Christian and Charles took excellent care of us from cocktails, suggestions, and bringing a “Ruffino Shawl” when my Granddaughter was feeling cold - a tablecloth wrapped around her shoulders. Everything was cooked perfectly to our requests and everyone enjoyed every bite. Thank you!

Ruffino's on the River did an amazing job of helping our daughter celebrate her 16th birthday. Charles and Braxton took care of us, and we never had to ask for anything. Trust the specials! Our duck breast and lamp chops were perfectly cooked. We will definitely be back for our next special celebration.

Very nice experience. Seated promptly, servers were everywhere and extremely nice. My entree was Fish Katie (Redfish this day), a substantial bronzed filet, perfectly seasoned and grilled just right covered with real LA jumbo lump crabmeat all set in a Creole meunière drizzled with hollandaise, with mashed potatoes. Never had a better similar fish dish. The only weak link was the mashed potatoes, very ordinary and served lukewarm.

It was the best dinner that we have had a restaurant in a long time. We both thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, and was very impressed with the service that we received. It was our first visit at this restaurant, but we will definitely be back.

The vibes were amazing! Couldn’t have asked for better service! The appetizer we ordered was the shrimp special of the night and there was barely any shrimp in the dish and tasted more like corn bread wish we would’ve have gotten that one.

Yet again, a fantastic experience! My wife and I ate here on our anniversary last year and your team went out of the way to make it a great time. This year we brought my mother and wife for mother's day. So here is my review. 1. Easy to make reservations. 2. Table was ready early. 3. Staff was friendly, considerate, and took time to make small talk. 4. Our waiter took time to explain the menu to my little girl and my elderly mother 5. Portions are outstanding. 6. Drinks did not disappoint. 7. Not boxed reheated meals like most restaurants; you can see the food getting cooked. 8. Even with the large crowd, we were treated like it was just our table. 9. Clean restrooms and clean restaurant overall. 10. The grounds outside are fantastic for walking off the meal and desert. Thanks again!

From check in to check out, we couldn’t have been more pleased. Our server immediately approached our table with fresh bread and continued to visit our table offering special pairings and fresh drinks, etc. We had a guest from Mississippi with us and each time she visits, Ruffino’s is our choice of restaurant. We loved our dining experience at Ruffini’s! We stayed in Lafayette for one night while on a road trip. We decided to give Ruffini’s a try and we were not at all disappointed. The service was amazing… friendly, professional, helpful wait staff. My husband loved the cedar planked red fish. I chose the eggplant parm. Great food, service, drinks and ambience all were top notch. And , they offered a surprise after our meal. Not wanting to be a spoiler, check it out and get your own after dinner surprise!

Dinner was outstanding. A friend tried the corn and crab bisque and raved about how delicious it was - the best he had ever eaten. Each of the three of us had different entrees and each of us was completely satisfied. My redfish plank was delicious. I definitely recommend Ruffino's on the River!

Beautiful restaurant. Dinner was excellent. Service was off a bit. Great service and then no one for awhile. Not sure if they were busy doing other things. I would recommend.

Was celebrating our Anniversary and was 😞 that Happy Anniversary wasn't written on our plate. It's petty I know...our waitress was great as well as the bartender. Food was great as well

The sauce on the pork chop was the best thing I’ve ever eaten at any restaurant. The servers were knowledgeable and helpful. I keep thinking about that sauce though. Is the amount of butter that makes it so good? My husband kept going on and on about the fish and how good it was. And I’m sure it was, but he changed his tune right quick when I made him try a bite of pork chop, mashed potatoes and the sauce. We quit hearing about the fish.
