   I took my fiancé here after proposing earlier in the day. The Staff at Sauvage helped captivate the special day with such an amazing 7 course meal, that had both of us full and satisfied well into the next day. Each course was so eloquently designed that it was almost too pretty to eat, but tasted just as amazing as it looked.

   Overall a very pleasant experience. Comfortable and welcoming room. Staff are friendly and accommodating to dietary restrictions. Additions to two food servings were delightful but gimmicky with no real purpose. A must try for anyone wishing for a new experience from the typical restaurant fare. Highly recommended!

    I love the brunch at the patio especially when we arrive at the opening it’s basically just us. I wish they will have a little more selection with a bit more description on the brunch menu. Our server did a great job explaining to us. Thanks.

    I always admire a restaurant that serves only a tasting menu and, if you let them, provides you with a well thought out experience. The seasonality if this tasting menu was spot on and portions appropriate. We opted for the seven course menu with wine paring. The staff were attentive and even went to get us some extra Lovage from the garden to take home to grow.

    What a beautiful and thoughtful experience we had dining at Sauvage. My wife and I decided to have a special night in celebration and our dinner exceeded our expectations. Tyler, our host, was fabulous in his food and drink knowledge and was able to weave the local story in each course and helped us feel the concept of “micro-local”. We were grateful to meet with Chef Tracy and hear some of her ideas on foraging and contributing to the food community. Our daughter joined us mid meal and was welcomed with an off menu cocktail she described as “me in a glass”. The food was spectacular in taste and presentation and we will return whenever we get the chance.

    Fantastic meal! Every course was innovative and exciting. Nothing was a disappointment. Price is steep, but a wonderful experience. Drinks were great too. My husband had some lovely cocktails and I tried the wine pairing menu.

    Came in from another province to celebrate a birthday and we were very excited for this reservation. We were met with complimentary glasses of Bubbly and it just got better and better from there. The service, pairings, plating and decor were extraordinary- only outdone by the food! Highly recommend for a treat or special occasion.

    Amuse-bouche was suppose to crack open like an egg and the exterior was too thick and the force to open it created a mess - I saw another table have them same issue and they almost lost theirs as it rolled of their plate. This wasn’t a great introduction plate; however, the courses improved and matured as the meal continued. Some of the later courses were excellent. The service was very good. Overall, we had a nice time. The price is comparable compared to other tasting menus.

    Had planned a very special night out. In anticipation, had decanted an exceptional bottle of wine for 6 hours (had called ahead to ensure corkage was allowed). Brought the bottle to the restaurant and was refused corkage as they personally didn’t open the bottle. While I understand there may be certain rules, I felt the manager was insensitive, and did not handle the situation with class or grace. She did not even have the decency to check in with us during our meal and chose to socialize with other guests instead. I felt this situation could have been handled in a much better manner while allowing all parties to feel understood and our patronage to be appreciated.

However, the manager was not actually working and was told they were required at your table; afterwards, she joined her friend for a drink, which was her prior engagement. She did apologize to you for the law being in place, and I understand that you were upset but I am not sure what else you expected her to do. T

    Amazing place to eat! The staff are so kind, from the host who greeted us at the door, to our server Monique who made the night memorable for our group. We were fortunate to be seated upstairs, and as the only table up there the evening was private and we couldn’t hear anything downstairs, although when we left we saw that the restaurant was quite busy. The food was delicious and such a treat. EVERYTHING was so tasty! I will definitely be back again in the future, thank you to everyone who worked to make our evening special!

    A triumph of combinations of taste, texture, colours and arrangement. This chef really understands flavour. My wife had the wine pairing and thought they were good, certainly they complimented the different courses very well. I had the “juice pairing” and thought they were excellent, also excellently chosen to compliment each course. We will go again for sure. A breath of long awaited fresh air for southern Alberta.

    What an outstanding experience! Tyler provided service that was perfection - fun and personable, attentive and well timed service, and incredibly knowledgeable. Our group did the seven course Hunter, which I highly recommend. The two additional courses in the current menu are absolutely worth it. Some of our group also did the wine pairing, which was perfectly suited to the menu. The vibe of the restaurant itself really captures the feel of from the land to table, from the deep jewel toned colors, to thoughtfully chosen dinnerware. If you're a foodie into elevated dining, Sauvage is a must. I would absolutely revisit next time back I'm Canmore!
