   the oysters were good. The clam linguini was very ordinary and it didn't taste like parmesan reggiano. The sandwich (bah mi) was really not good and too expensive. The bread was soaked and I bit down on a piece of chili which made my lips and mouth on fire. We were very disappointed and our waitress only asked if we liked the wine, which says a lot because my plate was full of the sandwich.

   Delicious fish and chips, nice service and great music. However the wine on the price list and the price on our receipt was not the same and we noticed it afterwards.

   Was such a treat! Atmosphere, food and service was amazing. On the pricier side BUT definitely worth it. Will be returning for all our date nights when we treat ourselves to something a bit more special !

   If your kitchen closes at 9pm, why take 8:30pm reservations? Food was very good, but the entire meal felt extremely rushed as staff were eager to close up.

   -Patio screened porch should have some sort of window covering to provide a comfortable atmosphere for eating so you are not sitting directly in the hot sun. -Swordfish ad was ambiguous..ie "oz" looked like fish was $16.00. -Splitting the "bill" not satisfactory when one couple's order was higher than the others & the waitress should have given us the opportunity to sort it out before paying -Our waitress did a great job & arranged for us to sit inside to finish out drinks

   La nourriture était bien. Les huîtres délicieuses. Toutefois, les prix sont hors charte. J'ai été très surprise de recevoir une addition de 280$ pour 5 fish and chips (2 adultes 3 du menu enfant) et une douzaine d'huîtres. Je n'y retournerai pas.

    Although the appetizer and main was really great the noise level was a little too much. We had liquids splashed on us twice from staff dropping or spilling dishes nearby. We also saw and heard the bartender and another staff member getting into an argument. The dessert was a complete disappointment with little creativity and off tasting.

    My husband and I went to dinner and it was amazing. The fish and chips are so fresh and the bahn mi sandwich was so worth it. Definitely a must try when your in the area!

    The ambiance and decor are fun. Service is good. Food is delicious but, IMO small on the portion size for the high prices. Also, of note, the new 2% transaction fees on bills are unfortunate especially if you wanted to pay cash - no compromise there. I used to recommend Sand and Pearl to everyone. Not sure I can anymore.

    Unfortunately the waiter was extremely unprofessional this was demonstrated by feeling rushed by him the whole time we were there which was just 1 hour. In addition he did not know any information about the only two red wines on the menu. He kept calling two mature ladies guys and and he could not show me an itemized bill before I agreed to pay and give him a tip...

    I have to say I was disappointed with our experience. I had been wanting to try this restaurant for two years. I will say that my burger was very good , though not the best I've had and it was definitely not cheap . I'm sure the fish and chips would be the same. Just generally found the prices a bit offensive for such a casual place. We had a $54 lobster sandwich that I will actually say sucked! For $54 dollars it should be spectacular. I told the restaurant they need to modify the recipe and I really hope they do, but even then, thats steep. So overall unfortunately I have to say the only thing above average were the prices. There are some absolutely amazing restaurants in PEC and I think I wouldn't have been so let down had the prices been more reflective of the type of food being served.

    Where to begin? We have been to Sand & Pearl before and while we thought it was definitely overpriced my family loves seafood & the fun, family friendly atmosphere so we like so come here when visiting the county. This time I was about to order the tuna nicoise but was recommended the special by our server, which was a sockeye salmon with her side sauce. She said the chef was really excited about it. When I re-iterated that I still wanted the tuna she again stressed how delicious the special was. So I caved and ended up ordering it since I had been considering it before anyway. When it came it was one giant filet of salmon absolutely drowning in the saltiest, richest congealed “bernaise” sauce. You couldn’t even see the salmon. The salmon was dry and way over cooked. There was absolutely nothing else on the plate. No rice or potatoes to soak up some of the sauce or greens to cut the richness. This was $65! It was utterly inedible. I ate a few bites, and my family each tried a bite but we did not get through even a third of the salmon. Nevertheless when we told our server (who was very sweet & apologetic) and she went to tell the manager who was talking to people at the next table to ours, he refused to come and talk to us. Our server asked if we wanted a take out container to bring it home but since none of us would eat it later we ended up leaving it. She was sweet enough to use her employee discount to take off 50% of the special but the fact that the manager would not stand by his own food or care that guests were unhappy after paying those ridiculous prices was disgusting. This dish would have been ok for a table to share with a bunch of sides but at no time were we told this should be for 2 or more people. It was an absolute joke of a dish for one person & the behavior of the manager forcing his teenage server to deal with us was so off putting. They should be able to stand by their food but he was obviously embarrassed by the quality of that disgusting dish.

    The hostess had a terrible attitude. Not personal at all. The waitress was better but I had to call her to place my dinner order. when we said we are paying with cash and to take off the transaction fee the service got worse. The manager said no matter what you get charged a transaction fee of 2%. I don’t care about the amount but be honest with extra fees. Don’t call it a transaction fee if it’s not. I don’t appreciate being lied to. I run a million dollar business and don’t try to increase cost in a sneeky way.

    The waiter didn’t show us the bill before we pay. It have a mistake in the order. The wine was not de same we had ordered. And we pay much expensive. It’s really not fair. The oyster was really good but expensive.

    Nourriture fraiche et très bonne.Par contre nous étions assies dehors avec les moustiques, les enfants et les chiens qui couraient....pour un souper à ce prix (grosse facture), nous nous serions attendus à plus de calme, disons!

    Great place for those on vacation in the area and who want a casual, relaxing dinner. There’s space in the back for kids to run around while parents enjoy dinner. Great opportunity to discover local wine/beer. Food and service are great. A bit on the pricey side.

    Service was amazing. Very informative and helpful. Sad a lot of of specials were sold out, but we did have a late reservation, so it’s understandable. The ceviche was amazing!

    It is overprice for a simple but fun place with a very convivial service. We took the clam spaghetti at 36$ and finally it was 38$. A lobster 1 1/2 poud was 80$ and oyster aroud 4$ each. It was more expensive than in a chic brasserie in Paris ans i just don'y understand.

    Cute restaurant near Sandbanks beach. We enjoyed the covered patio in the front. Fresh seafood with great service. Oysters were AMAZING. Prices are reasonable for quality, but would’ve liked side dishes included. $54 lobster sandwich was a treat and think including slaw or fries is a reasonable expectation. Good local wines and beers. Great atmosphere.

    Great food. Overall, a good experience. Our server, Moira, was very personable and excellent. A lot of young servers working hard. The manager walked around checking in with everyone around us except our table. I really noticed this. I had to say hello to him, in order for him to engage and be polite to us. People, who dine often, would notice this. Parking is a real issue here. They must do better to solve this problem. The manager was trying to get someone to squeeze by my vehicle. Someone almost hit it. He said, “I have it covered,” when he clearly didn’t. Won’t go back due to the parking issue. The food and drinks were great.

    Outrageous prices for what you get. The fish and chips were oily and soggy. The burger was four out of 10. Overall selection not great and shocking that prices are not put on the website. I can’t imagine buying a seafood tower or lobster or crab it would be so disappointing.

    While the prices can be a bit on the higher side, the food quality and service made the overall experience worth it. We will be returning! Our only wish was that there was more selection on the wine menu, especially more local options, but that's more of a personal wish rather than a critique of the restaurant.

    The staff were awesome and super friendly . The food was good we had fish and chips and clam linguine. No complaints it was tasty if not mind blowing. Patio is great very child and dog friendly. There is a big area for kids to play out back and a fire pit. It’s pricey but they are in a prime location close to the beach so that’s to be expected.
