Scaddabush Italian Kitchen & Bar - Front St
Our story is simple. Everything we can make fresh daily, we do. Including our hand-stretched mozzarella (made-to-order every day between 5pm & 11pm), our pasta, our signature 1/2 lb meatballs, our dough, bread and desserts.

Very good it was busy and the table felt small and pushed into a corner , waitress was excellent and food was really good
Amazing restaurant, the food was great for its value and will for sure be coming back
Food is just ok. Had the zucchini and calamari fritti which were good. I had the Chicken and Shrimp main. Good portion of shrimp but lacking in chicken. The pasta was stuck together. Friend had the chicken parmigiana and his pasta was a congealed mess. Do better.
We were celebrating my girlfriend's birthday. Service was excellent, food was pretty good.
The food was really good but the dessert I was not impressed I love Tiramisu so when I saw on the menu I had to have it but I was really disappointed with the taste it did not have enough Biscotti ... it was more like a cream dessert than a tiramisu ... Either than that it was my first time and it won’t be the last :)
Amazing time , very attentive and helpful, food advice and service outstanding. Highly recommended and will definitely be returning!
The main course had been sitting for a while as our food arrived and it was warm, not hot. Scaddabush is consistently a ‘meh’ experience.
We ended up leaving as they put us at a cramped bar table instead of the dining room, even though we had a reservation. No server came by either.
Although we had a confirmed reservation we were asked to sit in a crammed location as the adjacent table was over capacity and chairs were pushed up against ours. When we asked for another location the restaurant said they could only accommodate us at the end of a large party that was due in 30 mins. We asked about other open booths but were told they were for confirmed reservations - so was ours???? We were seated at the end of the large table and the restaurant then allowed the large party to go over the table capacity which crammed us up to an uncomfortable position. I was surprised and very disappointed that no effort was made on their part to then relocate us to one of the many open booths. We rushed our meal to get out and have some space to ourselves. That was my first visit and not a nice experience at all.
Love the pasta ever! 😘
Staff were really friendly, mozzarella was outstanding. Noise level was pretty high. Overall, a great experience.
Always a great experience! The service was excellent and the food was great!
Food was great; server was excellent,
Noisy and not sure how you fix that. Good it was busy. ENJOYED LUNCH.
Food was amazing. Service was great. I will be back
The food was delicious and our server was great! The restaurant was very busy and loud and the front door was flooded when we arrived.
Parents + daughters meet
Great location, food & service! Please open in London Ontario thanks
Great service. Booth table was a bit cramped for 5 plus highchair. Noise level was good, food was great. Nice lunch and would go back!
The food at Scaddabush is always fantastic, and I've found this location's staff goes above and beyond. Our server was Coko and he was so hospitable and friendly.
Just moved to Toronto and this is the first time coming here and I have to say it is the BEST!
We were shown to our table promptly and our server was very professional and kind. Food was good, but both my wife and I were not feeling well about a half hour later. Not sure if it was the food or not as we had completely different menu items. Fresh croutons used on the cesar salad as opposed to the usual toasted stale bread other places serve. Decent variety in beer selection without being overwhelming. Pretty loud atmosphere though. Nothing in the place to absorb some of the sound which made it hard to have conversations at our table despite it not being overly busy (we were seated at around 5 PM). If I were to choose a venue for a date, it wouldn't be here just for that reason. Family dinners or larger gathering is fine however.
The carbonara was about as far as you can get from traditional carbonara. And when the menu says ‘soft egg’ anyone with any knowledge of carbonara expects eggs mixed into the sauce as a thickener or served raw on top.
The same for the bolognese - the sauce was NOT traditional bolognese.
It’s a shame because the pasta would have been really good with simple fresh ingredients.
Our guests also has undercooked pasta.
Our server Charlotte was lovely and helpful.
Food was great, service was terrible.
Great service and wonderful food. Service and food were very fast
I chose the Crusted Snapper ($23.97) and it was not an impressive meal. A big piece of dry fish, with a dry coating that crumbled off in chunks. There were a few potatoes under the tasteless fish and a bunch of slices of steamed zucchini. It was a completely uninspiring bland meal that was overpriced. Every meal I have at Scaddabush, regardless of the location, is a disappointment. I think I've given up on ever having a good meal at Scaddabush.
Food is tired and needs improving. Location is great for going to a game. It would be wonderful if the food was a great as the location.
Loved it! Great food, fast service. Perfect spot before the game. We'll be back again soon.
Great food, fast service and a good vibe
Overall a great restaurant, but wouldn't go on my lunch break
Excellent service. We pre-ordered our meals as we were short on time and they had everything ready for us when we arrived. Even surprised us with a free dessert for the birthday celebration.
Good value and very friendly service, I can make a reservation for any time which is good if we are going to the theatre
Have eaten at the downtown Toronto location a half dozen times over the last few years for business lunches. Pleasant ambience and always packed during peak hours.
Food has been too salty in past, but most recently was not.
Pork Chop is now on the menu, which is great as not many restaurants attempt them these days. Several of my party tried it - large variation in Chop size, though, between plates - so someone will be disappointed. The downside of the Chop was it only comes with a hash of heavily-sweetened fried Brussell Sprouts. No starch side!
Appetizer menu here also limited.
They make their own pasta, and it's fantastic al dente - but the last few times I was there, it was soggy over-cooked.
The service is way too slow. Each time I go this continues to be the issue.
Food was ok. Average but not great.
Visiting Toronto for the night and had a fabulous meal. Decor very pleasant, lights dimmed down, awesome menu. The only reason I gave ambiance 4 stars is that the tables are so close together it was hard for both the patrons and waitstaff to maneuver around. My husband chair kept getting knocked into and his coat dumped on the floor. The waitress did find a hook for the coat so at least that problem was solved!
Great spot to eat. Most times when I visit Toronto, I make a visit. Not just another Molson beer place. They great Italian beers on tap, pasta is fresh and perfect. We watched George make mozzarella balls all night. Very cool.
Excellent meatballs. Everything was fresh and made on premises.
Service was really attentive even though it was a busy Friday evening. Food was good, good size portions and sharing encouraged which was nice. I thought the wine and beer list was a little on the pricey side, eg almost $10 for a pint of draft, but they had a good variety of both to offer. Nice casual vibe and close to where we wanted to be so overall a good experience.
Food was not very good, very disappointing
Such delicious food and incredible service. The house made cheese boards are a must!
