   Had a wonderful lunch Deviled Eggs....creamy with touch of heat from the mustard. Popover wild mushroom scrambled was superb Garden omelet was loaded with fresh vegetables cooked perfectly Both eggs dishes were large enough that we could have split one dish Sparkling rose and rose by the glass were very tasty and well priced Service was attentive and very accomodating

   Always a solid! When I’m not sure what I want or where to eat, Sarabeth’s always delivers a great experience. Had the brunch Tonato Soup and Cheese Sandwich. So good in a cool day. Highly recommended and will definitely be back!

    I have had breakfast/brunch at Sarabeths numerous times. The menu had pretty much anything one could want for breakfast. Their popovers are fabulous! The restaurant is faily quiet, so conversation is actually possible. Highly recommend@

    What prevents me from giving an overall 5 is the waiter. He was extremely rude and kept telling us he would be back and then never coming back. I asked him a question about their selection of pastries and he could not answer me when asked whether they have scones or muffins. I had to resort to asking the woman standing at the entrance who was very nice and informative. The waiter would not clear the table as we finished a course. He just made us all (all of us locals in the neighborhood) to hesitate coming back and if we were to recommend Sarabeth’s it would be with a large caveat.

    Restaurant Week. Menu is boring, uninspired and tasteless. Hostess was borderline rude and service was spotty. Person on a work call on their laptop was loud and annoying. Poor experience.

    Farmer’s omelette not to be missed - very generous portions. Eggs Benedict excellent as well. Popovers were a nice way to start the meal - light and airy .. excellent with their jams and marmalade. Service was attentive but not overbearing - just right. Neighborhood parking a challenge .. so if you happen to drive - try to scout out a garage that won’t fleece you 😫!

    A lovely place for New Years Eve Dinner! We went at 6pm and there were only a few tables. The service was quick and George our waiter was great. We shared apps and had some great drinks.

    The food was delayed and severed cold. We ordered pancakes and pop overs that were not warm enough to make butter soft, let alone melt. The coffee was cold too. It was not very good at all.

    We reserves a table for 5 and they seated us next to the front door next to many strollers. We were forgotten on the corner and it was really cold. We were there for a friends bday. They forget to serve one of us and brought our her lunch after everyone else had finished. We did not have a good experience

    8:45 AM on a Sunday morning: My husband and son went for the eggs Benedict, regular and lox, both excellent. I ordered wild mushroom scrambled eggs with a popover. The eggs were a revelation - cooked precisely to order with tons of sliced mushrooms, some green onions, and just enough Boursin to make it creamy but not at all cheesy. Best eggs ever. Popover, coffee, juices all great. Service was quick, friendly, and attentive. Worth getting up early for.

    Made a reservation for breakfast since the restaurant is near the Museum of Natural History. My reservation was for 9 am for an indoor table (cold outside!) and was confirmed through the Open Table app. I got a message/reminder the night before that the reservation was for 8:30 am. No worries, we got there early. When we arrived (to a nearly empty restaurant) the hostess announced in a loud voice that since we didn’t specify indoor dining (not true) with our reservation we could either sit at the bar or sit outside! In the 40 degree cold. So we sat at the bar, humiliated. It was extremely cold at the bar since we were right near the front door. The restaurant was not very crowded. Breakfast was good , but expensive, as to be expected. Our bill for two (just eggs and bacon, no alcohol) was $100. I would not have minded any of this except the hostess really ruined the whole experience. She was rude, loud, and condescending. She treated another customer who came in after me the same way and they left.

    This is a tried and true favorite of my family and we were very disappointed today. The coffee was terrible - undrinkable, and the famous baked goods - muffins, scones, etc were cold and extremely dry. The bathrooms were filthy and overall the restaurant did not feel clean.

    I really like Sarabeth's food. The last few times I visited NYC, I had breakfast/brunch with them. Nice place, it has friendly service, and the food is good, and I am a Fat and Fluffy fan - please do not tell my doctor or my trainer.

    This restaurant has stood the rest of time, and for good reason. Not only does it have good value and a capable and welcoming staff (cheers to George, Michelle, the hostess and the manager!), but the food is reliably excellent, from standbys like the perfect chicken pot pie and steak frites to innovations (relatively speaking) like Parmesan coated chicken breast. Dinner is much less crowded than the famous breakfast and brunch, especially on weekends, but it’s a solid lunch and dinner choice, especially on Wednesdays ($25/bottle wine) and Thursdays (jazz).

    Great food as always, but my order was wrong initially. It was immediately fixed, which was great, but this isn't the first time that's happened to me at Sarabeth's, and I wish they'd please pay attention to what I ask for when I place an order.
