I took my friend there for her birthday and requested a cake or cupcake for her birthday multiple times ie in the comments section, I called and asked and I even got there early and asked the hostess but she never got back to me. Our waiter was nice but disappeared and did not settle our bill. The food was good but overall, I did not enjoy the experience. We went upstairs to Valerie for drinks which was a more appropriate setting with better service.

First time at this restaurant. We had high expectations but it ended up being very mediocre .1st issue is that we got a call from the restaurant while we were on the way down there to inform us that complementary parking is full and we gotta find somewhere else to park .I picked this restaurant specifically for its location and advertised provided parking as we went to BMO field after dinner .So that was 1st disappointment as parking is already crazy at that location with CNE ,FC game and Ontario Place events going on.So we were scrambling to find parking and rush to get to a restaurant in order not to loose our reservation. Once at the restaurant, service was a little bit all over the place .Even though our server was very nice ,he was not aware of certain items on the menu that they run out of.There was some miscommunication regarding when mains and appetizers were coming out and when food did come ,food was okay .Our table wasnt cleared much as well . Feel like they could have paid a little bit more attention to the details and their guests.Our coffees and dessert ( banana pudding) were very nice though! If i could add a suggestion for the restaurant.There were only 2 washrooms available so at one point ,there was literally a line up to use a bathroom .I feel like for the size of the place ,more bathrooms should be available for the guests .

Overall, a very good place. Ordered a few appetizers and they were excellent. The place was brightly lit and could have had a better vibe if it was a little darker inside. Service was great.

The bar was extremely busy so our food came out before our drinks did. We did complain and the manager did comp our drinks when they finally came out. Happy that they resolved the issue to our liking. Food was great.

The food is terrible but the service was good. Our waiter Ricky was kind and made up for the bad food. My husband had the bone-in chicken parm and it was beyond dry and tasteless. The lobster roll was the best item but I didn’t like the bacon on it. Who puts bacon on a lobster roll?

Spent 2 hours to get to the Hotel X only to be turned away from the parking because the parking was full, at 5:15pm! Sent our friends in to be seated at our reserved table while my husband and I drove 10 minutes away to find parking. 3 of the dinners ordered were fine but my chicken was bone dry. Nothing, not even the sauce could help it taste better. The driest chicken I’ve ever tried to eat. Salmon was perfect, fish tacos were perfect and so was the beef dip. Overall it was a ‘just OK’ dinner. After seeing Blue Rodeo we needed to get to our car so we hired 2 rickshaws for the 4 of us and for them to get us the distance away we were parked ended up costing $80 for EACH rickshaw plus $40 for parking. So we spent $200 on parking for a meal that cost my husband and I $160. Not happy campers and will never bother eating at Roses Social again, and will never recommend to any or our friends.

An upscale restaurant for delicious handhelds (e.g. lobster roll, burgers) and other simple meals (e.g. steak frite, salmon) with an interesting cocktail menu and tequila flights. Roses is close the Budweiser Stage so my wife and I like to dine there before a concert. We also find it convenient to park at Hotel X (in which Roses Social is located on the 2nd floor). It's about a 15 min walk to the Budweiser Stage from Roses.
