   Nice location, but that could be made so much better. Hope they reinvest some of the profits soon to make the much needed updates. Food was just OK, no daily specials; service was decent.

   Horrible food, our waiter barely listened to us, when we told him the food s was bad he said ok! And walked away. Sunset was very pretty but there are a million places in Maui with a great view that have good service and food also. Skip this place & find a restaurant in whalers village

   We had an amazing sunset dinner last night. We got a bottle of Prosecco, the charcuterie board, the seafood linguine and the seared tuna. All were amazing and the server was so sweet! The only thing was I wish when they brought out the bottle of Prosecco they had a chill bucket to keep it cold because it was room temperature the last couple glasses from sitting in the sun. Overall a great experience and we will definitely be back! Thank you for such a great dinner!

   This restaurant has good live music in a covered outdoor setting that faces the ocean. The food and service are both good. During our visit, two of the sunshades were not working and this reduced the number of tables that were available in the shade. Please fix the sunshades.

   The food and waitstaff were both very underwhelming for a restraint at that price point. I considered leaving during the actual meal because the food was so lackluster, and our waiter was terse and abrupt. It was the least pleasant meal I had on Maui.

    Fabulous atmosphere. Saturday night entertainment was great. The singer had a beautiful voice and provided some Hawaiian history. After dinner, stayed to listen to the singer and enjoy the views.

    Food is overrated, flavour is missing. The service is done in such a haste our starters were sitting on the table when our main got delivered, and the server was asking us to pick the cutlery up so he does not need to bring a fresh pair of cutlery. Such a beautiful setting but absolutely bad service.

    We requested to sit inside and they sat us inside and we ended up getting sunburned. The food was okay. The manager came over and took our check but never told our server so our card went missing for like 20 minutes and no one could tell us where it was.

    Not impressed with the good either night we had reservations. The prices were very high for the lack of quality. Tried again with the barbecue buffet, the corn on the cob was mushy, the pork was like you could buy in a tub and microwave. The only highlight was the strawberry shortcake. The guitar player was good but OBVIOUSLY LOUD you couldn’t have any conversation or hear the waiter. With a party of 6 the waters know they are getting a guaranteed tip so they don’t even try to provide good service.

    The seafood linguini plate had clams in it. That was not a listed on the menu ingredient and I asked the server prior to ordering what type of fish were in it and was told it was mahi and shrimp which it also says on the menu. Clams is something I do not eat and changes the taste of every dish.

    Service was spotty at best. Server tried but was split thin and could not be attentive. Rest of house did not help. Unfortunate. Will not go back. Only highlight was desert was really good.

    The Waiter did not have extensive knowledge of the menu therefore he could not answer questions .. We had an 830 pm reservation a lil was going well. The music ended and everything was winding down. The servers and manager began bringing in chairs and tables inside the building as it was close to end of night. Soon we ended up being the only table on the floor while they walked around our table. They crossed the line when they took 2 of our chairs from our table while we were eating. It gave the feeling of hurry up and get out. It ruined a pleasant dinner on the last night of our trip.

    We were here last year and really liked it so brought our family back last night. I was completely embarrassed as the food was awful. We had the buffet - I will not be back and won’t be recommending this place. Also, check your bill - they added 18% gratuity (for a large part - there were 4 adults and a toddler and baby - that is not a large group) then on the non-itemized bill there was a spot for an additional tip. A gin and tonic was 20.00 - that is highway robbery.

    Stayed at this hotel and had breakfast and late evening meal. Food was good, service was good and you can't beat the oceanfront ambiance. A bit pricey, but no more than any other eating establishment in the island!

    The food was bad I ordered a medium rare steak and it was cooked well done to the point it was almost burnt. My wife’s pasta said it was a shrimp pasta but only had one piece of shrimp in it and it was nasty. This was a huge waste of money

    Beautiful setting for watching a sunset. The guitar player took over and made it difficult to talk during dinner. He was too loud and not the reason people were there Told them I was allergic to prawns/shrimp, they put it in the Linguine anyway, never mentioned pasta was in a heavy cream sauce, never included a spoon. Hard to find server to correct the problem until end of meal.
