Rumi's Kitchen - Sandy Springs
Rumi’s Kitchen - Sandy Springs draws influence from the culinary mother of the Middle East, Persia, which spanned from the banks of the Nile River in the west to the mountains of Northern India in the east, and from the shores of the Caspian Sea in the north to the deserts of Arabia in the south of the Persian Gulf.
Dinner: Monday - Thursday 4:00pm - 10:00pm; Friday 4:00pm - 11:00pm; Saturday 12:00pm-11:00pm; Sunday 12:00pm-10:00pm
We had to wait until 9 PM to be seated. The manager gave us a free appetizer which was nice and I eat at Rumi’s often because the food is so delicious, however, it would have been a better experience if we were seated close to our reservation time.
The food was great. The energy is awesome. Will definitely go back!!
Outstanding dining experience with consistently good food and service
Food was fantastic, never disappointing. I had the Soltani Kabob and it was just so good, meat was cooked perfectly. Great service, good for business lunches or a family dinner.
Always amazing! Enjoy the apps and then dive into any of plates. The Sea Bass is amazing!
Overall good experience. Service tends to be a bit slow. Food runners need to describe the options as they place them on the table—Can’t imagine that many people are so familiar with the cuisine that they would not appreciate an explanation.
Food is flavorful and interesting. Definitely a place we will return when you’re in the neighborhood
Great food and fun staff. Everything was better than expected - we will return again and again!
Had a reservation - we go there a bit. Sometimes great experience, a few times bad. You end up spending alot more time
Than you expect. We did have to wait a while for our table then we were
Seated at a high top with others - it had been empty a long time. The ac dripped on the table.
Anyhow we loved our server- that can make or break the situation. I had relatives in town once and the service was awful- we could not wait to leave. There were 8of us. I called a manager, and he offered dessert. I told him no thank you and he came back with “ you are going to deprive your guests...” what an insult- we were exhausted.
Food is always good.
The food was delicious with very large portions. On the down side it was very loud. I wouldn't say energetic, just loud. Also, I don't mind using a valet but they were very disorganized. Had to wait an extended period of time to get my car.
Heard about this place a lot and always raving about the food. I am usually very sceptical when everyone is happy. But in this case everyone is right-great service, fresh great food and atmosphere. A bit noisy, so be ready for a loud conversation. Overall just great. We will be back for sure.
Always an excellent choice. The food and vibe is great.
Rumi's is not what it use to be
They use to deliver great good and service, but lately they have a high turnover of employees and the food is not as tasty as it was. I say dine at your own risk. Good luck!
Excellent food and service.
Rumi’s Kitchen is by far one of the BEST restaurants in Atlanta! The food and the atmosphere are both amazing!!!
This is one of our favorites. Always great! This time we had 4 couples and chose to have have meal served family style. It was fantastic. We had four different entries (6 portions) and three different styles of rice. Everyone enjoyed the variety.
I went there with my friends. We tried lamb koobideh and lamb kabob as well as Persian ice-cream. I will definitely come back here If I go back to Atlanta one day. If not the best, it is one of the best Persian restaurants in the United States.
Appetizers were great. Lamb rack was overcooked though. Asked for rare and got medium well. I would give it another try.
Love this restaurant. Food was fantastic and the ambiance was even better. Perfect for a nice date night
Amazing food! Great service!! Family friendy!!!!
We were lucky enough to be seated outside on a lovely evening. The Lamb Ribs were the highlight of the meal. Great service!
Always have a great experience here. Food is always great and so is the service.
Food has gone down hill. Waiter too busy. More focus on turnover. Fish over cooked lamb shank bland and fatty.
This was our second visit to Rumi's Kitchen. This time we took another couple, people who are not particularly adventurous in their eating habits, and it was huge hit all around. Food was excellent, our server (Judy - probably a name anglicized from something else) was very helpful and there exactly when needed. The noise level is rather high, but bearable.
Consistently Good. We always enjoy ourselves at Rumi’s.
This is the very best restaurant in Sandy Springs!
Incredible meal, service, and atmosphere! Woman at Starbucks serving coffee said Sea Bass is phenomenal - it was!
Rumi's Kitchen has great food and a great atmosphere for many types of occasions!
Great food, great ambience and great Service. Will be most favorite restaurant
I had out in my reservation that we were celebrating a special birthday and nothing was ever mentioned. If you’re not going to respond don’t ask your customers.
As always the food and service was phenomenal.
Time and time again the waitstaff; particularly the females, are always in a bad mood. Love the food, and love manager, but most of the staff needs an attitide adjustment. If you hate your job, and have zero friendliness in your personality, find another job. We bring so many friends here for the their first time and most of them have been appalled by the staff’s rudeness.
Need more options for Vegans. I’m told time and time again, “Nope, can’t do that. Nope, can’t do that either” when you clearly have the ingredients in house. We are talking about a side of potatoes, nothing difficult.
Overall, the food was delicious. However, I ordered vegetable kebab which was supposed to include zucchini, yellow squash, mushrooms, onions and red peppers. I asked for no red peppers and instead to have extra zucchini or onions. When my plate came … All I had were zucchini and onions… No mushrooms, no yellow squash. Frustrating and disappointing! What I got was delicious, though.
Food didn't taste good at all!! l
Place was noisy and the service was poor!
This restaurant has such a great vibe. The bar area is gorgeous and conducive to having a first date conversation. The food is incredibly delicious! I had the Chilean Sea Bass and my date had the Lamb Kabob. The Bass was perfectly seared on the outside, and juicy, soft, and tender on the inside. The lamb was perfectly seasoned and had a great tender flavor to it. Coupled with a bottle of Meiomi Pinot Noir, it made for a great date and conversation!
Food was good as usual
Would've given all 5's with the exception that I made reservations at least 4 days in advance and asked not to be seated out on the floor in a high traffic area only to have a reserved table right in front of the waitress station by the bathroom. Service was outstanding and the food was very good.
Rumi’s never disappoints!! Only thing I would add is to be able to bring my own wine.
Food and environment were great, but the pricing is a little too high for what it is. Its basically just meat, veggies, and rice, but everything is priced like a filet mignon.
Everyone in our party was very impressed. Delicious food, interesting vibe, not too expensive nor too formal (could dress up or not and be fine either way).
