We were celebrating the holidays, our server, Babek, was amazing, very energetic and attentive. The food was delicious, my only issue was that their cocktails have too much ice, other than, I had no complaints.

We are regulars and truly love the food and experience. Last night we had the pleasure of being served by Nicole for the first time. She was amazing. Very attentive and offered up some suggestions based on some new menu items. She even made my son a hot chocolate with Baileys…. Even though they don’t serve hot chocolate! She handcrafted it and it tasted great. We will be back of course and we will ask to e seated in Nicole’s section.

First time at Ruth Chris and we were very pleased with the ambience, food and service. Paul H looked after us and was friendly, respectful and explained the menu items very well. The hostesses when we first got to the restaurant were very welcoming all the way to letting us know as she was taking us to our table where the restrooms were located - nice touch. We had a nice evening!!

You get what you pay for ..and this was no exception. We were very pleased with our visit there and will return again to try more . Steak was great cooked as always but also you pay top dollar for it. Not a place I would go often due to price for just 2 people to have a decent dinner + wine. I'm not sure how mashed potato and mushrooms can very so much in flavour from visit to visit at the same location...we have noticed this with the side dished at Markham location.

We had a fantastic family dinner at Ruth’s Chris Steak House. We ordered harvested salad, steak dishes and mushrooms for sharing. Food here was excellent as always. Food is very good, steaks amazing. However, service leaves much to be desired. Our server Mitch stood there and chatted with a bartender, while all the other servers were just walking back and forth without much purpose. For a fine dining establishment like that plates should be cleared almost immediately, clients should be babysat especially if the bill is close to half a grand. If it wasn't for the food, I would not be recommending this place at all. Keg to the contrary has both value, quality and excellent service. But if you want a great steak - Ruth will do it right, just be prepared to spend $200 minimum.

I requested for a large under cut (filet portion to be larger - closer to the PIN bone area) Instead, we received a small portion on the under-cut side closer to the Wing Steak area the side of beef. Not sure how your point system works but this visit and my last visit, I did not have my Ruth’s card filled with any tokens of my visit Thanks Greg

The food was terrible! Amateur is what I would call the Ceaser salad ! The steak was topped with parmigiana cheese which destroyed the taste of the steak ! Meanwhile in the Ceaser salad there was very little parmigiana cheese lol ! I do not recommend eating at Ruth Chris steak house ! Very bad value and sub par food !

The service was terrible; the waiter kept looking at us as we sat for almost 5 hours and did not come over to ask if we wanted anything else after our entrees were completed - I had to ask the table while he was in the vicinity if anyone wanted any dessert or coffee. Then, after trying to motion to the waiter to bring the bill, I had to outright ask for the bill in front of our 6 person business group. The food was greasy, not fresh and ill-prepared and we sat with no drinks for over an hour - no one came over to ask if we wanted anything else.... The music was louder than it needed to be and odd - some type of classical music which I don't mind but this was not enjoyable to listen to at all.

The service was spectacular. I cannot say a disparaging word. Everyone we encountered was amazing. Our servicer was truly exceptional. Went way abov and beyond for us. The cut of steak amazing. I can definitely tell a difference in the quality. Cooked perfectly. However, it was under seasoned. The side dishes were terrible. Gut wrenching overpriced for something I could find better at the grocery store. The potato au gratin was actually laughable. We have been cracking jokes about it all day. It reminded me of something served in a school cafeteria. The creamed spinach...again. Cafeteria food. The mushrooms were the only redeemable thing. The French onion soup as a starter was very good. The bread was great. Ceasar salad was nothing to write home about. The restaurant is gorgeous and very romantic, minus the view of the busy street. We haven't sampled our desserts yet except for the complimentary cheese cake for our anniversary which was a nice touch. Overall we had a good time. But the cost...omg. Ive had far FAR better food for half the cost. We don't mind paying more for quality of food, but what we received in side dishes. That menu needs a severe upgrade. Not side dishes that stepped out of the 1950's. For this alone we will not be back. Which is unfortunate because the steak really is amazing as well as the staff.

We have dined at Ruth's Chris at other locations and, hosting guests, anticipated quality and service commensurate with the price point. We appreciated the offer of a taste comparison between wines, but the food was pedestrian. Entrees included rib steak, lamb, chicken, and salmon; all were just competent but neither delicious nor beautifully presented. The sides included tough, undercooked brussels sprouts smothered in sugar, unremarkable potatoes and a thin Hollandaise with the asparagus. Our table was left unchecked and unbussed until we actively sought service on a quiet evening, and noise from the blender and shakers at the bar was intrusive. The dessert menu lacked dishes promised and was uninteresting. An $800+ meal for 4 was completely unmemorable. Will not return.

Very accommodating. We ordered our food to share we got separate plates of salad and a plate each to help ourselves to take our food. The server was so friendly and knowledgeable. Food was impeccable. I would consider this as my favorite place to go for any special occasion.

Hopes of an elevated dining experience fell far short. Staff not equipped to meet hospitality standards expected in restaurant at this level. The lack of service skills among the wait staff detracted from what should have been an enjoyable dining experience. I hope management takes these issues to heart and works towards improving the overall customer service (skills) to align with the restaurant’s purported status. For a place that serves $200 steaks and three to four times markup on wines, you need to step it up. The food alone does not make or sustain a restaurant. My experience may be isolated to this particular location but the overall experience leaves me with the impression that its reputation may be more aspirational than reflective of its current reality.
