El local muy ruidoso, se viene a cenar no a bailar. No se podía mantener una conversación normal. Lo que comimos no estaba mal pero lo consideramos un precio excesivo, una ensalada compartida y dos platos de salmón, 150$, eso sin tomar vino. Un Restaurante con un Chef con referencias no es motivo para cobrar estos precios. Lo siento pero salimos muy decepcionados del lugar.

Delicious! We ordered the octopus, ahi tuna skewers and arroz con pollo and it was all very tasty. This felt like elevated Puerto Rican food but the elevation of presentation did not compromise the flavor profiles at all! Definitely recommend.

Food was good, service was good, not so good was where we were seated. Had to sit at the bar because restaurant was supposedly booked. We sat at the bar, were there 2.5 hours and 90% of the restaurant had open tables. Also let’s not forget the $10 valet parking, that you have no choice in getting…..

I was extremely disappointed, I have been to almost all the “fancy” places in PR. My brother told me That this was the best, but that wasn’t my experience. The waiter didn’t explain, recommended or do anything for us. Everything we order were average at best.

Food was AMAZING and service was excellent. I had the Tamarind Margarita to die for . The appetizers Alcapurria and Wagyu sliders were sooo good . Shrimp with Trifongo as entree was excellent too and the arroz Mamposteao taste like heaven . 100 % recommended. DELICIOUS

For a fine restaurant experience is more like a cocktail lounge who serve food. The service is subpar and the fastest was when they ask when you arrive if you have a reservation(duh!) and when the bring you the check without asking. Its like to go an upscale cafeteria.

We love Santaella! The best authentic experience in San Juan. The flavors are spot on and everything is perfect from Jose's food to the staff, decor.
