   Food was good/not great Happy hour oysters were very very small - almost nonexistent - very disappointing for a seafood restaurant with a limited menu that features oysters Regular oysters served to other tables were significantly larger

It allows ingredients to rotate. 2. We order limited quantity of each Oyster, then we serve the next to ensure freshness. Sizes vary based on the species, and the table next to you may have received the diff oysters. Size doesn't determine quality nor price. Unfortunately we can't control the size.    I loved their happy hour and price fixe menu. I have been a fan of this place since they opened. I'm thrilled to be able to return post pandemic- I love this place and highly recommend their oysters. Their French fries are wonderfully delicious. The staff are a group of angels and I can't wait to come back!!

   This place seemed to be all the rage so we checked it out. Not a formal place by any means - was not expecting the lack of atmosphere and ambiance. Menus were printed on plain white paper - not a traditional menu but something that looks like someone made at kinkos before their shift. Had the oysters - a lot of sand grit and shells. Sat next to a very loud group of people celebrating a birthday (not the restaurants fault) tried to get waiter’s attention to ask to move tables but gave up after 15 minutes of him avoiding eye contact with us. Our main courses (cavatelli and risotto) were not very good at all - neither of us finished them. I wouldn’t recommend this place for a nice dinner out.

   Came for restaurant week and me and my friend were blown away by our meal. So delicious and flavorful. Love the vibes, the table next to us was a little loud but other than that it was a great first experience in a great restaurant.

   I came here for my birthday with my boyfriend. It was so nice and special. The food was delicious (especially the oysters). Really happy I chose to dine here for a nice relaxing birthday dinner😊

    We had a really enjoyable meal on a cold, wet and otherwise bleak New York night. The service was on point and the food was excellent! I would highly recommend leaving room for dessert.

    The menu was COMPLETELY different from what was posted on the restaurant's website. Although we were very disappointed, the staff graciously gave us complimentary glasses of wine.

    A great place with excellent food and service at a very nice and cozy - low key environment. Everything was fresh, and prepared with love. The attention to details was something that surprised us in a great way. Definitely will be going back. Saved it to our favorites!

    Marvelous and interesting flavors. My favorite was the fluke, but each dish was intriguing and excellent. There were unique flavors is each and every bite. I can’t wait to return. The wait staff was engaging and took time to describe each dish. Yumm

    Great craft cocktails at the bar, then seated for dinner. We especially enjoyed the Brussel sprouts, dressed oysters and chicken skewers. Would absolutely come back and recommend to friends!

    Apparently one year the management team changed. The decor changed. The menu became shorter. Nonetheless the service remains both efficient and friendly, four dishes were excellently prepared, prices were in line with that area of the city. While I preferred the prior menu, I have nothing else to quibble about.

    My partner and I came here for a Saturday night date. We ordered the Prix Fixe with the drink pairing. They really were excellent combinations. The food was well spaced out so we neither felt rushed, full or too tipsy from the drinks. Really lovely service, a little hard hear the waiter every now and then but we enjoyed the food. The caviar oyster, mushroom scallops and cavatelli really stood out. Will come again. Also the place really filled up later in the evening so it's lively!

    Sagaponack has been a go-to for a good NYC restaurant experience for a few years. We haven't been there in a couple of years, and it seems they may have cut back on the menu variety, but what they served was very tasty. The surprise of the (Tuesday) evening, was how empty the place was, at least in comparison to past years when the whole bar area was packed and tables pretty full at 6:30. Shows what the effect of few office/local workers has on so many restaurants. The seafood risotto was excellent, though not overwhelming in volume; that was made up by their single dessert, a monstrous slice of Thai Milk Cake, big enough for 3 people to share.
