It was ok. Nothing special. Limited brunch menu. The popover and chicken complete with deep fried (from frozen) tatter tots was dry and mediocre.

Outstanding service! Our server was amazing and the kitchen was super easy to deal with a table food allergy. Food was super tasty as one in our party described it as. Right on the waterfront and has a great beach house vibe!

The food was delicious, I don’t usually like lamb but it was so good here. The meals for the table are a lot of food and a good price. I found it very loud and it seemed like every table was yelling. I’d say it’s more of a group night out vibe than a date vibe.

Poor food selection, fries with everything. :( The brussels sprouts were undercooked and so hard and bitter, other than the bitterness taste they had not taste. And my single margarita was $25. I was not told there was an additional $12 charge to change from the disgusting gasoline tequila to a mediocre tequila. I was not aware of that until my bill came. That was quite a surprise and very disappointing. I would never have paid $25 for one single margarita. It was so loud in there and we were sad behind the hostess station and I had to wear my coat the whole time because they kept the second door open and every time the first door open, the cold air came right in I absolutely would never return. Worst dinning experience in downtown Halifax. Definitely be sticking to my usual spots such as the bicycle thief.

Menu is limited and portion size is small. Had the haddock and clams. It comes with cocos. I asked if I could have rice that said no but I could have fries with it. Fries were very salty. Haddock was good small portion for $28. It came with 3 clams in the shell and a scallion. My partner had the fish and chips. Her portion size was better. Fish lightly breaded. But again it was salty as were the fries. My Fiend’s wife had the fish and fries and she agreed food was salty. Her husband had the pizza with brother’s meat. He found his pizza good but again it was salty. They drinks were fine but they only have craft beer, spirits and wine. No domestic beer. They view is wonderful and the atmosphere was nice. Waiter was top notch. I would go again maybe for a drink. It is very popular so it must be something right. Not for me so I would not recommend it for my big eaters friend. But my son said that younger crowd to middle age like it

Service was fantastic and a great view of the harbour. Food was tasty although the flank steak was perhaps overpriced for the quantity. Very noisy and robust customer base making for a lively environment

When order was received it came with fries and had some sort of flour batter that one of our group could not eat due to a sensitivity. When the waiter was informed he graciously substituted for tater tots that he said were definitely not battered. When they arrived they were definitely battered and deep fried and were so greasy you could feel it coming out of them when you bit into them. Everyone’s meal was greasy to the point that the food was sitting in it. One person had rum and maple cod. It was tasteless/ greasy and undercooked. Very disappointed in this restaurant. We were in town for our son’s graduation and thought it would be a nice place to eat from the web page description. It was very noisy, and the food was terrible. I would rate it as about the same quality as a fast food drive through restaurant.

We were seated at their dockside patio facing the harbour underneath a set of heat lamps. The atmosphere and views were wonderful. We had two cocktails, the crystal crescent and the cove. Highly recommend the cove as a starter cocktail. We split the kale caesar salad, which was quite good and a decent size portion considering the size of our entrées. I had the haddock fish and chips, which was incredible, some of the best I've ever had, and very good considering we are spoiled with fresh halibut on the west coast. My wife had the rum and maple roasted cod. We thought the dish was cooked well, but the rum and maple flavour did not come through enough for us. Overall, we felt that this dish could have been seasoned more. We requested salt, and this improved the dish. A solid experience overall and definitely worth a visit!
