Two of us had dinner and both rice bowls we had were bordering on the cold side . Why they don’t heat the bowl it is served in is beyond me . Also $20.00 plus dollars for an 8 ounce glass of Pinot noir is a bit rich .

We came for an early dinner during happy hour. The waitress was very kind and was excellent with our daughter. The food was quick and cooked perfect. No complaints from any of us. Can not wait to join you again

Services was good but really bad portion sizes and foot was bland. Friend ordered a steak with mashed potatoes and salad. The mashed potatoes was one ice cream scoop of potato and I have never seen such a small portion of salad. It took up about a 1/4 of the bowl. We were so disappointed that we will not return

Good service. Food was decent albeit the flavours could use a bit of up and up. The noise level went a bit too wild into the evening with a large crowd seated.

Everything was great, except the noise level….hard to have a conversation. We did request to be moved, and were able to move to a somewhat quieter table. We love S+L and will be back’

I can honestly say, I’m a very hard person to please. I have been to this establishment twice and both times I have extremely impressed! I’m just home from a lovely night out after celebrating with my husband my sons proposal to his girlfriend and our daughters wedding. We wanted a date night just the 2 of us and from the moment we arrived to S and L Langley to the minute we left we were so impressed. Annika our server was an absolute sweetheart and treated us like VIP guests. This was my husbands first time at your place and he has definitely found a new local restaurant. You guys do a fabulous job and I cannot wait for my to come over from Scotland to bring her for a great day/night. Thank you for looking after us! 5* all the way you guys!

We were disappointed. We can because our daughter had come before and had been very impressed. We found the food not so good and somewhat overpriced. The setting was quite noisy. It was nice that we were given a dessert to share in recognition of my daughter’s birthday!

Crab was cold and small portion for the price was the worst part , hot would have helped. Beef carpaccio was awesome. Free sample appetizer was alright taste but very appreciated and set a nice tone . Steaks were as ordered and delicious. Service was spot on, would have liked to tip more, but 18% on our $430 bill was all the budget would allow.

Went at 2:00 pm for late lunch , great service got happy hours deals, mostly noise level was great as not super full! Haven’t been in a while and were overall satisfied except maybe for the crab cakes that are very very small (one bite)

Steak was more medium than medium rare. Sirloin was tough on the outside rim but more tender as you ate the steak. Lobster tail was done well but super small for cost. Green beans quite Al dente. Creamed corn was delicious. Service was great and fast. Ambiance was good, and they were quite busy so I was siurprised it wasn’t louder. Overall good meal… some quality for the cost issues but I would go again.

There were several big groups when we dined. Super loud. Not the restaurant’s fault. We arrived and were informed we already checked in and were seated. Well no lol. They seated someone else in our reservation spot. So we were tucked in at a table squished next to the water and cutlery station. I had the seafood salad. Exactly 2 prawns, a tablespoon amount of lobster salad and a decent amount of smoked salmon. $29. Not a great value. My husband enjoyed his burger.

Our last 3 visits have been pretty much the same. We get seated and no one comes for 15 minutes to take our drink order (we always have a reservation) once we order we wait 10 minutes to get the drinks. All in all the service is slow and they don’t check on you, when you need someone it’s a long wait. We’re not coming back for a while. Hopefully they can get some training going and offer the service their prices reflect.

We had our anniversary dinner here and the food, service and atmosphere was exactly what we were hoping for. We had the harvest chicken and steelhead trout as our main: great portion sizes. Our favourite appy was the chickpea fries!!!! They were so yummy!!

This place is way overpriced. I can’t believe how expensive everything is and there’s zero reason for it. The food isn’t better than anywhere else. Also, please do better with your vegetarian menu. This was just sad. The only good thing was the great service, wine and good company.
