   Great craft cocktails, wonderful flavorful food and friendly service. Spinach and artichoke stuffed naan is the bomb! Nice to be able to specify spice level too as I love extra spice. My new favorite Indian in Omaha.

   Our Book Club met at Saffron Urban for our monthly meeting. We were also celebrating a birthday and Saffron treated the table to beautiful desserts! The food was delicious, the portions were ample, and the ambience was lovely. Highly recommend!

   My wife and I had an amazing experience during our anniversary dinner. Saffron provided elevated takes on Indian staple dishes, as well as presenting completely unique items. Many things on the menu had familiar names, but all had a high level of attention to detail and were unlike anything we have ever tasted. Each dish was incredibly flavorful, with fresh spices and ingredients plentiful. It is clear that every aspect of the dining experience was intentional and designed to elevate the meal, even down to the side salad and soup. The service was excellent, and we were checked on regularly. The intentionality of the restaurant also translates into their fantastic drink program and the overall ambiance of the space. We started with the beef samosa and spinach artichoke naan (and I cannot stop thinking about that naan). Our main courses were the Lamb Vindaloo and Madrasi Tofu. We finished with an order of assorted Kulfi (ice cream), including pistachio and mango.

    Absolutely LOVED everything about our experience at Saffron! The ambiance, our server, the FOOD! We we were able to partake in a few happy hour specials including drinks, chicken spinach naan, and vegetable samosas. The entrees we enjoyed were kadai lamb and salmon madrasi.     Exceptional Dining Experience. The venue, food, and service was fantastic. Our server was busy with many other tables… as restaurant was busy. The only improvement I can suggest is to coordinate serving cocktail order either before or with appetizer, not after. Looking forward to a return visit!

    9.5 - A great Omaha restaurant; main dining room is a must The food and atmosphere is amazing The only thing I wish they would bring back are the real handheld menus (they will give you them upon request but a top tier restaurant doesn’t always go with technology) The self manage lighting allows for you level of brightness- love it

    The lamb korma had maybe 2 larger pieces of lamb and about 4 med-small pieces. It was mostly sauce, which while delicious, does not warrant the price. The server was not at their best and still added a 20% tip for a “large party” (there were 5 at the table) and didn’t mention the tip was added until a member of our group noticed it. It was the first time at Saffron for 4 of the people and 2 of them said they may get it to go but probably won’t be dining in again because of the experience.

    Amazing cocktails and great food. Had one issue with the tandoori chicken not being cooked all the way but it was fixed immediately and so impressed. We can’t wait to go back!

    Saffron continues to grow , change and innovate! Loved the new twist on dinner serving plates, beautiful! The cozy nook caught my eye this visit, the beautiful painting on the wall in the nook, lovely little area. These paintings are also on display in the banquet room and lounge. After all our visits I noticed how beautiful these pieces are. It is all these subtle beautiful touches that enrich the Saffron experience. As always the food was outstanding and cooked with just the right spice and requested taste. The Saffron team in the front of the house and behind the scenes handled a very busy evening with grace and exceptional service. We always enjoy our dinners and feel so welcome when we dine at Saffron.

    We went to Saffron for Valentine’s Day. As you might expect, the place was really hopping - but Sagar & Rocky’s front-of-house team kept things moving, and Chef Bhattari’s kitchen didn’t miss a beat. We tried the special tasting menu, and everything arrived at our table perfectly cooked and beautifully presented, from the fantastic scallop appetizer to the duck breast main. Chef’s flavors are out of this world - loved the sauce with the crab cakes, and the delicate seasoning of the sea bass. And the dining room is one of the more beautiful and comfortable settings in Omaha. Great evening!

    Some of THE absolute best food in town, Indian or not. I always get the veg samosas and we obnoxiously make so many noises while eating them. Cocktails are incredible. It’s such a beautiful place. It used to be my yoga studio so good vibes are apart of the walls. Can’t recommend enough.

    Saffron never disappoints! We have tried several things on the menu and love all of them. The atmosphere is upscale and modern which we also love. Service is great. The lassi is the closest I’ve ever had outside of India.

    Wow, what a wonderful experience at Saffron! From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed into a special place. The ambiance was classy, busy crowd for a Friday evening but we made reservations and were seated right away. The server was extremely friendly, and the food was over the moon. We started with a Mumbai cocktail which was a spin on a Manhattan and a gin martini made with Jin Jiji Indian gin. Both were so great we had a second round. We then shared ground beef samosas and naan bread (best simosas I’ve ever had), then ordered lamb biranyi and lamb vindaloo. Absolutely delicious. Finished the evening with a delicious sample of three flavors of ice cream. Highly recommend Saffron, we will be back!

    The food was impeccable --I've been craving an encore ever since. Our server was friendly and professional without hovering or interrupting our conversation. Wine selection was impressive and included nice wines at a reasonable price as well as higher end options. The décor is really beautiful--the only notes I have are: softer lighting at night would make everything feel sexier and more special; and bar code menus force diners to be on their phones instead of engaging with each other, the server, the atmosphere. I had trouble connecting with the wifi, so the first 15 minutes after I sat down, I felt like I was at a meeting, not a nice dinner out with friends. When the check came, it was also electronic so had to be paid whilst our server was standing right there, which was awkward and felt rushed. I'm 💯 for paperless, but I think the execution needs to be workshopped to make the first and last impressions of an otherwise fabulous dining experience more seemless. I truly loved Saffron, though, and can't wait to return.
