    Food was amazing but service was horrible. I was there for my birthday dinner and My boyfriend and I waited 50 mins for our dinner order to be taken and when we finally got our servers attention it took us another 20 mins for our bill. The restaurant was empty.

    The waitress was so friendly and efficient. We felt welcomed as we celebrated my friend's birthday. Wellness Bowl plus salmon was very good as well - a little more vegetables (cucumber/tomatoes) and nuts would be even better. Salmon was cooked perfectly, not overcooked.

    We came for happy hour to celebrate our twin nieces 19th birthday. Had good drinks and snacks, and then our server brought out two complimentary birthday cookies to help celebrate. It was much appreciated!

    Our server Jenna was great, friendly personable, effervescent, efficient. We sat outside so the noise level was low, inside seating is usually to loud for us. A wonderful experience overall. The food was very tasty

    We had a lovely anniversary dinner, the manager did extra tidbits to make our night special and it was very appreciated. Food was delicious, made a great mojito mocktail (I’m pregnant). Would recommend for special occasions.

    A little disappointed due to a high end menu price but not high end food or presentation. My salad only had iceberg lettuce in it, there are alot of better options out there for lettuce.

    A very disappointing experience. The service was slow and at times almost non existent. It took over ten minutes to replace a soda that was flat. The restaurant was not busy but the wait before drinks and then for the food was unreasonable. The food when it did arrive was disappointing and considering the prices, reflected poorly on value for money. I will not be a regular visitor and will not be back any time soon. The patio eating area is very pleasant but even the servers were complaining about the number of wasps that were disrupting eating. Sorry but very little positive to say about the experience.

    I would recommend S&L as the atmosphere is great, it’s not too loud and the bartender was able to make a delicious cocktail for me that wasn’t on the menu (a Grasshopper). I would not recommend it for supper though as my meal was super spicy and my husband and I both have had better meals for a lower price. Just to go for appys and drinks would be best, I think.

    We usually go to cactus club but a power outage changed our plans. What a lovely surprise to find S + L! It was quiet, the service was excellent and the food was delicious. Loved the decor but found it a bit dark. A very minor negative. We will be back.

    Lovely place, outside seating in the booths has weird blistering paint on the seat backs and the table surface was dusty like it hadn’t been cleaned properly for at least a few days. Steak and fries was good value and the kids meals were good too. The kids liked the oysters too. Will definitely be back.

    We were not impressed. Expensive restaurant, crappy service and the food was not even close to worth the money. I'd get better service and quality at Ricky's or Denny's.

    Steak was cook more on the rare side than med-rare. Ordered dry martini with twist ….. received martini with vermouth and twist with olives ….?? Gibson …… no pickle onion juice and no onions!! Enough said.

    The steaks were a little overdone and my husband’s was a little chewy. Not the best filets we have had at your restaurant. The sides were great as well as the dessert. We were also given a sample appetizer that was very good. Our server was friendly and attentive. Great service.

    We went for my daughter’s graduation . There were only 2 staff up front . The bartender and the waitress. Both were doing a great job . It would be nice to see them have a bit more support as I can imaging the waitress being overwhelmed . She was kind and attentive although being the only one on. The wait t for drinks and food took a bit . Understandably so as there were only a few people woe.

    Ordered appies and mains. Main came first. Didnt checkin water sat empty for halfway thru our meal. Didnt mention items they didn't have on the menu before trying to take my order.

    We had dinner with friends, they prefer pescetarian and found the menu had lots of great choices for them. Everything was great, live music was great and added a fun vibe. We saved room for the Nitro ice cream, prepared at our table, which was so entertaining and a fun way to end dinner.

    We had a great lunch for Mother’s Day but our meals took quite a long time. Mind you that’s to be expected because it was Mother’s Day and the restaurant was full. I ordered something on the menu, which was the only thing I really wanted and they didn’t have it due to the fact that the pasta machine was broken.     We went in to celebrate Mother’s Day. My dad and my son had a burger and fries that they both enjoyed. My daughter had gnocchi which she enjoyed as well. My mom and I had the beef dip which was not good. The horseradish was so overwhelming that we could not taste anything else. We scraped the horseradish mayo off the bread as much as we could but it was still overpowering. It cleared our sinuses for sure! My mom had fries with hers and I had the house salad. It’s funny that she had less than half the amount of fries that my dad and son had with their burgers. I laughed at my salad. It was a tiny little plate with a couple of bites of salad. Cactus club, Browns Social house, milestone’s are not this frugal with their side salad. Live and learn. My husband had the breakfast sandwich. The top of his bread was so hard he knocked on it to show me how hard it was and his potatoes (hash) were dry, hard and flavorless. It’s sad because we’ve been to S +L plenty of times before and the service and food were great. Also, we could not find our server for a long time and my dad and kids were out of drinks and should have had refills. I had to go and ask the bartender for the refills myself. I know it was busy but she checked in on us and she didn’t notice that they needed refills. We noticed as soon as she left. Waited for over 10 or 15 minutes but I decided to go and ask the bartender for the drinks. My dad is blind so he couldn’t see the he was almost done his drink and the kids are kids and didn’t notice either. I was really looking forward to having a special Mother’s Day Bruch with amazing food and great service. Sadly that was not the case. I’m still happy to have spent time with my family but we could have gone to the spaghetti factory instead. Not planning to go back to S+L for a while. If it was just bad service we’d understand because it was busy but half the food was bad too. :( * The musician that was playing was great! ps. Bring back the lamb pops.

    I took my family there for Mother’s Day. The service was great! The only disappointment was the food. Usually their food is great! But it seemed like the kitchen had everything prepped ahead of time to deal with the busy day. My avocado toast was dry, cold and rock hard. My husband and fathers hash browns were cold and hard. The service definitely made up for it as we didn’t wait long and staff were very friendly.
