   The wine list is disappointing. We ordered a Caesar Salad - Specifically asked if the dressing has anchovies - NO , said our server. After one bite I realized there was plenty of anchovies . . When I called our server back he said will inquire with the chef, and then added probably yes to anchovies, excepted that they are pre mixed in the dressing. We send the salads back. Hoping the porterhouse for two will save the evening. The quality of the meat was disappointing !! The cooking didn’t help. I erroneously booked Royal 35 based on a Michelin star. I wonder how they were awarded a Michelin star… Terribly disappointing night ! I apologized to my wife for booking poorly.

   Very good food with excellent, friendly and attentive service. Good atmosphere. We were kindly offered a cheesecake on the house and although not my favorite dessert it was actually amazing ! A much better and more welcoming experience than most of the more popular steakhouses in Manhattan. Definitely recommended.

   This is by far the BEST steakhouse in NYC. Cocktails delicious. Wine list extensive and servers knowledgeable how to pair. Professional, friendly, service that is at once attentive and discreet. In other words, you never know they are there until you need them. When they are there, nothing but professional and accommodating. The steak was PERFECT. Salad: they made it so we could share. The sides are to die for. They also prepared a special fresh fruit dessert with fresh whipped cream for us that wasn't on the menu. Overall: the VERY BEST steakhouse experience I have had in NYC. I've been to them all... Wolfie's, Gallie, Keenie, Double, Bennies, etc...Royal 35 is MY go to place for luxury, steak and great times!

    Nice restaurant, which was pretty empty on Wednesday night. The food was really good, but not better than at other steakhouses such as Wolfgang‘s or Del Frisco‘s. Wine list is good, but bottled wine is too expensive. They charge about 4x on a bottle compared to Retail pricing, which is too much. We landed on an open Cab which did the job. My suggestion is to rethink this pricing strategy. Cocktail was great. Service was good as well, we‘ve been talen care of well. Unfortunately the restroom situation is not at a level where it should be. IMy wife and I only found one small room that was shared with the whole restaurant. no paper towels available at first sight, I found some extra ones on a shelf. Here I think the owners should think of a better solution.

    This is one of m favorite haunts in New York. The ambiance is very nice, the staff are attentive and the food and service are excellent. This is a very beautiful and fairly quiet place that is great for a business dinner or romantic evening. The menu is diverse among steak, seafood and salads and the drinks are awesome.     I had read all good reviews and the restaurant has received many awards, so I had high expectations. The service was not terrible but definitely not on par for a high-priced steakhouse. It felt like everyone who worked there last was there for the first time. The food was average, and the bill was sky high. The night was enjoyable because I was with a good friend, but I won't return, and I definitely would not recommend it.

    Great menu selection for great steak experience. For appetizer, we had the chilled shellfish platter, which consisted of humongous black tiger shrimp cocktails, oysters, a Maine lobster. All cooked to perfection. Everything was amazing.

    Ich war als Tourist in New York und wollte ein perfektes amerikanisches Steak. Und das war genau das, was ich bekommen habe. (New York Cut) Der Service war sehr freundlich und schnell. Ich bin wiederholt und von mehreren Kellnern gefragt worden, ob alles in Ordnung sei. Das habe ich als sehr angenehm empfunden. Zum Steak hatte ich ein Glas Rotwein, welches eine Empfehlung war. Das hat gut gepasst. Die Rechnung war schon üppig, das scheint aber für New York normal zu sein. Zum Abschluss habe ich noch einen sehr großzügigen Drink auf Kosten des Hauses bekommen. Ich bin sehr zufrieden nach Hause gegangen.

    Excellent quality steaks and cocktails. Have been there a few times the past year for business and the experience and food has been consistently good each time. Nice steakhouse ambiance and not too noisy. Service has also been above standard on each visit.

    Very nice experience, we had a porter house for two, beef term couldn’t be more perfect, very tender piece of meat, Server provided an excellent service he even offered the dessert for free, it was a cheesecake slide that was just delicious.! Definitively I will come back..!

    Excellent steaks and sides and the service was excellent. The aged beef really stacked up very well compared to other more well known steak houses. It’s really close to MSG and Penn Station so it perfect for pre/post game eats. The Staff was friendly and offered impeccable service. The Porterhouse for two is enough for 3/4 people to share if you are getting starters, etc. We took a lot of steak home but are looking forward to having left-overs the next few days. I’d consider this one of NYC’s “best kept secrets”.

    No me arrepiento de a ver visitado este lugar, un lugar maravilloso y muy fino 💪🏻 no se permiten gorras 🧢, así que como yo no sabía se me indicó a la hora de entrada y seguí las intrusiones y el trabajo fue igual que desde el principio muy atentos 🙏 me encantó ‘ sobre todo intentaron hablarnos un poco en español para poder entendernos ! Pero entre todo fue la mejor experiencia 🙏 no hablo del precio porque cuando es por calidad se paga un buen plato así que me lleve lo mejor de ese restaurante 🙏 y como fui a celebrar el aniversario nos dieron un postre y 2 copas de vino moscato 😍

    They put us upstairs in a room that had nothing on the walls and ambiance was nonexistent. The waiter poured a beer into the glass like it was water and it was all foam. The steak was excellent and the food came out fast though. All in all, the food was excellent but we were disappointed with where we were seated and the waiter had no personality.
