Scaddabush Italian Kitchen & Bar - Front St Ratings and Reviews
Casual venue. Great for a group of friends. We ordered pasta. Would have preferred slightly more sauce.
It was chilly in the restaurant
Family night out
Food was amazing and super quick! We were off to a concert and It was nice not to wait for food!
Nice dinner out with the Family. Great atmosphere and tasty fun food😄
Perfect! I loved!
Sam was great, busy night though, food was very good,
The food was good, not great, as there is room for improvement. I had desired for better service as a couple of times i was on the lookout for our waitress. The atmosphere was great, dim lighting, cozy tables, and occasional food smells (in a good way).
good food but horrible logistics: courses are delivered almost randomly, food is delivered either too slow or too fast, drinks get missing
Good food, friendly and quick service. Would definitely go back!
I make sure to go to Scaddabush a few times whenever I’m in Toronto :) the Zucca Ravioli is the best dish I have ever eaten !! I wish they would open a Scaddabush in Nova Scotia
We've been here several times now, it's a must for us when in this area of Toronto. We've never had a bad meal here. Great customer service. Homemade pasta & cheese is a must try!
Everything was great except that the server was not around to bring us the check. Waited around for 15 minutes.
The food and service were great. The only reason we gave ambience a 3 was that it was way too hot in the restaurant and difficult to enjoy it. Otherwise all was wonderful.
Great food great staff. Will be back soon. If you have not been so worth your time. Excellent restaurant
Booked a table for a “date day” late lunch before the Maple Leafs game. Had great service and even better food. The best part is the atmosphere - not too loud but not quiet, dimmed lights and rustic vibes. Definitely recommend and will be back.
Food was delish and service was great. Give it a try - you'll be happy you did.
The food was very good and came out very quickly, which was great because I had another meeting right after lunch
The food is consistently good. The naked mozzarella is awesome. And service is always good too. I like this as a casual place to get a good bite to eat after work.
Good food service was great
Price was reflective of value
Overall nice experience
Food was fresh, service was great, lighting was very dim but it didn’t bother me, 10/10 recommend
We came here for the fresh mozzarella! It is to die for. Carter was a great server and easy on the eyes ;).
The music was a little too loud and the food came way too quickly considering our party got an appetizer to share. The server (Sean) also failed to give us cutlery, napkins, ask us for our drink orders or refill our drinks. While the restaurant was busy we could see him wandering around aimlessly and in the end we had to ask another server to help us. That said the food and atmosphere were great!
Anna and Shaun helped us out and they were both great. It was busy because there was a conference in town (we were part of the conference). The servers were pulled in a number of directions so service was a little slower than I would expect under normal circumstances but the quality did not suffer.
Excellent food and service at a great price. An absolute pleasure. Loved it.
the food was fantastic; a little noisy but overall a great time was had and i'd definately go back!
Very good value and very good location close to Union Station. Offers smaller portions for cheaper prices, which was surprisingly hard to find when searching for an Italian restaurant.
Awesome homemade pastas and mozzarella balls - quick service, brought our two year old child with us and she was well welcomed by all the staff - also very nice washrooms!
We enjoyed a lovely time! The staff were very accommodating as we were dropping in for a quick dinner before a basketball game. The food was great, however, the prices are a bit more than other places around the city.
Everything was great about our Scaddabush experience. The food was excellent, choices particularly strong, and the service was friendly, professional and efficient.
Our second time at the restaurant for dinner before a show. The first time was fantastic. The second time the restaurant was much busier and no one came to our table to talk to us for 15 minutes. We had to ask another server if he could get ours to come to our table. The food is good so we will give them another chance on the service side.
Food was average at best. Fish did not seem fresh. Perhaps overlooked. Servers were friendly but not attentive.
Unfortunately I cannot remember our servers name but she was fantastic! Fast but very thorough service! The food was amazing. It was my first time and will definitely not be my last!
I’m usually a fan of Scaddabush, but unfortunately I won’t be returning to this location any time soon.
Everything just seemed dirty. First we had to ask for a clean water glass (I know this happens), but then the flat water came out cloudy and undrinkable. Then we had to get a clean fork (one of the two had chunks of food dried on).
We both had vodka sodas and when we went to place a like on a side plate, we noticed all 4 on the table were dirty. Fortunately we didn’t have to use them for food.
To top it off, our vodka sodas unfortunately had an odd cucumber taste, but it was a while before the server came by (to be fair the place was packed) and we decided to just drink since water wasn’t drinkable.
Food was tasty as usual, but everything being dirty really put us off.
Overall experience was nice, however, my request made during reservation to bring a birthday dessert after our meal was forgotten, so a birthday girl didn’t get her cake.
The temperature in the room was most uncomfortable. It was extremely hot. We asked our server to open windows for air. Made the dinner very rushed as we wanted to get out of that environment.
The food was very good as always. My only comment is that the portion sizes are very (almost too) generous. If we were not going to the hockey game, we would certainly have taken the remainder home. Our server, Mel, was very good.....friendly and professional.
Awesome place to eat. We always make a point in coming here when in downtown Toronto. Have eaten here several times now & have never had a bad meal. Our latest meal, we had a dessert we didn't really care for. They gave it to us complimentary (without even being asked) plus the Manager came over & gave us a coupon for a free dessert on our next visit. Customer service is great. No complaints whatsoever!
Food was great, extensive menu. Staff were excellent. A bit pricey and loud.
