Bonne expérience en général. À recommander comme restaurant. Personnel accueillant.
Maître d’hôtel très médiocre, nourriture ordinaire, œufs trop cuits
Bad experience and food. They did not have enough bread for the customer (we were there for breakfast) no white bread no wheat bread. The coffee was not hot!! We will not go back. Sadly we were celebrating my mother’s 85 birthday.
Very disappointed. Ate breakfast there the day before, excellent service and meal. On this occasion waited 10 minutes before being approached, 5 minutes longer for coffee. Breakfast came, no toast, asked server for toast, nothing came. Ate most of meal, cold toast came when finished, waited 25 minutes for bill. Not the experience I would expect as a guest of the very fine hotel.
Great seafood platter and excellent service despite the very busy night. Noise levels a little too high, but quieted down after about an hour.
Food was excellent as expected, but service was comparable to a truck stop diner.
Good average for the price and the reputation of Roselys
I had an avocado scrambled egg sandwich the avocado tasted funny !
Really enjoyed the experience overall and despite a lot of customers you were able to have a conversation without struggling to hear the other person. Very nice ambiance and decor and will definitely recommend to all my colleagues.
Server should point out that bread offered at table is not complimentary but rather comes at a $9 surcharge. Disappointing.
Very disappointing and definitely not worth the price. The food was good but the service was awful and inattentive for it not being very busy on a Sunday night. Don't waste your money here when there are so many great options nearby. We went because it was a cold night and we were staying in the hotel but it was a real disappointment.
Excellent food and service but $$$$. A bit noisy but the ambiance was very good.
The food was excellent, except for the risotto - just a bit offé
After 2 years, the breakfast at Rosély is still good and the service outsanding. My go-to place for Business breakfasts.
Really fantastic lunch. Fantastic salad and superb service.
Amazing food, great ambiance, incredible experience.
Merci
This place was recommended online as a great place to go for brunch. Went with a group of eight on a Saturday morning. The service was incredibly slow, they messed up our orders and the food was not that great. Totally overpriced for what we got. Would definitely not recommend it and won’t be going back.
Excellent seafood platter. Great service and loved the jazz music.
Rosélys is simply one of the best restaurants in Montreal, our go-to for a special night out.
Not our first time. Always a fantastic experience.
The waiter wasn’t very friendly, dry and always in a hurry. Could not recall the prices on the menu so charged us more on the bill and forgot little things like bringing water and ketchup when asked.
Food was normal, for the price I paid I was expecting a better (presentation, taste, value)
Yummy. Food and service were both excellent.
Service person was extremely attentive & helpful.
Excellent food suggestions from staff, discretion, noce table with a lovely view on a historic building of Montreal.
Waiter forgot to put in my flat white so it was delayed, forgot to pick it up so it was stone cold when it got to me, forgot to put in our food orders so the mains were delayed, and then had the audacity to ask if we still wanted the desert order since the food was late. If the food wasn't delicious I'd be livid.
Coffee cold and terrible- needed replacement- very slow service- arrived 1:10- dining alone- main course spaghetti arrived 2:20 pm and cold- had to take to go as someone waiting for me- many others received food before me- very disappointing- sometimes food / service here excellent but last 2 times both poor
Good hotel restaurant. Food is good and well done, but you don't go there to be surprised by it . You can find more imaginative restaurants in Montreal for same price.
Excellent service, nourriture délicieuse. Le prix du vin est assez élevé.
Horrible service - Lack of attention to detail
The order placed, coffee was served and the waiter left not to be seen for the next 7 minutes - No cream; no teaspoon. Upon his return with my mother's tea, I requested cream - the waiter disappeared for 5 minutes. I had to flag him from another table to request AGAIN cream - he grabbed a creamer from the central island and the waiter returned several minutes later with cream (clean container?). The coffee was cold and an exchange was requested. The waiter plucked a coffee cup from a tray on the island, looked inside - judged it was clean and served my coffee. Forgot the teaspoon - flagged down again. The coffee was bitter and warm (served from a carafe).
The Canadian Breakfast was lacklustre, not served hot, the fresh fruit included two pieces of honeydew melon. At 29$ before tax and tip - a true disappointment for the ambiance, the Queen Elizabeth and for two adults excited to go out to eat Post-Covid. Won't recommend, won't be back, scratched the Jazz Seafood night off of our bucket list.
Don't mind paying when the venue, the service and the meal are up to par.
They were not.
Ordered crepes- small, cold, expensive- had arranged special brunch with friend- disappointed with table, service and food- also much too expensive for small crepes - poor experience overall
Breakfast: Despite very low occupancy, service was sketchy. Waiter seemed distracted & food took forever. After 45 minutes of waiting, had to leave as I had a meeting & my guest was left on his own. The whole ordeal took around 50 minutes & still no service, no food! Advice: make sure to tell the waiter that you are extremely rushed.
One of the best place in Montreal for a Sunday brunch.
