Award winning Chef Tracy A. Little connects the guests through her love of the mountains, of food and foraging. The team incorporates this into everything they do with a focus on sustainability and craftsmanship. The servers will guide you in your experience, whether it is an upscale brunch on our south facing patio, high tea surrounded by wildflowers, or a tasting menu dinner experience.     One of the best meals I’ve had in years. Delicate, beautiful presentation, and every course was absolutely delicious. Service was friendly, and the juice pairing with a nice surprise as an option with the meals.

    The meal and service were outstanding. We have recently been to a 3 Michelin star restaurant for a chef’s tasting menu in the US and the tasting menu at Sauvage would give them pretty stiff competition. We did “The Hunter” menu and added the two supplemental dishes. It was the perfect amount of food and each dish was a delicious work of art. Don’t let the price deter you…it’s reasonable for what you get and worth every penny. I highly recommend them!

    Sauvage is a one off unique experience worth the splurge for anyone in the area or visiting. The curators of the food and drink menus bring an exceptional conscientiousness to what they are offering. The staff is very passionate with the creations they get to present. Highly recommend adding the wine pairing. Very intrigued to see what they can create season to season.

    Fabulous all around. The fall tasting menu is just as delicious as the summer tasting menu. Got the extra two plates both times and it was absolutely worth it. Don’t leave out the wine pairing!

    Thanks Tyler for the great service, we enjoyed the tasting menu. The Boar was our favourite dish. Adding the wine pairings was a great recommendation and definitely enhanced the flavours of the seasonal plates.

    This was our best meal in Banff. Tyler, our server, was just excellent! The sustainability, creativity, and reasons for chef choice for the tasting menu were so important and a wonderful part of our experience. We recommend this to all!!

    We both enjoyed the “hunter” 5 course meal and it was delicious! Wonderful and inventive flavour profiles. It is however an extremely meat forward menu. Duck breast, followed by wild boar pork belly, followed by elk steak! Meat eaters rejoice! We had warm attentive service from Lucas, our server, but all the staff we interacted with were fantastic hosts. We also loved the music played in the restaurant. Very Parisian café! Thank you for a lovely evening out! We highly recommend!

    Amazing food, service and atmosphere. Would recommend for anyone visiting Canmore that is interested in the local food scene. We had the Tasting Menu and was delighted by our time here. Tyler helped us while we were there and made the whole experience spectacular. He alone is my reason to recommend and return to Sauvage.

    Absolutely loved this place! The food was outstanding! My husband got the wine pairing and I got the juice pairing. Both made the experience even more fun. We also loved hearing about the story of the food and all the facts about foraging. Our service was amazing. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough!

    Sauvage was fantastic. My Fiancee said multiple times that this was the best meal he ever had in his life. We both got the "hunter" menu, and thoroughly enjoyed everything as well as some cocktails. Loved the locally sourced ingredients and the stories behind the food! Would definitely eat here again!

    We had such an incredible dining experience at Sauvage. Our server, Lucas, was top notch and was extremely knowledgeable about the food and wine and also had a great personality. We were celebrating two birthdays and it was a very memorable evening! If we're ever back in Canmore we will be coming back to enjoy Chef Tracy's delicious, beautiful, and creative menu.

    My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Sauvage this past weekend and everything was incredibly delicious and beautiful: decadent cocktails followed by a seasonal & local (/Canadian) tasting menu with perfect wine pairings. They had no issue accommodating for my allergies, providing custom curated alternatives to two of the dishes. Our server Jen was very knowledgeable, kind, and her timing was impeccable. We’re already planning our next visit… Best dining experience in the Bow Valley!

    Sauvage is offering something so unique to the Bow Valley. With a focus on sustainably foraged mountain woodland products they showcase a depth of flavour but also a depth of love. A Beautifully appointed, perfectly kitchy room, a strong female driven team, really fun wine and cocktail list. It’s just really exceptional and the best choice in the Bow Valley if you need to treat yourself after a hard day in the mountains. They’ll take great care of you!

    Put Sauvage on your Banff bucket list! It was the perfect choice for a special night out and a highlight of our sister’s trip to Banff. I was excited for the foraged and sustainable Canadian fare, which was equal to/better than any Michelin restaurant I’ve dined at (I live in Washington D.C). The Canadian wine/juice pairings were also excellent. Tyler (Jeffrey)‘s attentiveness and good-humored nature made the evening all the more enjoyable.

    This was one of the most amazing meals of my lifetime. Every single bite was bursting with so many different flavors! Every course was delicious! Every wine pairing exact! I highly recommend Sauvage! Loved it! The only wrinkle is that they (like everyone in town) are short-staffed, so the meal went a tad longer than we planned for. However, every bite was worth it!

    This was some of the best, most imaginative food we’ve ever had. The service was phenomenal and the wait staff knew the menu and drinks in intricate detail and were warm and flexible with individual needs. We appreciated that the food was sourced in Canada, and locally foraged in a sustainable manner. I would highly recommend this dining experience, especially for a special night out or a night to have meaningful conversation with a group of people you’d like to connect with.
