Russell's has a great location on Lake Ivanhoe, with an expansive view of the lake during the day. The menu has a variety of options, from steak to seafood. The salmon with mustard sauce was very good. It was not very busy when we were there, so it is hard to know how noisy it would be if the restaurant was full. The service was very good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner experience at Russell's. Our party of 4 ate appetizers, including the tuna tartare, my favorite, tender pork belly, sauteed octopus, beets, a charcuterie board, Caesar salads, and shared the duck entree. We were all very satisfied and satiated.

Took my wife for her birthday brunch to Russell's. This was our first experience and definitely not our last. The atmosphere is very relaxed and all the staff, including the owner were all very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is setup with ample space which was very comfortable with my large wheelchair. We started with a shrimp cocktail which has very large shrimp, were very fresh (no hint of frozen), and some very good cocktail sauce that was delicious and home made. We then shared a Cesar salad that was described as having a home made dressing dating back to 1924. This was absolutely the most delicious salad and I am now definitely ruined on all other dressing, so definitely a must try. My wife had the club and I had the bun-less burger. Both were very good but honestly not as impressive as the appetizers. The dinner dishes look amazing so we are looking forward to upgrading our review once we return and try the main dishes. We highly recommend Russell's, and we will be returning soon.

Thank you for a great happy hour experience! The food was great, drinks poured perfect and the atmosphere was perfect for a quiet birthday celebration for a close friend. We can't wait to come back... PS loved the table side Caesar salad!

Ok. Let me start this review off by saying that I very rarely give low ratings to an eatery, but there are 2 reasons that I could not give over a 3 star on this place. It was our first time visiting Russells on Lake Ivanhoe for our Friday date night. The welcome was nice and warm, and we were quickly shown to our seats. The server was also lovely, she greeted us, talked us through the menu, and then made some great drink recommendations. I had the Malbec and my wife had a really nice raspberry cocktail. We were excited by the menu, as they had both a 1lb Ribeye which is my favorite kind of steak, and my wife wanted the salmon... and we were going to split each dish, so we each had the Surf and Turf. This is where they lost the stars. The steak came out, and it clearly was not a 16 oz steak. It was a 10 - 12 oz top. Then when I cut into the steak, I can honestly say it was the toughest steak I have ever had in a restaurant. It was chewy and honestly a Denny's standard. It was cooked to the perfect Medium rare though. My wife did not want me to complain. So I kept my mouth shut. However, I feel cheated and disappointed by this. $44 for something that should cost $10 at a push. Will we be back? Maybe. But definitely not for the steak. The salmon was delicious though. I hope management sees this and puts things right here. Thanks for reading.

We were there to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We were greeted with Happy Birthday at the door. Our server Esteban was very efficient and friendly. Our food was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Once again we had a wonderful dinner at Russel’s. Prior to arrival we were alerted by Meagan, the GM of the construction project on Orange avenue and were given instructions on how to avoid it. We were then greeted by her once we arrived. Our server Brandon was friendly and attentive, helped with our dinner selections. My scallops and risotto was excellent and my wife’s filet was cooked perfectly. I highly recommend Russel’s and look forward to eating there soon.

My family and I had an amazing time! I requested a table by the window for a gorgeous sunset view and a special message on the dessert for my mom’s birthday and they did both! I was so impressed! The waiter was also so patient and attentive! We all loved our dinner choices and the wine! Will definitely be coming back to Russell’s!!

This was the worst dining experience. I made the reservations and told them it was my husbands birthday. They did not acknowledge it at all. The food was horrible. His sword fish was raw and the pork chops were not cooked well done as we told the waiter very very well done. It’s not the waiters fault but I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I love Russell’s. It’s such a clean, tranquil, homey spot and the food has always been the perfect balance of tasty and healthy. Love their 3 egg omelette, huevos rancheros for breakfast and also their salmon at dinner.

I placed my OpenTable reservation on the way to this restaurant. Shortly after placing my reservation, I was called by the restaurant to alert me that the road outside of the restaurant was under construction. I was given detailed instructions on how to enter the complementary valet section which was greatly appreciated. Because of the detour, we were a few minutes late for the reservation, but the kind host said it was okay and seated us immediately. The food was wonderful and the portions were sizable. The server even let us know that this food was delayed, because the chef had accidentally overcooked my beef tenderloin and wanted to make it right. We ended up being at the table past when they were closed, and our server continued to check in with us without rushing us out. The food and service were well worth the price of dinner. I will certainly return.

Russell’s on Lake Ivanhoe was a great experience from the Valet,to the hostess, to the wait staff. This was our first time and we will definitely be going back. The place was semi-formal. Great place for date night. The food was great. I suggest either the pork chop or the tenderloin. Ask for Dylan! His service was top notch!

We had a wonderful time at Russell on Lake Ivanhoe last night. We all enjoyed our appetizers and everyone remarked that their food was delicious. The manager even sent us a map to get around road work near the restaurant. Highly recommended!

A very enjoyable experience. The food was very good and the service was excellent. We had a table-side Caesar salad that was one of the best restaurant prepared salads I have had in a long time and the pork chop was expertly prepared. We are looking forward to going back to the restaurant the next time we come to Orlando.

Burger was overcooked and flavorless. Fries cold and hard. Chicken sandwich on hard pitas was like airport fare! Won’t return. They don’t serve anything except brunch both Saturday and Sunday which was not clear from the menu here on OT, perhaps that food is ok. Regular menu starts with dinner at 5pm.

We have used this a restaurant a few times but last night it failed us. The restaurant was very quiet with only a few tables taken so no atmosphere. We were a table of 4 and 2 of us had the lamb chops. Unfortunately they were cold in the middle. We did bring this to the attention of our waitress who just apologized. We will not be returning

We were seated at one of the two bench tables in the bar. The next table over was a group having fun; but over the top loud. Three of us were very bothered; two not so much. Because the food and servicr were good. But, its amazing how a noisy patron or two can kill a diner’s ability to enjoy a meal. And, yes, I should have insisted we switch tables.
