Nice sit down place, very welcoming of small and large groups. They have a condensed menu for event nights which seems to only have their more expensive dishes on it. Our server was highly knowledgeable of the dishes and the kitchen was willing to try and work with our groups dietary restrictions. The spicy ginger beef skewers were delicious, some other dishes not so much.

Service and food were great. The only negative was that our table was up against the server station, literally. We did ask the hostess if we could move to another table but she said no and that it would be the same view at another table. I think she thought we were referring to the view of the construction outside, which we could of cared less about. Regardless it was a great evening and I would come back again.
One more thing to add is the hostess should mention where the washrooms are located when seating because there was more than a few people looking for them and they are located outside of the restaurant by the Casino entrance.

The dinner for two was incredible!! Steak and sea food were cooked perfectly as was the grilled asparagus. The portion size was just right. We ordered raw oysters as an appetizer which were so delicious. The bannock and ice cream with Saskatoon berries was the perfect ending to the meal. Overall, an exceptional meal.

We attended SC on our wedding anniversary prior to a show (6 pm seating). I thoroughly enjoyed our server who was friendly, knowledgeable and with perfect timing! We had the bannock and crab dip as an appetizer, the dinner for two which includes lobster tail, shrimp, chicken and tenderloin and the chef’s dessert which was bannock balls with ice cream. All of it was excellent, the tenderloin was done to perfection, medium rare and was melt in your mouth. The bannock balls for dessert were a pleasant surprise – yum. We did enjoy our bottle of wine and the wine list was fairly good but I was hoping to see something from Nk’Mip Cellars in Osoyoos. My compliments to the chef and staff, we’ll be back with friends!

Our server Ben was amazing. We had the pleasure of having him as our server for dinner as well as later on in the evening after the show had ended. He was extremely personable & knowledgeable regarding the menu. The food was flavorful & presentation was on point. During dinner the ambiance was quiet & relaxing, later in the evening there was an energetic & fun vibe. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Our reservation was ready on time and greeted with smiles. The ambiance was cozy, can be casual or dressy. The service was top notch I'm sorry I forget our servers name, but he was pleasant, fast and always had a smile. The meal was ok, there was 6 of us. The appetizers were pretty good, the calamari though didn't have any jalapenos as stated :( , beat salad, shrimp & Wagyu BeefCarpaccio was really good. Our Entrees were either a little to bland or more spicy than expected. But overall we had a nice experience.

It was so loud that we had to yell at each other. This is not a bar but a restaurant. Perhaps another area of the restaurant would have been quieter but the back part was just awful. I couldn't wait to get out of there.

Went to this when the restaurant was called Sage. Now its very much the same but a big difference with the size of menu. I found the short menu selection a little bit of a take back, but what was on the menu was delicious, very good service. I recommend it. I dine out at most of the restaurants in Edmonton and area.. thumbs up..!!!

We had the bbq combo, brisket, ribs and chicken. Came with a baked bean medley (which needed to cook longer as the beans were still hard). The meat was tasty but could have used a dipping sauce. Shrimp tempura was delicious. Highly recommend.

Nice place. The service was fast and our server was very nice and efficient. We had the burger and the meatloaf. Both were tasty. The meatloaf came with lots of fresh green beans. The burger was very spicy, which made it great but you would have to like spicy food to enjoy it. The tables were fair apart so it was easy to talk but you have to realize you are still in a casino.

The service is slow and they forget about you often.

2/3 dishes had to be returned to the kitchen due to being over cooked and dry.

They did comp our meals that were returned and apologized which was great. However this has happened each time I have dined here. I will not be returning

SC never seems to disappoint. We have tried numerous items on the menu and have enjoyed them all. The service (by Uday this time) is always exceptional. Food comes out hot and in a timely manner. We will continue to support Chef Shane and his team by making SC a regular dining choice.

We where attending a concert at the River Cree and always enjoyed Sage and didn’t realize it was made over. It has been several months since we had been. The new restaurant looks great but the food was a big disappointment. We had the BBQ sampler burger and the seafood stew and all of it was a bit disappointing. The Brisket was way overdone and dry, ribs where tough and the chicken was tender and juicy but very strong smoke flavour. The seafood stew was really a soup and the burger that was supposed to be great was underwhelming. Service was ok but also expectedly to the concert rush the restaurant filled up quick. Too bad because with the limited menu items and past experience with Sage it was not what o would have expected.

Had fried chicken $16 seemed like a great price with hickory sticks and coleslaw. Chicken was 2 pieces a drumstick and thigh. The ginger coleslaw very good but you get 1 tablespoon. The hickory sticks very good but you get 2 tablespoons. The chicken came very hot and had great taste except too salty so it hid the better taste of the chicken and coating.

usually have dinner at RC before a concert, this was the first time that we were totally disappointed.
server was friendly and apologized for the wait, but service was terrible. had to wait a long time before we were served and a longer time for our drinks to come. food was good but COLD,, decided not to send the food back as we so frustrated, you should know when it is a concert night and the kitchen and staff should be prepared,, very disappointed

Food was excellent. Second time here since the name change from Sage. Several different price points so there are some excellent options for literally 10$. Service has always been excellent as well. The Salomon was really nice. And the short rib decadent!! Drinks are a little pricey but probably not more than anywhere else now a days

Chef Shane Chartrand is a down to earth, friendly business owner. The food creations he comes up with are absolutely amazing; so delicious! The atmosphere is friendly, fun and the staff is extremely attentive. We had a great visit with Chef and our server, Karen, was wonderful! It is a hidden gem in Edmonton! If you like to try new things, this is a place you MUST visit.
