   Best brunch in all of Vancouver! Food is healthy and fantastic. It's quite noisy inside the restaurant so if you are with someone hard of hearing be mindful.

   Pricey food for the amount given, I got the berry bowl which was basically a thin layer of smoothies with 6 slices of banana, 6 slices of strawberry, some blueberries and a few pieces of frozen banana (for a staggering $18). Server was hard to get. Automatic tip set at minimum 18%.

   I went with my daughter for Mother's Day & then again the following week for my friend's birthday. The falafel waffle is AMAZING! Service was really awesome too, we had the same server both weekends. Thank you Wenna!

   Ruex is the best thing to ever happen to Surrey. You just need to go. I’ve experienced it for brunch and dinner multiple times and still can’t decide what one I prefer.

    I recently brought my family to Ruex Cafe and Bar for Mother's Day and we had an excellent experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff and seated promptly. The restaurant's atmosphere is stylish and modern, with a chic decor that creates a welcoming and cozy vibe.   The menu at Ruex Cafe and Bar is extensive and diverse, with something for everyone. My mother is a foodie and was particularly impressed with the range of vegetarian options available. We ordered a variety of dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and dessert—everything was delicious. The ingredients were fresh and high-quality, and the presentation was impeccable.   The service at this restaurant was also excellent. Our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. She made excellent recommendations and went out of her way to ensure that we were enjoying our meal. We felt very well taken care of throughout our visit.   Overall, I would highly recommend Ruex Cafe and Bar for any occasion. The restaurant has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, exceptional food, and top-notch service.

    Had an amazing Mother’s Day brunch! Amazing food, amazing service, amazing ambiance. We tried a variety of dishes and loved every single one. This local restaurant definitely deserves the five-star review. What really stood out to me was how accommodating they were towards my little toddler. He loved his avocado toast and berry smoothie. THANK YOU. We can’t wait to be back to try the dinner menu!

    I’ve been to Ruex a few times and it’s always been a great experience both food and service wise. Our recent visit was a bit disappointing. When we dined there for brunch, the service and food was good so we ordered something to take home. When we got home, we noticed our order was incomplete and immediately called back. We had to drive back the restaurant and when we got there, no one was apologetic about the mistake and we didn’t even get a new order replaced. The kitchen simply gave us our missing piece (we ordered a pork belly Benedict and they forgot the pork belly) and that was it. We left feeling unheard and quite frankly, really disappointed.

    I've been to Ruex a few times now and have thoroughly enjoyed my experience each time. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful and the food is some of the best that I've had. Also, the restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. I've been waiting for a restaurant like this to pop up in Surrey for a long time!

    Reux never disappoints, got the strawberry rhubarb waffles and they were amazing - and the latte I had with them was one of the best I’ve had. So few nice, upscale, non-chain restaurants in the area so Reux is an awesome addition to the area

    We are so glad Surrey finally has an amazing and unique restaurant like Ruex. From the staff, the interior design, the menu and the service - everything is top-notch. We had a wonderful experience dining here for brunch. We were seated promptly, service was efficient and the food was delicious. We had the brekkie burger and eggplant omelette and highly recommend them! Can’t wait to go back and try new items from their unique menu.

    Nice little cafe, but shocked at the prices. Cocktails were overpriced, and the hot drinks were tiny in a glasses….considering they were Starbucks prices. Food was okay, nothing astounding, pretty basic. Although the Bimibap was very nice and flavourful, for an extra $7 you can add chicken which again was tiny with no flavour. The hype is well exaggerated, I will not be going again. Location is not great either

    Mentioned it was anniversary when booking but Ruex did not bother about it. Cauliflower bites was good. Miso salmon was way too sweet. Cocktails quantity could have been more.

    Ruex is my favourite brunch place in all of Metro Vancouver. The food is amazing. No plate has the same flavour. Everything is so well curated and thought out. I recommend sharing a few plates with friends instead of just getting one dish for yourself. That way you can try all the flavours they have to offer.
