Russell’s on Lake Ivanhoe was a great experience from the Valet,to the hostess, to the wait staff. This was our first time and we will definitely be going back. The place was semi-formal. Great place for date night. The food was great. I suggest either the pork chop or the tenderloin. Ask for Dylan! His service was top notch!

We had a wonderful time at Russell on Lake Ivanhoe last night. We all enjoyed our appetizers and everyone remarked that their food was delicious. The manager even sent us a map to get around road work near the restaurant. Highly recommended!

A very enjoyable experience. The food was very good and the service was excellent. We had a table-side Caesar salad that was one of the best restaurant prepared salads I have had in a long time and the pork chop was expertly prepared. We are looking forward to going back to the restaurant the next time we come to Orlando.

Burger was overcooked and flavorless. Fries cold and hard. Chicken sandwich on hard pitas was like airport fare! Won’t return. They don’t serve anything except brunch both Saturday and Sunday which was not clear from the menu here on OT, perhaps that food is ok. Regular menu starts with dinner at 5pm.

We have used this a restaurant a few times but last night it failed us. The restaurant was very quiet with only a few tables taken so no atmosphere. We were a table of 4 and 2 of us had the lamb chops. Unfortunately they were cold in the middle. We did bring this to the attention of our waitress who just apologized. We will not be returning

We were seated at one of the two bench tables in the bar. The next table over was a group having fun; but over the top loud. Three of us were very bothered; two not so much. Because the food and servicr were good. But, its amazing how a noisy patron or two can kill a diner’s ability to enjoy a meal. And, yes, I should have insisted we switch tables.

This place always disappoints. I ordered the lamb, it was not great at all. The sides were okay. They were hosting some big private event right in the main dining room where some guy gave a presentation about sustainability through our whole dinner- needless to say I won't be back. Such a weird vibe. It needs to go back to being an open air taco place.

This place never disappoints. Between the 3 of us, we had the Octopus, tuna and avocado salad, grilled double pork chop, creme brulee, and bread pudding. Everyone tasted everything, and everyone loved everything. Excellent service too. Even the parking attendant was a pleasure to deal with.

Friendly and inviting from the greeting we received from the valet to the manager, stopping by our table to the consistent attention to detail service received from o ur server. The Cheff and bartender where icing on the cake. Fabuluos atmosphere, freshly made to order food and refreshing cocktail. Finished of by an amazing view of the sunset on Lake Ivanhoe, and desert. Would recommend for any business, casual and celebratory occasion.

I love Russell's! I love the location - being able to watch the setting sun sky with ..or the kayakers on the water or the palm fronds over the windows. The inside is simple but inviting - like the bar area too bc of the view! The service is always excellent!. Friendly helpful smiling waitstaff. Wines and drinks are great- so too the appetizers ! The entrees are hit or miss. A couple of times, I hv got extremely salty or then rather tasteless food, but at other times, it's been perfect. In those few cases, the management has always worked with me though, to give me the best alternatives and experience I still love going to Russels on Lake Ivanhoe for an eveng meal!! (Not sure if they are open for lunch)

This was the second time that we visited Russell's on Lake Ivanhoe. The first time, we were impressed enough to invite a couple of foodie friends, and we were definitely not disappointed on our return. The food was absolutely first rate and our server was attentive and congenial. The two ladies both had the scallops, while the men had the Chicken Kiev and the Blackened Wild Salmon. All four dishes were spectacularly good. The restaurant has been tastefully remodeled from its earlier incarnations as Italian and Mexican eateries, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Russell's is definitely on our list of places to revisit in the future. Heartily recommended!

Another excellent meal at Russell's despite the rain outside! We started with the Caesar salad for two that was expertly made by our server. My wife had duck that was very tasty. My salmon was well prepared. Our server recommended the bread pudding that was a real treat. We had a glass of wine (a cab for my wife; a pinot noir for me). each wine was OK. There are much better bottles of wine to select. Service was first class.

Everything was perfect for our impromptu dinner date! From first greeting to final goodbye, everyone was so genuine and helpful. Our server was super attentive and sweet and gave perfect suggestions! Every course we had was excellent. Loved every moment and will definitely be back. Can't wait for Russell's to open for lunch in September!

Great location, but the food fell a little short this time. We have eaten here several times, and have always enjoyed it. They recently changed the menu and the overall consensus from the group was that it was okay. Somewhat bland and lacked flavor. We ordered the burger, shrimp linguine, salmon, chicken and pork chops, so there was a wide array of menu items. But sadly, we all felt the food was under seasoned.
