A day sure to be full of fantastic company, laughter & joy, let us take the stress of catering for your loved ones away from you & relax with us on this special day. To ease your afternoon even further, we will be taking a pre-order from our guests prior to dining with us. Pre-payment for the afternoon will be required upon making your reservation. Refunds will be honoured up until the 30th of November 2023, after this date refunds will be up to our discretion.     This was a family get together for a birthday. Up market brasserie style. Lovely presentation of food and Jamie’s Newport style coming through strongly in the dishes. The Rack of lamb was spectacular as was the Pollack dish. The staff were great: very attentive, friendly and professional. We feel lucky to have this fab eaterie on our doorstep in The Ferry

    Would highly recommend sandbanks brasserie. Genuinely one of the best meals I’ve had at a restaurant in recent memory. The food was delicious and well priced for the very high quality. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the restaurant had a welcoming, intimate atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back and I have already recommended tofriends and family

    Enjoyed a lovely lunch with family , food was excellent and would highly recommend it to anyone. Only downside was we felt the restaurant was a bit chilly a little warmer would have made the experience much better but on the whole we had a lovely time

    Was quite disappointed. We were sat upstairs and there was not much atmosphere. There was music playing but it was very low and quite close to other tables so could hear everyone’s conversations. Was not very impressed with the food. We had starters, fried chicken but the chicken tasted a bit off. We both then had the burger and chips. The chips were extremely greasy and tasted as though they had been over fried, it was like there was no potato left in them. I ordered a Prosecco and before I even tasted it I knew it was flat as there was no bubbles. I said to the server and another was brought to me but this also was flat. The servers were very attentive and polite but not quick at clearing glasses from our table. Sorry for the negative review but we were really disappointed in the food and personally the prosecco for me.

    Staff a bit young and inexperienced, like an earlier review had to wait ages trying to attract attention to order first glass of wine.. Viognier wasn't chilled sufficiently but we drank it anyway. I think we made bad menu choices. Would have preferred the oysters without sauce (they were excellent but overpowered - suggestion serve the sauce on the side.... ) I am not a fan of bitter orange sauce with my duck but my bad for choosing that dish - I hadn't correctly interpreted the menu description. Overall I felt the great natural flavours were masked in strong sauces.

    The restaurant was too bright, noticed another room had a nicer ambience. The service was not great. Food was nice, but my friend didn’t like hers. The burger was rare and she doesn’t like rare meat. Advice on this at the ordering stage would have been better.

    If you like a 'Sunday Roast' ...you have GOT to visit the Sandbanks Brasserie ... we did yesterday ... one of the best 'Sunday Roasts' that I've eaten

    Second visit since you opened and again food and service was great.Staff are very friendly and helpful and they couldn’t do enough for us .Definitely can’t wait to return and would recommend to friends

    The food was excellent. Couldn’t fault any of the dishes. Service however was not to the same standard. We ordered cocktails, a glass of wine to accompany starter. The starter arrived before any drinks. In the end I went to the bar and picked up the drinks myself which had been there for a few minutes. Wine for main course came on time. I got my cheese course without any cutlery. I asked for a port with the cheese and the waiter said ok. I got a dessert wine and when I queried it I was told they don’t serve port.

    Very nice meal with a broad choice of offering for mains and starters. Dessert choice not particularly inspiring mainly utilising companies bakery offerings. Fried chicken starter was very nice as was the pork cutlet, on which the cook was perfect. The other main ordered was the duck which had a very generous portion but the breast was under medium rare. The tight room doesn't lend itself well for ambience, service was generally good throughout the meal.

    Food was nice enough but could have been warmer. No choice given on how steaks were cooked. Stains on the waiting staff apron! A little bit pricey compared to comparative restaurant in the same area.

    Fabulous first visit to this restaurant. Quiet night for them but that did not change the range and quality of the food on offer which was exceptional. Very attentive service and the food was presented well and portions were generous. A very different experience to the Newport (owned by the same chef) but the quality of the food is no less. Enjoyed our visit with friends and will definitely be booking again.

    We went to Sandbanks for the first time last night. The service, food and drinks were fabulous 10/10. However the end of the evening was slightly marred by being ushered out after 90 minutes due to the table being required back. The OpenTable slot showed 2 hours and we were told when we sat down, but walking away with my coffee in a cup and no opportunity for dessert just was not quite the ending we expected. Please don't let this review put you off it's a great restaurant but be mindful of the fact that a 90 minute cover turnaround maybe expected. We didn't have room for dessert due to the Chateaubriand being huge and delicious!

    BOOK HERE NOW! This restaurant is OUTSTANDING and the atmosphere, coziness and humble familiarity of the staff make this restaurant one of the best I’ve been to in some time. The cinnamon bun. I’m speechless. Stunning. If you don’t order it, you’re missing out on a pillow of light, suety cloud of cinnamon and you will regret this!
