Located in the heart of Penrith, our brand new small-batch brewing facility is open to the public and offers our visitors an immersive brewery experience. Sit and drink some of our finest craft beers from the bar and enjoy a hearty feast, while you watch our brewmasters hard at work.

It was a last minute decision to go there for dinner, but so happy we did. The atmosphere was great, the staff very friendly and the food was great. Just would have loved to see more greenery on the menu.

We have been to Rusty penny a few times now and always have a great time. Sunday arvo with music creates a great atmosphere. We will be back again that’s for sure. We have introduced a few friends and they loved it too😊

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was relaxed. The scent of burning wood from cooking slow cooked meats could be faintly smelt. Service was great, team were happy. Willing to help. Plenty beers to choose from. Alcoholic lemonade is a must, on a Sunday afternoon.. don’t get fooled or you’ll get trashed 😂 Slow cooked BBQ, AWESOME

The food was tender and juicy, very nice but it had quite a bit of spice to it. Still delicious, just took me by surprise. The customer service was outstanding. They were all friendly and were laughs with the customers. The beer was very nice. The music mixed with the people laughing and talking got to be very loud and made it hard to hear each along the table but at the same time made for a fun and upbeat atmosphere.

Food was very tasty but 45 minutes on a burger, it was busy and a Trivia night, tho we ordered at the same time and the burger came out 25 minutes after everyone else got their food. Will definitely be back, the brisket is amazing! Pulled pork was semi dry, the brisket made up for it.

The whole experience of the Rusty Penny was amazing Can’t wait to come back with our HOG chapter Bought some T-shirts on the night, the boys say they are a great fit and feel good on the Skin, the fabric is really nice Very much, looking forward to another visit I understand it’s a brewing company, however, a little bit more wine selection would be perfect for the ladies that don’t drink beer 🍺

Booked a table through the directed application from the Rusty Penny website and turned up at the appropriate time only to find they had our booking but never bother to allocate us a table. They just said take any spare table, if they want people to use their booking application, then they should make the effort on their behalf to actually allocate a table.

Table of nine, two orders. Almost 30 minutes between orders. First order arrived last. Pepper on brisket too overpowering, was not like this at our previous visit, however chicken burger was sensational.

Staff are so friendly, have tennis balls to keep the kids entertained! My 3yr old calls Rusty Penny the yummy food place and asks to go regularly. Not just beer available, some delicious gummy worm fruit tingle that is awesome if you have a sweet tooth.

Love this place, beautiful tasty food, especially the pork bites and the hand cut chips yum! definantly a place to feel relaxed and not feel like they rush you out. Try the hard pub squash, very nice.

Everything was great. Rustic style is our thing and we were not disappointed. Bartender was great with explaining the beer selection. Beers tasted great also. Overall service was fantastic, everyone were very friendly. We even got to play trivia. Food portion was good, I have only 2 feedbacks that I want the kitchen to know. The chips were a bit cold and unseasoned. Some of the sauces were not labelled, one of them I assumed was tomato sauce, gave it to my 6yr old and she ended up in tears. Otherwise, we will definitely go back again.

Overall we loved our visit to The Rusty Penny and have visited before and had a great experience as well. The only criticism I have is that most of the time there was only one person serving behind the bar and that caused a bit of frustration as the line was often long and usually more than 10 deep. However once the rush of food was over there was 2 people serving drinks and the line was no issue. Still a great afternoon

Loved the food, beer and atmosphere. Staff were amazing However, you need to add more heating in such a large room. We found it very cold and chilly as the night went on. The cold coming from the concert floor became uncomfortable.

I have been to Rusty Penn6 a few times and I have loved it This time, unfortunately there were 2 issues 1st, the beef was dry 2nd, they CHARGED US MORE than what was on written on their menu, and on their board. The amount was nearly $10 more for 3 meals. At no stage did they mention this until I questioned the price. They said that the meat was more expensive so they have a surcharge. Nothing stated this. Bait and switch tactics. I questioned it, the only option was we could have another meat, which I didn't want. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR THIS.
