   Tortellini carbonara is supposed to have a yolk on top. This dish the egg was over cooked - it was a hard boiled egg. Ordered a pear and walnut salad with no dressing and it was drenched in dressing. Service was horrible. Not busy and server was not attentive. It’s a shame, the restaurant could be so much better. I’ve heard from others, too, that the service is horrible, I concur.

   My girlfriend had terrible reflux from the Lobster Ravioli and my Chicken Parm was a bit undercooked in thicker portions of the chicken.

   The restaurant is in a lovely setting. However, the food lacked flavorand was quite pricey. Dinner for eight without dessert and with a few appetizers was $420.00 pre-tip. I am okay with spending money for a good meal, but the food theme amongst eight dishes was BLAND. The pasta was overcooked, soggy, and had no taste. The winners were the calamari, cavatelli with meatballs, and fish. The chicken dishes were dry, and the veal was rubbery calamari salad had zero zip, and the squid ink pasta was overcooked. The cocktails were nothing special. Our waitress and busboy were both pleasant and proficient. I'd rather have smaller portions with more excellent flavor than large tasteless dishes. Sorry but you need to layer flavors and watch cooking times.

    We were promptly seated. Immediately given water and bread. Server came over took our drink order. Discussed the specials. He took our appetizer order, while we reviewed dinner options. Ordered baked clams. Menu stated they were little neck, they weren’t. They were large clams. However, they were still good. We are seafood lovers and wished they had more seafood appetizers options (I.e. grilled octopus, seafood salad, oysters, etc). Dinner was delicious! Chicken parm was tender. Fish entrees were fantastic and tasty!! Our Server was fantastic, always checking in. We were never felt rushed. Food was delicious!! Will definitely return.

    Overall, it’s a great place. The wait staff is usually young and inexperienced. In this economy, the scarcity of workers is everywhere. I can’t fault the restaurant. Reasonably priced, it’s a great value. The portions allow for another meal the next day!

    Seating was perfect for 5 people. Service was friendly, consistent, on point. Variety of specials; drinks, food. My family has enjoyed Ruggero’s numerous times. We always come back for more! Perfect location, great shops to enjoy also at the Shoppes at East Wind.

    Service was impeccable, aside from the place being super packed! Food was very amazing! Calamari super fresh and crispy, meatballs surprisingly soft and delicious and the mozzarella pieces, best we ever had. Price was super fair. Would highly recommend Ruggero’s to all my friends!!

    Reservation for six and the wait staff was very engaging and courteous. Fried calamari appetizer and the salads were very good. Food arrived slowly and was luke warm which was really disappointing. Shrimp Fra Diavolo was off putting because of the temperature and the amount of onions in the sauce. Since it was warm, the additional seafood was rubbery. There were also 4 of 7 unopened clams that should’ve been removed before serving. Mussel dish was similar with temperature. Not sure if our table was just forgotten about or if this is just a hitch in the kitchen.

    We celebrated my daughter’s 13th birthday here last night and it was perfect! I wish I could remember our server’s name because he was so nice, professional and knowledgeable. It was a beautiful celebration.

    We have visited this restaurant several times, and it seems that every time, there is a steady decline in service and food. This time, we were told that the restaurant was out of bread. We waited an excessive amount of time for anyone to come take our drink order, and one drink never came. The pink sauce on the lobster ravioli was almost inedibly salty.

    Very very nice young people for waiters. Very unprofessional The young people cannot help it because they were not trained properly. I have been there several times and each time it gets more unprofessional… I would like it to be my neighborhood restaurant but it really can not because it does not make me happy.. The food was good . The bread was good. The cost was good. I just felt I was at McDonald’s. In the past I felt the restaurant tried to be more upscale. Very difficult getting my check. DO NOT even try to use A credit card. TO Use a credit card was an up charge and no one ever returned to take it so I just left cash which I am sure the restaurant prefers. It is a lovely location, a nice building, people know about it could be so much more. I believe East Wind caterers owns the restaurant but I am not sure.We had a wedding at East Wind and it was fabulous

    Worst dining experience ever. I get that restaurants are struggling to hire quality help so I’m usually patient. But the service we experienced at this restaurant was off the page horrible. We had the worst waiter ever , and he didn’t seem to care. We were in the restaurant for over two hours , it took 1/2 to get our first drink , and that was the only one , he never asked if we wanted another drink. We never were offered more water !! Needed to repeating beg the bus boy for water . The apps and entrees were all brought out separately, each one of us at at different time. A house manager or hostess repeatedly walked by and couldn’t be bothered to check on us either. I had to walk up twice at the end just to ask for the check , he finally brought it with out a word , never tried to offer any excuse for the poor service, clearly did t care . For the first time in my life I left a zero tip , before you yell at me about working people , I gave the hard working busboy , who repeatedly apologized, cash on the side. I will never return to this horrible place

    Unfortunately it's bad. Terrible food. Ceasar Salas with way too much dressing and stale, old anchovies. Entrees were dry and not remotely fresh. Worst chicken Parmigiano we ever ate.

    Food was average not much better than a diner. Shrimp Francaise was too bland and not enough lemon. Angel hair pasta was overcooked. Very loud even though restaurant was at 60% capacity. Too difficult to hear our waiter. Staff was too young and inexperienced given the price tag. Tables were uncomfortably too close together.

    The server was very pleasant and attentive, yet we had no idea that specials were available until we were leaving and read them on a sign in the entrance way. My carbonara was very thin and the egg was overdone. We ordered tiramisu for dessert and it was nothing more than custard, cookie and whipped cream- there was no mocha flavor at all. We stated as such and received a SLIVER of cheesecake to take home as compensation. Usually one of my favorite restaurants, but this was extremely sub par.
