   Was not impressed by the food. for 75$ i got 2 small shrimp and a cold undercooked steak. It took a VERY VERY long time to get our food. 1.5 hours. I would not recommend this resto to anyone.

   First time at the Saddleroom Grill. Food was amazing and not outrageously prices. A good value for what you get. Unfortunately only o e waitress who, bless her soul, worked very hard to do the best she could.

   Food was good. Unfortunately one waitress for the whole area and while she tried her best, it was difficult to get refills, etc. Would recommend for the food, but unless the service improved, I wouldn't recommend. Thanks.

   Dined at the Saddledome Grill last night before the game. For people looking to eat ahead of a hockey game, you can reserve on OpenTable. It’s easy, we always enjoy your food there, and you are literally steps away from your seats at the game.  The menu was a three course chefs tasting design for $75 per person. The first course was a choice of wild mushroom risotto with beef cheeks, duck prosciutto with shrimp, or burrata with beetroot. We opted for the risotto and the prosciutto. Both were delicious, the risotto was perfectly creamy, with lots of cheese.  The shrimp on the duck prosciutto salad were especially large. Options for main dishes included a strip loin, chicken supreme, grilled salmon, or a butternut squash ravioli. We opted for the strip loin & the chicken. Everything was hot & tasty - the dining room is full, and the kitchen was pumping out food at an extraordinar rate. We took our desserts to go to our seats, as we wanted to wait a little bit. Options were blood orange cheesecake, dark chocolate mousse cake & rum baba cake. We opted for cheesecake & rum cake. Including a lager, glass of Shiraz, & 2 Caesars (served spicy with pickled bean and a pepperoni stick), the bill came to about $215. Bruce was an outstanding server! And the Flames won! Great night all around!

    Ordered our food at 5:50pm but the main didn't arrive until after 7pm and the game had already started. Really disappointing and I would not recommend anyone to attend this restaurant unless they were there at least 2 hours before puck drop or didn't care they would miss half of the first period.

    The grill is terrible… they have changed the menu to only $75 per person 3 course meal. Tonight the pork was over cooked and dry. The chocolate lava cake was over cooked and not lava at all. The staff were lovely and service was ok, but the food is an extreme disappointment and price and 3 course meal do not work for a hockey rink. It’s a hockey rink! We don’t want junk food but we don’t want a 5 star restaurant either!

    Food was just okay and order was messed up but fixed by the manager who bought us a round of drinks. Staff was working hard. I’ll try this restaurant again in the future.

    Not overly enthusiastic about the forced 3 course meal before the hockey game. I don’t mind paying for a good meal but shoehorning a three course meal into hockey fans before a game is not my idea of a good time. You get a choice of appetizer, Main and dessert. I don’t want dessert but if you dine here now you pay for it no matter what. The price for the 3 courses is more than the value of what you get, in my opinion. I use to go to the Saddleroom for dinner before every game I went to, but won’t be going here while this menu is active. Hoping it goes back to the way it was before.

    Made to feel very welcome when we arrived - thanks Tim! Excellent food & service - we had the beef dip & the Korean wrap. The beef dip could be customized for example no onions, while the wrap came with salad & fries. Both extremely good!

    Last night’s experience at the Saddleroom was disappointing. I have eaten here many times over the years, and as recent as earlier this month, and have always been satisfied. The food was not at all acceptable, especially for the price point. Our medium rare steak was cooked almost to a well done. Our hamburger dish had a dry bun and crumbly hamburger patty. The lettuce in our Caesar salad was brown. We didn’t complain as the server seemed really busy (and was doing a great job) and we didn’t want to ruin our evening by complaining. Hoping this feedback will help the Saddleroom to do better next time.

    We have ate here a few times, and the food and service was ok. This past visit was exceptional. Our server Kimberly was outstanding!!. The food was perfectly prepared, my wife had the halibut and raved about it for hours. The prices are somewhat high, but the presentation of the food, the service, and the taste were a 10.

    My wife had the Halibut last night and was very disappointing. The Halibut came with a sauce on it which ironically looked and tasted exactly the same as the gravy on my steak. For a $44.00 meal it was very disappointing. When I brought this to the attention to one of the food service attendant, she just told us “this is the way it comes” I think at the very least they should have compted her meal.

    Brought another couple to the hockey game, and wanted to dine before that. Even though we were quite late, we were seated very promptly and our server, Taylor, was exceptional. I was also impressed to see general manager, Tim, helping out wherever needed. That speaks to a great service team environment. The food was exceptional, and we were finished in time for puck drop. Will definitely return again!

    What a great experience at the Saddleroom Lounge! From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted and attended to immediately by the server. The food was spectacular....our server Marin, was one of the best I've had in a long time! All the staff made the experience one to remember right down to the popcorn!

    The food was very good but I felt quite overpriced for the amounts that both got. We had to buy more food on the concourse level because we were still hungry. My wife is only 100lbs so it doesn’t take much to fill her up.

    We started out with an awesome soup and beet salad, but when it came to our main course, it went downhill! We had the braised lamb shank and ribeye steak. Wow what a disappointment! It’s not the same chefs as before. The steak was rubbery and hard to chew, the lamb shank was ok. It lacked flavour and what was underneath the shank? It wasn’t even edible. Please bring back the previous chefs! They were insanely awesome!
