I don't usually complain but we received little attention from our waitress...was never asked if we wanted more drink refills or more wine, quite disappointing. Despite it being not busy, food took about 30 minutes. Its too bad, its quite nice inside but the service didn't match at all.

Went for a work dinner and the staff did the best they could but ordered a wine, they didn’t have it. Ordered a second wine, Prisoner, enjoyed it and ordered a second bottle. They didn’t have a second bottle, ended up with the third one, duckhorn. Great as always. Ordered a port for dessert, they didn’t have any port. Why not just update your menus?

Food was just fine but quite pricey. Charging an extra $5.50 for a Caesar substitute from a house salad or fries is a bit much. Plus offering horseradish with a steak and then charging $1.75 for fresh and $1.50 for aioli without mentioning the charges is unfortunate nickel and diming. Not worth the money.

The server was very good. The greeters at the front door not so friendly. They were more interested in chatting with themselves. Received a phone call earlier in the day saying I only had 1 hrs for the table , as they were busy and needed the table. It seems their priorities are to make the Mighty Dollar and forget about customer service

Pork belly grilled cheese wasn’t great. The pork belly was tough and when I complained I was told it was more like a bacon, that’s why. However, the manager offered to replace it with something else. I chose the beef dip. Sadly the beef was dry, over cooked and under seasoned. The bun was too hard on the outside but doughy on the inside. Maybe I’ll have better luck next time.

This was my third time at S&L Langley and it did not disappoint. The service was prompt and friendly, the food was delicious and well presented, and the ambiance was electric. The live music was a nice addition, and I particularly enjoyed the sozzle cart that roamed the dining room offering table side drinks and shots. I 100% recommend going if you are looking for an upscale casual dining experience in Langley.

We made a reservation at least two hours in advance and when we got there we had a tiny table in the back corner with my (Don) back right to the burning fireplace. Boy was it hot. I started sweating right away. We asked if we could have a different table and our waitress told us she could shut the fireplace off. She did but it was still hot for some time. So hot I had to get up and stand away from it. Finally they seated us a t a different table. That table was bigger and quieter. No one should ever sit that close to a burning fireplace.

The service was the best we’ve had anywhere in a long time. Our server was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The table side drink cart was a fun and delicious addition to our evening. The food was exceptional and even included a complimentary appetizer! Can’t wait to go back!

We came with a party of 4, and was very much looking forward to our dinner as we used to love coming here. But we were very dissapointed the food quality has gone down hill, and was not impressed with the service. Hope next time is better.

I’ve been here a couple of times and always love it. Food is delicious, service is great, ambience is perfect for dining and hanging out. Noise level is quite high for long and deep conversations so it’s really a place for fun.

Our server was excellent! 3 of us for a birthday lunch and all had different variations of the Farmer’s salad. We we treated to dessert by our awesome server. I’m sorry I can’t remember her name. Short blondish hair with tattoos across her upper chest.

We had a lovely dining experience at S+L kitchen and bar. The service was fantastic. We had the pull apart bread which was good, fair size & price. The chicken tenders were a small portion for the price, IMO. Everyone enjoyed their mains, my steak was cooked to perfection! The dish was hot, and the mashed potatoes were cold. Makes me think it was left under a light for a while. The atmosphere is nice, seems like a good place to go for a business meeting, meal with friends. Will return!

I was there for my birthday. Started with a dozen oysters and they were fantastic. Then we moved I. To the top sirloin with salad and creamed bacon corn. Steaks were cooked to perfection and the corn was tasty. I liked the salad except for the crumbs instead of croutons. Our server was friendly, attentive and professional. Another great birthday at S & L Thank you

Was looking forward to the ravioli and we we're all disappointed to hear it was removed from.the menu. My husband had the lobster pasta but felt there wasn't enough lobster in the dish for the price of the meal. A child was literally screaming at 3 tables down from us. But overall we really enjoyed our evening. I loved the cocktail cart. And my Farmer Salad with salmon was hands down the best salad I have had in a long time. I wrote on our reservation celebrating two birthdays but it was not acknowledged and we just celebrated amongst ourselves. We get together fir my sister in law and husband's birthdays every October and would come......if ravioli comes back too 😉
