Welcome to Rumi's Kitchen - Sandy Springs! The premier Sandy Springs location for Persian Cuisine. Owner and Head Chef Ali Mesghali’s unique and flavorful touch has been wowing patrons for over 20 years. His previous restaurant, Persepolis, was a Sandy Springs favorite.

Rumi’s Kitchen - Sandy Springs draws influence from the culinary mother of the Middle East, Persia, which spanned from the banks of the Nile River in the west to the mountains of Northern India in the east, and from the shores of the Caspian Sea in the north to the deserts of Arabia in the south of the Persian Gulf.

Outstanding appetizers and entrees. The char-broiled sea bass, lamb rack and shish kabob were standouts at our table. The service was attentive and professional. Very very good meal!

Was there for a business lunch, food and service was amazing. Loved the ambiance. Would definitely go back there probably for a date night or dinner with the family.

First the good: the Dolmeh were outstanding. My husband had the lamb kabobs which he said was delicious and very tender. Our server was great. Now the bad: I don’t know if the menu is “dumbed down” for Americans but there was very little to choose from other than kabobs. My chicken dish was basically a grilled chicken breast and plain basmati rice. Very disappointing. I was talked out of the chicken kaboodeh(sp) by our server, said it wasn’t well liked by their guests. He suggested the chicken Graf which is what I ordered. It is extremely loud in there. Can hardly hear each other talking. The servers seemed to literally be throwing dirty dishes into a receptacle nearby. Every few seconds we had to deal with a huge crashing sound. We won’t be back.

I didn't think I liked Middle Eastern food, but I love Rumi's. Wonderful flavors, great ingredients, different cuisine from what you are used to. We did my daughter's birthday there, and they were very accommodating and everyone had a great time. If I have one criticism, it's that the restaurant gets pretty noisy when it is full. But, that is relatively minor compared to the great food experience.

This wasn't my first time there, but it was as good as it always is. Great liquor drinks and beer selection. Kabobs and appetizers were out of this world, and the sea bass was fantastic as well.

We had a reservation for 8:30pm, we had to wait until 8:50 to be seated. I was taking friends from out of town to experience the nice atmosphere of the restaurant, and the host gave us a table outside, in an attachment that was not as nice as the restaurant... I told the girl that took us to the table that we would prefer to seat inside and she said that we would have to wait for about 30 more minutes. It was a cold night and she said that they could turn on the patio heater for us. Later, when I asked our waiter to turn on the heater he said that the manager didn’t allow it because it was not cold enough. Our waiter was very good and nice, but the experience for my out of town guests was not what was I had in mind. We ended up eating out in a patio that was cold...

The food was wonderful and the service was great. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience. We will definitely go back! The only negative is that it is a little loud. Ask to be seated in the back left of the building. It is a little quieter there.

Food was overpriced on Valentine's day. Most dishes were not available and at a $75 per head is very bad value for money. The enteee of fish was not edible but the first 2 courses were great . Dessert was surprsingly bad for a persian reataurant. Baklava way too sweet.

The Valentines Day menu was pretty good. At first I was having second thoughts because I wasn’t aware that it was a set menu for that day. But it turned out great !!!

Totally overrated... food was large in size but was VERY underwhelming in taste. Restaurant was large, pretty, & is always busy, so we were really surprised at how mediocre the service & food was. Meh.
Would not go back.

Very trendy....good food and great service! Noise level is a little loud because the place is so big and holds a much larger crowd than their old location.
