Amazing Santa brunch experience for myself & my four year old. Live music beautiful and to have Santa walking around and chatting with everyone, plus toy musical instruments for children to play with definitely added to the experience. Thank you.

Food was delish and perfect portion sizes. Luckily we arrived during the happy hour so prices were reasonable as well. What a nice surprise for a change. Lower menu prices! Fried chicken, crab cakes, ahi salad and sirloin all very nice. However, side Caesar salad was a bit overdressed. Our server was lovely and very accommodating. Lighting was quite dim and with a menu with tiny print it made reading very challenging. Flashlights on phones and magnifiers to the rescue. As 3 seniors perhaps seating us further from the door (a little chilly) and in a brighter section would benefit. It’s not something a young hostess might think of. I’ll be sure to make a note in our reservation for next time though. Marketing dept: a couple of notes: How about larger font on the dinner menu please? Even our server said she heard it all the time and had trouble reading it herself. Also, interesting decision about “wine by the glass” 5oz & 8oz for about the same prices as 6oz & 9oz glasses which is mostly the norm. Nice margin bump guys. Hmm. Oh well, all was good. An overall very enjoyable dining experience. Cheers!

Our salad had some stale ingredients. The calamari fries are not all calamari. The bowl was filled with other vegetables, overall it was good but not the best value. The women’s washroom had toilet paper on the roll not in the container and there was no hand towels. Our server was very attentive and good.

Celebrating with friends. Great atmosphere and excellent service from Haley. The Butter curry bowl is new on the menu so tried that, super impressed! Really delicious. Our whole party can also recommend the s’mores skillet, it not only looked great but was also delicious.

Went to the original Langley location a few times pre-covid and enjoyed the food. But it seems the South Surrey location is trying to be something different. I was disappointed with the food and the atmosphere. The music is too loud, bar is next to the dining area so you cannot have a dinner conversation without shouting across the table. The serving staff were great but overall not the same kind of experience I remembered in Langley - just another cactus club but with a worse menu.

Ambiance was excellent Friday night with guitarist pleasantly playing for our enjoyment. If you are a Pink Floyd fan, his rendition of Wish You Were Here was excellent! Great food and service. Always enjoyable at S&L South Surrey My only disappointment was the removal from the menu of the Prosciutto wrapped Sable fish. Delicious as it was, not so popular.

Considering it is a relatively new restaurant, the establishment is looking tired and beaten up. Banquets and chairs are tired. Both men’s washrooms did not have paper towel. Food was good though.

Immediately seated on arrival. Service was quick. My wife's Seafood Chop Chop Bowl hit the mark. as ususal. Very fresh and filling. I tried a new dish, Lobster & Crab Bombini Pasta. A substantial meal. Very flavorable. Empty dishes were cleared quickly. A nice Sunday dinner.

My first time at S+L and Andrea made the experience amazing! She’s the only server that asked what type of rum we prefer in the mojito. She makes great suggestions so we can have a better dine out experience. Love the live music as well. It’s nice that there are several seating sections - lounge, bar section, more energetic table seating section, quiet/intimate darker section, and the covered patio section. I love this place! Will definitely go back!

Our server was really pleasant, with sincerity. We were lucky enough to be treated to a comped appy of Wagyu perogies. Dinner was excellent. Refilled drinks were appreciated. We’d def consider going there again.

Good visit as usual. We were disappointed that the ravioli is no longer on the menu though. My gf got the lobster roll and wasn’t a huge fan, she prefers the trio of rolls on the previous menu. I had wings and mac n cheese sticks and they were very good. Thanks

Service was great but the food not so great. Sushi tuna bowl was not good. The tuna was stringy, too much wasabi mayo and there was really no need for the pile of sliced raw jalapeños . My friend had the lobster roll. There was minimal lobster with more if something else?? The drinks were good.

This was not a bad choice of venue for 5 people coming together, for lunch, from Seattle and Seville, (sp) via Vancouver, except that the music was too loud, and could not be turned down any further (or off), despite the fact that we were the only people in the restaurant, desperately trying to talk over the music, as if the language challenge was not already enough, despite asking for a quiet table on my reservation. The service was just fine, the chop chop bowl had crab instead of the advertised poached shrimp, and was generous, as was the wellness bowl. Nitro ice cream was a good "show", but the flavor was "meh" as was the choc-chip cookie. pretty reasonable value.

Always a pleasure going to S+L! Their food is always amazing as always, the atmosphere is really nice and this time our server really made it special for us. It was my birthday and she definitely went above and beyond for us and made me feel very special. S+L will continue to be one of my favourite restaurants!

Waitress was great. The oysters were very small + no small fork given to use with them. The Caesar salad was super small as well. Value for money is poor, ambience is nice, I would likely go back once they have their best salad on the menu again.

We had a &50. gift card to use. Tip was applied to the full amount of bill, before subtracting card and AFTER GST and Taxes were added to the bill, inflating the already generous tip of %18. Never paid a tip on GST and taxes before. Only $43. of the gift card was even applied to our bill because “their System” splits a gift card in some convoluted way to benefit ‘Business people”in a way the manager was unable to clearly explain. Bottom line - too many other wonderful restaurants out there to choose from. We won’t be back at S & L South Surrey ever again.

Went for my husbands birthday dinner! I Usually am impressed with S&L however my husbands rib eye came with a cold raw loaded potato. The steak was supposed to be medium rare but came rare. A $74.99 steak and they can’t get the potato or the steak right! The steak was brought back after they cooked it some more with mashed potatoes, was advised that my baked potato would take another 15 minutes and the steak was already cooked. Disappointed in one of my favorite restaurants, they say they don’t do mediocre but sadly it was.

Enjoyed our appys of Wagyu beef pot stickers and my steak was done just the way I ordered. They even added in some truffle oil for the mashed potatoes. My wife had the Caesar salad with blackened chicken that she was impressed with. Overall it was a great dinner for both of us. We declined the dessert as we were already pretty full by the time we finished our meals.
