Crystal was amazing .. It was me and my BESTFRIEND BIRTHDAY and she made us feel like we were out eating with family and it was only just us 2.. But she made it special!! Thank you CRYSTAL SO MUCH

First, the food was enjoyable and tasty. Many selections for different price points, and many familiar favorites. Was a bit surprised a table of four had a 20% automatic service charge. Would have been no problem if the service had not been short of desirable. Water regularly unfilled. One hour after being seated we received only our one shareable appetizer and drinks. Never received the eye-catching and included cornbread that all other tables received, even after we asked for it.

This was our first time in Detroit and we wasn’t sure where to eat so we googled local restaurants and read the menu and reviews. SavannahBlue had great reviews and we liked the menu, so we went. What an awesome choice we made! The food was delicious, the place is quaint and beautifully decorated. The service was top notch. Our waitress was Stephanie and she was amazing! We would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are ever in the Detroit area!! My husband had the Lamb Chops and I had the Fish plate. They were both delicious!! A couple next to us had the Shrimp and Grits and the Chicken Plate and they said their meals were delicious also!

I’ve been wanting to visit Savanah Blue for too long and finally made it today! We asked from Detroit Opera House in a drizzle, totally worth it!! Absolutely delicious dinner with enough for leftovers! They provided cornbread muffins with honey that were delicious!! We both got fried chicken that came with collard greens with ham and candied yams better than I’ve ever had at any Thanksgiving!! Friend wanted black eyed peas we shared some of it with her taking that home too!!! We arrived about 5p and first table but, over an hour later the place was packed. This place is special and already look forward to going back to try the next item-unless it’s time for more fried chicken!!!

The food and the service was great. We tried the black eyed pea hummus and it was delicious. I was a bit nervous because I don’t usually venture too far and we’d never heard of hummus with black eye peas (we were use to chickpeas) needless to say we were pleasantly surprised. I then had the chicken, and the cookie skillet for desert all of which were delicious. This wasn’t my first time at Savannah Blue and for sure won’t be my last.

Everything was Amazing!! My family came in from Virginia Beach and we heard a lot about this place and they did not disappoint! The ambiance was amazing, or server was prompt and attentive and also engaging and funny. The food!! OMG the FOOD!! Catfish seasoned to the GAWDS!! The Lamb chops cooked and season to “The GAWDS”!! The drinks were good too! If I could give an extra star I would! 😊
