Service was really bad. It was frustrating that they were very serious about the time frame for all you can eat but it took 40 mins to get a drink and our server was only at our table twice for us to place more food orders. It was super disappointing.

Service was very slow. I don’t think we got all the food that we ordered for the all you can eat. Drinks were bad. Go to Iron Age or Gyu Kaku for a better experience.

Always a great experience at Ryuu. Anna and her team are lovely, the food is great. The all you can eat option is awesome. The kalbi, crispy tuna rice and tuna avocado are my fave. And the lychee martini. Yum! Kid friendly, too, with high chairs and changing station!

I love this restaurant. I took my staff there for an end of the year party and then I was so impressed with the food and service I took my family. For my son's 19th birthday, he asked to return with a few of his friends. Food is amazing !!!!!

Love Ryuu, my go to spot for Korean bbq in the city, I think it offers the best all you can eat deal in terms of quality (everything tastes great) and quantity (appetizers and sides like rice/noodles included). The only critique is service, sometimes slow with getting drink orders, but absolutely will return and have had a great experience every time.

The food was okay. Like the appetizers we’re pretty slamming. However the meat was very sweet and under seasoned me and my gf and daughter couldn’t even finish it. Plus the waitress we had literally took forever to bring us anything like food drinks, whatever she took a long time. And the fod was way too expensive for the quality of what it was. There are better k bbq shops please go there!

Legit the one of the best places in the city! This is my 8th time coming and it never disappoints. Our server, however, was extremely rude. Multiple times she seemed to get frustrated with us when we were unsure on what to get/drink. At the end, the one rice dish was not good at all. She told us she had to charge us, and I even offered to eat it to avoid the fee. She grabbed the bowl out of my hand and stormed off. The sad part was the tip is automatically included.. so there is no incentive for her to care. We will be back but this is the first time something like this happened.

Overall a good experience. They limit your eating time to 90 mins for the AYCE option. Food was pretty tasty, but we had a new server who was slow getting around to us for refills. Wish they had more banchan selection and you have to ask for ssam if you want to make wraps.

The food was great! Very tasty & delicious. First timer here so I hope it was on off night as far as the service. Our waitress seemed more focused on going home after close that it took away from the experience. She never came back and asked for our drinks so no drinks. We had water so no big deal. I had to flag her down for one water refill after over 10 mins. Maybe some room for improvement or an off night.

While the BBQ was decent the service was terse at best with the waitress trying to pull the menu away from me while I was trying to order a drink. The K-Pop music that was playing too loudly was annoying at best. Most oddly, we had to ask for lettuce, garlic and jalapeños to wrap our BBQ in ..... and then they charged extra for it !!! I have been to many, many Korean BBQ joints and providing those items has always been a standard part of the experience. With so many other Korean BBQ spots in Chicago, this is one we will not be returning to.

I come here all the time and food always tastes amazing! Service was fast and efficient even if it gets busy. Highly recommend the lumpia, bao buns, spicy pork shoulder and bulgogi.

Love the variety on the all you can eat menu and the portions for the appetizers are perfect for one person when you are all you can eat since you want to eat the bbq and you can order a lot of appetizers and still have many room for the bbq and the variety of noodles and rices dishes. I got beef bimbimbap. And not to mention they do some banchan.

Great option for a casual Korean BBQ dinner. The BBQ entrees were good and we were surprised the appetizers were even better. The service was excellent. For a Sunday night, it was busy but we could have a good conversation in our table without having to shout.

There was a great all-you-can-eat deal including appetizers and meats for the KBBQ. Every piece of meat was well marinated and delicious! The staff was informative and attentive. I’d love to come back again and again!
