   Great food and a lot of fun to order multiple smaller dishes for sampling of a wide range of flavours. We also really appreciated the waiters' patience with us asking for yet another small dish!

   Went to Saltlik Calgary for my husband's birthday dinner, just the two of us. Food was outstanding. Service amazing. When they found out it was my husband's birthday, they gave us both a complimentary glass of bubbly, which was over and above amazing. Thank you so much for make the night extra special. We will definitely be back!

   Service was phenomenal! Food was excellent. Steak was a little salty, but then to be expected when your name is Saltlik. Ambience was very good in secluded booth with window view. Appies and accompaniments were excellent.

   Food was ok and not worth the price. Service was mediocre at best. For example, drink orders were taken, and it took nearly 20 minutes for the drinks to get to the table…and they weren’t busy! Service was lax,

    Service was good and most of our food was very good. The one exception in our party of four was my sirloin steak sandwich that should have been “medium” but was “medium-rare” and was barely warm when it was served. Otherwise, we enjoyed all our other food and wine. Pricing was on the high side.

    Food was absolutely amazing and the service top notch! Our server Ashley went above and beyond. We were accommodated from the moment we walked in the door trying to find a table that would fit our infant carrier and even offering to find a teaspoon she could entertain herself with. They helped us celebrate a special occasion in our life, everyone was friendly! Highly recommend!

    Food prices as a whole are so far out of reach, not just in your establishment, but a an industry. It is getting harder and harder to justify eating out and for so many out of reach for families. When a salad is over $20, it's gone too far! humans population response above, not geared towards the Saltlik, more the inflation and cost of consumers as a greater issue here.

    Greatly appreciated how Ashley’s upbeat and determined attitude approached (to find an tasteful glass of wine for me)! She even opened a fresh bottle, and asked the sommelier to stop by our table! He was also very positive and resolved my wine dilemma within minutes. Really enjoyed the wine with the rest of my fabulous dinner. All of the staff were noticeably pleasant, attentive, and helpful, and collegial. Well done Saltlik team! Thank-you very much!

    We came for lunch and the venue did not disappoint. Our food came out quickly after ordering. Pasta was delicious and an appropriate lunch size portion but for the price, you may be expecting more. Burgers were huge. Love the ambiance, good spacing between tables. Overall we would come back.

    We booked dinner at Saltlik strictly because of the name. Coming from Victoria BC, I haven’t ever been to Calgary so I was rolling the dice any place I chose. Had to go with the name. For starters… stop it with that Beeswax Old Fashioned!!!! EXCEPTIONAL! I’ve drank my way across Victoria looking for the best OF, and this out beats even the best! Well done! The Vanity Fair too??? My word! Your cocktail list has at least two stars on it! The meal was delightful! I kept repeating “this is exceptional!” The steak was perfectly cooked, the Brussels sprouts were better than even mine (hard to beat) and I can’t host enough of the Lobster Mashed. If you’re reading this and balking at the price. Just stop. Get it. Thank me later. Honestly, start to finish, the service, the offering of bubbles for my birthday, drinks being top notch, food being perfectly done, I wish I had more use for being in Calgary more often! You’re doing fantastic things here! 10/10

    My husband and I ordered steak and it was very juicy and tender. Could have given 5 star of everything but there’s just two little issues: 1) way too noisy 2) the food came out slow because it was a Saturday night (Valentine’s week) All the waitress/waitors were friendly and welcoming. We didn’t feel disrespected at all. The usher asked why we chose saltlik that night. 11 years ago, my husband and I dined here before we even started dating. That’s when I knew this gentlemen has feelings for me… and now we have two kids! The usher congratulated us with complimentary champagne. Thank you for giving us such a lovely night without the kids

    The ambiance of the restaurant had change since my last visit, it was more like a Canadian Brewhouse than then Saltlik I remember. The steak was ok, apparently the chef doesn’t do Chicago style …aka burnt Drinks were ok… but the time to get the next one was more than a upscale restaurant should be. For Downtown Calgary “fine dining/steakhouse” I won’t be back unless someone else is buying with a gift card they found…

    We did not have cutlery when our food came out , the waiter forgot my drink and the filet mignon was not worth $57. The fries were very average. This restaurant seems more pub style than classy. It was also so loud you can’t even talk at your table. Was expecting a lot more for a $200 dollar meal.
