   Gary our server was very friendly and the appetizers and food were very good. The dessert was made table side and was also very delicious. We’d definitely hear back on our next trip.

   the view is great. service was great but not impressed with attire the waiters wear. food was average & it should be amazing at those prices. charging to split a plate is tacky--really?

   Lasagna was one of the best I've ever had, shrimp fettuccine was good. Just needed a bit more seasoning. Would be great with Cajun shrimp. Overall would definitely go back.

   I was not happy with the entre I ordered. The pasta was very pasty and not much flavor. I doubt whether I would order that again. I was also disappointed that the menu was very limited.

   Service was subpar. We requested for appetizer plates that were never brought to the table, and we had to wait to get our waters filled. The food was good, and I'm sure we will go back due to the quality of the food, but service was lacking.

    I was really looking forward to eating here and maybe that was my problem - it turned out to be just okay. I’m not sad that we came but I don’t know if I would return before checking out some other Italian places in town. The view was great however!

    An incredible view of Lake Tahoe puts an extra star on the value and ambiance rating! The food and service were top-notch. Wine list is extensive and the server made recommendations which complimented the meal. Menu was priced appropriately for portion and quality. Will visit again.

    Service was great. Very friendly staff. Food was hit and miss. Carpaccio appetizer was delish as was the special of the night, lobster ravioli. The Strigoloni pasta with veal ossobuco was not visually pleasing and tasted average. Had they shredded the meat rather than having round uniform sliced veal medallions and added more color than just brown on brown. In addition, the pasta was over cooked. The wine selection was nice and cocktails were perfect. May go back and sit in the bar and order cocktails and appetizers and enjoy the gorgeous view.

    Excellent food. The mushroom raviolis and meat are most savory! Salads are tasty. The views are spectacular! On the down side, the wait staff forgot about us for a bit and did not give accurate information about the wine.

    Zack our server was knowledgeable and great! The food was delicious and we will be back! The mushroom ravioli was absolutely fantastic! The rolled lasagna was a bit oily but was still very tasty. The canoli and ricotta pistachio with orange marmalade was delicious! We had a couple drinks as well that were great!

    Service was great, nice view, food was not appetizing. Had to send back entree because it was tasteless. Meatball appetizer was great. Sister restaurant at the El Dirado in Reno surpasses Sapori by a mile. Don't waste your time or money. They didn't even take time to iron the tablecloths, they were creased and wrinkled.

    Great experience. Lots of friendly attentive service compared to down the hall. Food was excellent we had the must have starter, the shrimp scampi, and the lobster ravioli. Tables are spaced nicely and rival Friday stations views. We live locally and can’t wait to try the other selections on the menu.

    Overall, great place to dine with kids. Also a beautiful view for parents secretly looking for a tiny spark of romance while dining out with the kids ha ha! We had the first reservation for the night so we were seated immediately. Although no separate menu for kids & before we even asked, our waiter, Don recommended several items with kid-friendly descriptions (menu had fancy words & Italian names) directly to our kids. Diavolo & fresh fettuccine (sans basil) had rave reviews. Butternut squash soup, spinaci & Bistecca were simple but delicious too. Don was very attentive and the flow of service was so smooth - we were out within the hour (parents appreciate that)! We were too full for dessert but we’ll be back for it next time :)

    Server was not attentive at all. Forgot our bread. Needed a bread plate and didn't get it. Only checked on us twice. Unnecessary comment about our ability that we finished our food and how most don't finish.

    The food was not exceptional as you’d expect for the price. Carbonara was very heavy, too much cream- not “a touch”. Other dishes were similar, not delicate flavors, too heavy.
