    Great service, great food. Good for the lunch with friends. It is quite an open area and a large restaurant. Close by the Roy Thompson Hall and many other attractions in Downtown Toronto.

    My Caesar salad seemed to have been made with all the insides of the stalk rather than the outer greens. Terribly disappointed with the meal that cost $28 after taxes. It was not a good meal. The server never came back to check on us and we had to wave him/others down

    Let's be clear. This is not an Italian restaurant. Every meal contains a little of everything and nothing works well together. The "Chefs" do not have any notion of culinary balance. Culinary balance involves creating dishes that are flavorful, visually appealing, and pleasing to the palate. This can involve using fresh, high-quality ingredients, incorporating a variety of textures and flavors, and balancing the use of spices and seasonings. The owners do, however, know how to charge the maximum price for poor food. You will pay well and eat poorly.

    It’s was very busy and I can understand why drinks and food wasn’t so good. But maybe restaurants should be more prepared for the busy season to manage and deliver on quality.

    I’ve been to this location several times and quite like it. Though the wait time just to get a drink and trying to find my waitress to pay my bill was a little frustrating. Good portion sizes, and the food is delicious.

    I have eaten at Scaddabush many times. This was my 1st meal at this location. I was given a table in a quiet section as requested. Our server was very good. The food was disappointing. The brochetta was soggy, the pasta needed more sauce and the spinach avocado dip was like green mud. The food at the Etobicoke location was so much better prepared. I will not recommend this location

    It was my niece’s pre theatre choice. The food was lovely but the server, J, was so nice, professional and accommodating and truly made the experience for the two of us. He made my niece comfy waiting for me and generally managed everything perfectly. Thanks.

    Enjoyed the meal and the server Justin was very good. Food came very quickly and was very tasty. Good location. Another Scaddabush just opened close to my home in Whitby which I will definitely try as well.

    I've been to Scaddabush many times, I'm very fond of the fresh mozzarella. However, this time, we ordered a butternut squash pasta and it was too dry; the staff did give us a free desert. This was the only time that I've had an issue with the restaurant.

    Had my reservation for 6:15pm. Took waitress forever to take our order after we were seated. Was almost 30 mins after. Food came out almost 25 mins after order placed. I ordered the tomat fennel soup as an appetizer. It was cold. The waitress never came around to ask me how it was or if I wanted pepper or cheese on top. A gentleman from the kitchen delivered my spaghetti and meatballs, which was also cold. We ran out of water at the table. Our waitress was no where to be found. I did not eat my spaghetti, because of the state it was in. My friend ordered a margarita pizza and there was 2 mozzarella balls on it. I had to hunt our waitress down for the bill, as we had a concert to go to. Highly disappointed with quality of food and service. I literally have thrown my money out the door and will choose to go elsewhere for Italian next time we go out.

    We have eaten at other Scaddabush venues a number of times but this was our first visit to Front Street. It was certainly as wonderful as the others. I highly recommend this for the food and the ambience.

    Our waiter, Kieran, was amazing, and incredibly personable. We arrived early, but we were not rushed at all. The food was excellent. We had mozzarella and calamari to start. Our mains were a pasta dish and the truffle steak. It was delicious. Thank you.

    We tried Scaddabush, and arrived early for our reservation - so we checked in, and got a drink at the bar. Our reservation time came and went, and I had to go back and see how close we were, since it was no longer busy (late reservation). They’d forgotten about us, and seated us immediately once I went to the host station. We got the mozzarella. It was fabulous! But then our food took about an hour to come out. Our server came over a few times and apologized - said the kitchen had trouble with one of our dishes. When it finally came, it was ok. Some of the pasta was clumpy, and one dish needed salt. The main course was nothing like the appetizer in terms of quality! By the time we’d finally gotten our bill and left, we’d been there about 3 hours. It was ok, but definitely not worth the time invested.

    We’ve tried many Scaddabush locations and the food is pretty much on par at all of them. It was very busy and things took longer but we are still happy about our restaurant choice.

    We made a reservation and when we arrived, we were placed at a tiny table tucked back by their fire extinguisher etc. There were open tables in nicer spots. My food arrived and I hadn’t received my drink yet. The food was just ok. We shared a pizza and a meatball. Both ends of the oval pizza had nothing on it. It was only the middle that had the cheese sauce and meat. The meatball would have been delicious if it had more sauce on it. Very dry. I was really disappointed as I was looking forward to dining there. We won’t be back.
