Come and experience one of Salt Spring Island's most popular restaurants. and the "centrepiece" of Ganges Village, the heart of our island. With indoor dining close to the cozy fireplace and seasonal outdoor patio tables surrounded by flowers, we are an island favourite. Our menu includes a wide variety of different dishes from West Coast comfort foods to daily specials that often include regional seafood and local lamb. Saturday breakfast and Sunday Brunch are weekend hits. We favour locally farmed, seasonal vegetables, craft cheeses, beer, wines, smoked tofu and wild cider.

we had a nice dinner at the Inn. service was excellent, and fast (as usual). food was really good. nice ambiance with almost all tables occupied. we appreciated the special menu for Thanksgiving. we'll be back.

The crab cakes with a lovely fresh salad were good and ample. The wild salmon was a little dry but the sauce served with the fish was delicious. Fish and chips were good. The lamourghini (lamb burger) wad good. The food isn’t gourmet but is great value for money. I would recommend highly for casual dining

My wife had the steak, I had crab cakes. For both of us the food was absolutely delicious! Fruit crumble and cheesecake for desert. Yumm! The servers were attentive and very friendly and genuinely pleasant. Comfortable seating . Over all a wonderful experience.

Had the fish and chips and pleasantly surprised. Cole slaw and tartar sauce were fresh. (Not so at Moby's.) Service is quite good, as well. We sat outside, so rather noisy, obviously.

My husband and I ordered lamb burgers, which when they arrived were served on dry, stale buns, which we had to discard in order to eat them. In addition my husband’s burger was over cooked and dry and he couldn’t eat his. The waitress indicated she would discount the meal and when the check arrived told us there was a 15% discount on the entire check, which meant a $7.32 savings. When we said this was not significant she got very defensive and said it was the owner’s policy, not her’s. She refused to take a tip from us and instead just wanted to rush us out of the restaurant. We left a cash tip for her on the table. At no time I. The conversation with her were we combative or argumentative. It was very awkward and very uncomfortable.

Great meal and service, warm and welcoming atmosphere. We eat here often and it’s consistently a good experience. Same dedicated, friendly staff for years which tells you something good is happening here. The daily specials are great as are the regular entrees. Good sized portions and reasonable prices. The salads and veggies are fresh. Theres good options for beer, wine and cocktails and best desserts in town. Could be a little more creative in non alcoholic offerings. But not a big deal. Love this place.

Everything was very good. It was a bit cold outside and it would have been nice if they had heaters, which they did not. They did supply blankets which was nice and helpful. Also, my family and I were all a bit turned off by the plastic tables and chairs. It would be much nicer if these were made of wood. The restaurant is nice enough to justify the cost of wood and plastic brings the overall quality down somewhat.

Our young waiter whose name I wish I knew was very cheerful and caring. He was inundated with orders but a smile was on his face and he sincerely was interested in making our time together an enjoyable eating experience.

Always a favorite stop for a SSI getaway! Consistently delicious! My husband and I shared the organic greens, he had a burger and I had the lasagna. We split a half liter of wine. Great service and such a quaint spot!
