We strongly encourage you to make your Open Table reservations and we are happy to be able to take care of all of our valuable guests, again. We are Alberta's largest and most beautiful steak house. The Sawmill Prime Rib and Steakhouse stretches over 20,000 square feet with a seating capacity of over 700 dining room, lounge, banquet room, and patio combined.
This location has built its reputation on the Sawmill formula. Serving over half a dozen different cuts and sizes of Alberta beef one cannot go wrong ordering any one style. The Sawmill Prime Rib and Steakhouse has become known for many unique qualities and is open daily at 1130am except Sundays when we open at 3pm.

We did the Easter Turkey Buffet The food was Fabulous. Lots of varieties and everything was cooked properly! Definitely well worth the spend! Definitely will be back!

We missed the buffet at Sawmill during the Pandemic and are so happy they're back! Excellent food quality, good variety and outstanding value. The service was attentive and friendly as well. See you at Thanksgiving!

On Sunday we attended the Brunch at 1pm. Found most of the food dry and somewhat tasteless. The selection while I understand this is a brunch was limited. There was no cold or hot vegetables to be seen and one would wonder why at least mashed potatoes to go along with the roast beef of ham was not available. A few cold meat plates would of been nice to have with maybe some buns. The desert selection was large, however very commercialized. Except for the chocolate fountain which was good. Not sure why the stems from the strawberries were not removed though. The cookies were hard and it was noticed quickly as our grandson who likes cookies took one bite and asked why are they so hard? Overall the service was good but have to rate the visit a 2/5.

The ham, omelettes and desserts were good. The rest of the food was poor quality. The French toast was cold and dry, the hash browns were simply McCain frozen style, the food taste and quality was just very mediocre

Very disappointing Easter brunch. The Caesar salad was virtually wet lettuce. The dressing was watery and had no flavour at all. The eggs on the Bennies were overdone - the yolks were hardboiled. The Hollandaise was watery and had no flavour. The bacon and potatoes were tasty and the French toast was decent. They put out a little bowl of whipped cream (for the waffles) and it was gone in a flash and I had to tell the staff because they weren’t monitoring what was out or running low. The serving tongs and ladles were disgusting. I think staff should have been on the ready to keep replacing them as they were bound to get sticky in no time. The desserts were nothing special at all. They were no better than grocery store quality. The water they gave my mom for her tea was lukewarm. Our server said it was the best they could do and it was not possible to get any hot water. Overall it just was not a pleasant experience.

Met a friend for Sunday brunch service was very good, thanks Navi. Nice variety of food, breakfast items included waffles, french toast, fruit compote, whip cream, scrambled eggs, eggs benedict, sausage, maple smoked bacon and hash browns. Lunch items included lean beef carved from roast, au jus, curried chicken, rice, a choice of salads not to mention all items. There was a good fruit selection with a chocolate fountain and variety of other dessert items. A great price for seniors 60+ $24.95 regular price $34.95 and tasty.
