that we had taken the cold menu choice...I am a professor and have been teaching for 45 plus years and not a single student or colleague has told me that I pronounce berries the same way as mayonnaise...He seemed amused and happy with himself - we were not amused.

I love the breakfast buffet. Great selection!
The food was good, I went with a friend who was visiting from US and she was very pleased with the atmosphere and the menu. Out table was near to the window with a beautiful view. The waitress was very nice and suggested a very delicious dessert. The only down side was the person who brought our food told me my dish was vegetarian and in reality there was crab in the pasta. I exchanged it with my friend (as she is not vegetarian) and we solved the problem. Overall I would recommend the place for people who like to dine on a quiet and pleasant place.

Food was outstanding but I would have like to see a selection of wines as amazing. Wines were not very impressive, except for the most expensive ones. I don’t think it’s necessary to have 3 Sauvignon blancs by the glass and that many Oaky California Chardonnay. Just my perception though.. Breakfast buffet was great too!

We were pleasantly surprised by our meal, having come to have only moderate expectations for many meals in hotels, including the high end restaurants. We enjoyed a dozen oysters with a very good mignonette, salads, and fish as main courses. Everything was prepared well, service was timely and the server pleasant and helpful. My partner had lunch there the next day as well and was well satisfied with the food and the service. I booked our reservation there on our arrival day, thinking mainly of convenience but we were rewarded with a very fine meal as well.

For a Montreal Fairmont restaurant I was expecting a better level of service and food quality especially for the prices they charge.

The restaurant was vibrant for an early evening rainy Friday dinner crowd. The tables were bare except for the place setting, but the bar was quite full and energetic. The server was extremely attentive and helpful with a navigation of the simple menu. The wine choice was also recommended and was a glass from a local vineyard that was a little pricey at $22CDN for a 9 oz serving. The main serving of pan seared halibut was properly done, but not spectacular. In contrast, the mousse with chocolate and almond foam was a tasty treat to cap off the meal. Overall, with Montreal's vast culinary choices, Roselys provided a nice dinner that was made by the service. However, at $112CDN for a salad, main, dinner, a 9 oz glass of wine and tip, it does come at a moderate cost.

From start to finish, the service was excellent. Our special request was met and the hostess was tactful and acknowledged the special needs of one of our party.
However, the ambience and food quality were disappointing. I noticed stains on some of the empty chairs at other tables. The marble tabletops were loud when plates were moved. Finally, the savory finger foods were just okay; they were a bit small and lacked complexity. One of them had a bread on the bottom and it was too dry.
What saved it was the perfect scones, well executed sweets and the thick, rich Devonshire cream.
Overall, it seems that the second floor is in desperate need of renovation or a good deep clean of the upholstery and more fresh and substantial portions of the savoury dishes. We chose Rosely's because the menu sounded really interesting. It was, but in the end we were let down.

On doit donc "se crier" une conversation ce qui n'est pas approprié quand on souhaite parler de choses sérieuses... Le service, le chef, l'accueil, c'est très bien.
Lieu magnifique. Des plats intéressants haut de gamme pour le petit déjeuner. Hélas, les assiettes glaciales gâchent tout en refroidissant vite les plats succulents. Ce n'est pas digne ni du lieu ni du prix...

Our 2nd time at Rosélys turned into a nightmare ! Quite expensive Big seafood platter was executed in a very cheap way. Lobster was served as just a defrosted lobster meat from Costco-not a whole lobster cut in 2, calamari salad was far away from being tender and having some taste into it, grey crab meat wasn’t even fresh! The oysters were covered with a cheap black caviar imitation (why to do it at all?????) and the waiter was lying that it was a real caviar from a fish that he doesn’t remember a name😂
Ordered lamb to replace the non acceptable seafood platter and the lamb arrived hard as a rubber sole and absolutely tasteless! Terrible experience! We’ll never come back!👎

C’était très bien. Les scones et les desserts étaient délicieux Cependant, nous aurions apprécié plus de petits sandwichs et moins de fantaisie. Il manquait de petits sandwichs aux concombres. Quant au service, Jonathan a été impeccable. Nous avons passé un très bel après-midi.

The food was very lacklustre and in some cases quite disappointing. The best thing we ate were the oysters. Salad was soggy with too much dressing and where was the cheese? The petit gris appetizer was extremely salty and the grilled octopus was rubbery. The foie gras was overdone. As for the mains, we all had fish. Both the walleye and the COD were under seasoned and under whelming. The best part of the evening was our very helpful and ever present waiter.
