Great service and our pull apart bread, pizza, fried chicken and pulled pork burger were delicious!! I’d give 5 stars across the board except I’m old and found it quite noisy. Had to shout to speak to my dinner companions. Waiter Tyler was great

Great place. Food was great. Servers friendly but they rushed us out the door. Didn’t ask if we wanted a second drink and food came so quickly. Felt like we were at an airport trying to catch a plane.

First impression was how LOUD it is. We had to shout at each other to be heard. The food needed seasoning. It's the first time I have ever had to ask for salt. Service was pretty good, but certainly didn't feel like they enjoyed working there. We won't be back.

Excellent experience. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, which is a rarer gift than it should be. The food was sophisticated without being pretentious. All around, it was an experience we look forward to having again.

Amazing good and great ambiance, beautiful location. Food was delicious with many great options! Staff was very friendly, but unfortunately service was extremely slow that night, especially to order and get cutlery. Would also be great if they had mock tails or more non-alcoholic options! However, I will definitely be back as food was great!

Food was generally good and service was fine given how busy it was. Major complaint was the size of our table. We were a party of 5 and sat at one of the round tables near the back of the restaurant. This table was probably better suited for 2-3 people. There was hardly any room for us to have a drink and plate each, and that made for an uncomfortable evening.

Great view. A bit noisy for general conversation but not too bad. Pepperoni pizza was great. Haddock tacos very good but salad a bit bland. Good selection of drinks especially local beers. Staff were great and service was quick. Would visit again.

Wow thank you for an amazing evening the food was fantastic. The drinks were so tasty and the ambience was just what we were looking for amazing location and decor. Our server Hailey was the best. I am in the industry and have restaurants. And she was so good she is a keeper for sure. Thank you so much for an awesome experience

The staff are attentive and courteous, and the food was nothing short of exceptional. It's evident that the restaurant values customer satisfaction and strives to provide a memorable dining experience. It's a delightful experience with one minor setback - on top of the the talking noise from other guests, I found that the volume of the music was slightly too loud, making it difficult to have comfortable conversations with the other people at the table. My mother in law, who's hard of hearing, was having the hardest time joining in on the conversations, and we found ourselves having to yell to be heard. I would like to emphasize that this is a small critique in an otherwise exceptional dining experience and would wholeheartedly recommend it to others seeking a remarkable dining experience.

What a spot, the restaurant itself is so nice and the view is pretty nice too!! Was very happy with the service, someone wether it was our waitress or not was refilling our water and asking if we needed anything, very friendly staff! Was very happy with our Brunch, the food was great I can’t wait to go back for Dinner sometime… Ps if you haven’t had the peanut butter and jelly scone yet you are missing out 😉

The patio was really nice however, it was the worst service I have had in Halifax. After 30 minutes of waiting for our order to be taken we had to flag down a waitress. We later found out that our waitress went for a coffee break and returned 45 minutes later. Would not recommend if you’re in a hurry!

Had an amazing brunch at Salt + Ash. The food was inventive and delicious. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Drink service was a little slow but it appeared they may have been down in staff. Food service was very quick and food was piping hot. It is a very bright yet cozy and welcoming space. Will definitely be back.

The food was good but my girlfriend wanted mashed potatoes with her cod and we were told that they do not advise this as it would mess with the Presentation. However she still wanted the potatoes so it forced us to order them separately costing more money. We won't be back
