The food was excellent as was the service. More choices of food might be a good idea especially for those who dont eat fish and are lactose-free.

My wife and I go at least once a month. The service and food are very good (hard to say great but close). They change the menu every once in a while so surprise :-) We have tried pretty much everything on the menu and we were never disappointed. The chef and his staff are engaging and always willing to explain what they are doing with a smile. One and a half steps up from a good roadhouse. See you next month.

This was my third time in the last month. Food is terrific. Service excellent from the hostess to the wait staff. Creative items on the menu. I highly recommend the Kung Pao brussel sprouts as a starter. I will keep coming back.

This local gem never disappoints! The menu is always changing and scrumptious options delight any palate.
I had the stuffed chicken breast (brie, spinach and truffle mushrooms) and it was the best chicken dish I have ever had. I have been about 4 times since it opened in 2016, and I have always had a great experience. Yes the music can be a bit loud but it is great 70's rock. The age demographic was mixed, but I would say late twenties and up. The cocktails and appetizers are exciting and delicious! The chef and the young staff she oversees are professional and skilled. Bravo!

We attended to celebrate anniversaries with another couple and were immediately welcomed and seated at a corner table near the bar. We were then presented with 4 glasses of Prosecco on the house. Our server/bartender was very attentive (but not overly) throughout our evening. All of the food was prepared expertly in their open kitchen and tasted delicious. I would certainly recommend Rust Bistrobar to anyone looking for a top notch dinner in a relaxing atmosphere.

We had the most amazing time at Rust celebrating my husband’s birthday!! Our server Kate was warm, welcoming and so efficient. She had a great rapport with us but still super professional. Our meals were delicious, and on Kate’s recomendation we tried a few appetizers that proved to be so creative and different from the way we had had them before! Especially the brussel sprouts, the crispy broccoli, and the crostone, a different take on bruschetta!
Our mains were superb, I had the lamb dish which was cooked so perfectly to my liking! It was so tender and juicy, accompanied with fingerling potatoes and veggies that were so flavourful!! My dinner companions had the risotto with lump crab, and their signature bison burger....both delicious!!
The meal wa served beautifully timed, no rushing and at the same time no long waits between courses!!
The atmosphere was lively and the open kitchen added some lovely aromas wafting throughout the restaurant! Would we come back again??? In aheart beat!!

My favorite by far. The food is excellent with amazing affordable prices. Wine selection, cheese boards and the adventurous meat selection on the menu honestly make you break out of your usual comfor zone of ordering the same thing over and over again. Even the burger is phenomenal!!!! 💕 😜

This was our third visit to Rust. While we enjoyed the previous 2 this visit was not as enjoyable. We brought 2 couples who had not been at the restaurant before and were embarrassed to have done so. We all arrived prior to our 11:30 brunch reservation. We did not get any food until after 12:30. The original server we had seemed to disappear and a more experienced server took over. She blamed the slow service on "everyone arriving at once". As it is Sunday brunch this should be expected. Those that ordered an eggs Benedict entree were happy with their meals. Two of us had the Moroccan Scramble and it was totally tasteless. The description said spicy chickpeas and olives but the dish had no taste. To say the least not the best brunch experience.

Enjoyed my birthday dinner with a friend over spicy Gojichang cauliflower appy, Wild Boar Red sauce over fresh Pappardelle, and Sliced Steak & Salad. Lively atmosphere, mixed crowd, nice open-concept. Overly loud for intimate date or close conversation at tables/banquettes. Good, quick service, and great gf chocolate cake!

A very relaxed and inviting atmosphere that has the right balance of buzz and yet the ability to have a conversation with your table-mates.

Food is extremely good. Menu is not large but everything on it that we have tasted so far is delicious. Kitchen tweaks the menu over time thereby offering some appealing change.

Highly recommended.

We were greeted warmly and seated promptly. Our friends arrived soon and we took advantage of the Happy Hour wine special, which is either a preselected single choice of white or red wine for $6 per glass. Honestly, not much of a Happy Hour. Food was great! Delicious fresh pasta! Scallops and the new risotto recipe were excellent. The new shrimp appetizer was also really, really good. Service was a bit slow on drinks, but the server was very friendly and was also bar tending. Overall, food - excellent; service - almost excellent; decor - unimaginative, but seems very clean. Menu could be more extensive but we will definitely return.

We confirmed a reservation and drove 35 miles to get there. When we arrived we were turned away by person in charge . His excuse was the kitchen had closed early. A real disappointment and not acceptable. No future credit or any compensation.
I wonder if the owner of the restaurant knows what happens when they are not there.

We don't get out much with two young children at home, but when we do, we love going to Rust. I have never eaten the same thing twice and every meal I have eaten here has been tremendous. I couldn't recommend it enough.

While I wish I could give a better review, it just isn't so.
Upon arriving, we were seated at our table. It was loud, and I had to increase my volume in order for my husband to hear me. The table had cutlery and two small plates. Our glasses remained empty for close to 10 minutes before we were given water. We had to return the small plates because they were dirty. The new ones given to us had soap film over them and were wet. They were returned as well.
The food was ok. And I can't give any more than that. My scallops were undercooked and could have used 2-3 more minutes on the grill. The risotto was creamy, which was very nice, but I personally hate peas and I didn't realize they were mixed into the dish itself. Regardless, I ate it because I didn't want to have to return it. My husband ordered the Korean beef and it was overpoweringly very sweet. He ended up scrapping off the most of the dense syrup because it took over the entire plate (he ended up eating half of my dish because 1) peas and 2) he needed to taste something else).
We didn't bother with dessert. Our waitress was very kind, and accommodated the issues we voiced. But unfortunately, this won't change that I personally won't return.

We ate dinner on the patio for the first time, let me start by saying it's a cozy set up and very comfortable!! This particular evening was extremely hot, however, Rust does has a mister system in place. The unfortunate part was, that they allowed one table to dictate whether it was on or not. This was very disappointing, as most people wanted it on and instead of a consensus, they allowed one poor sport to ruin it for everyone else. I propose (like other places), you have sign indicating that in warmer weather this comes on intermittently. This will warn patrons in advance and if they have an issue with that, they can choose to sit inside or place themselves accordingly.

Dinner was again spectacular, the wine fantastic and our sever fun, energetic and very attentive.

Highly recommend !!
