   It was our first time at Scaddabush. Pasta dishes while maybe tasty, the pasta was clumped like it was pre cooked, put in portion sizes and warmed up. Flatbread dough tough. Tiffin the waiter was very good. We should probably have sent it back but didn't.

   My friend and I were very satisfied. Our server was very attentive, the Mozzarella Bomb appetizer was very tasty and overall it was a relaxing, enjoyable dining experience.

   It was okay, waiter was nice but did not check in on tables very well. We were half way through our main before he checked. I ordered the steak, medium and it was very rare. Fries were not home cut and there wasn’t any dipping sauce or offer for any. Wife had pasta and chicken parm. Pasta was good and she enjoyed the chicken. Bar service was slow.

    Service was wonderful! Food was absolutely amazing ! We had the bomba mozzarella, pizza and pasta ! Half price wine night on Wednesday to top off the evening ! Highly recommend!

    Loved the atmosphere-ambience of the restaurant. We were staying at a hotel down the street and came across it walking the evening before and the advert sign outside for 1/2 bottle wine Wednesday was what caught my eye! It was quiet when we got seated but by the time we left the restaurant was hopping - despite the snowstorm outside. Started with the Calamari Fritti, which was hot, fresh and delicious. One of the entrees ordered was Lemon Garlic Shrimp Spaghetti. A good portion of shrimp and very flavourful- heavy on the butter/oil however and I ended up tipping the bowl so the oil could drain to one side. The other entree ordered was the Chicken Parmesan. Also hot, fresh and beautifully flavoured. No complaints. We ordered the Zeppole for dessert - Italian donuts. They were only okay - seemed overcooked and I have definitely had better/tastier. Overall a fantastic restaurant and would recommend if staying in downtown TO.

    Half full restaurant yet sat in back third area next to kitchen in a half moon table for 4 although we were 5. Host insists it fits 5, but it’s shoulder to shoulder with no elbow room to eat nor table space to hold all plates. At one point, I had to get up and get my own side plates for shareable foods ordered after our main-meals. Disappointing, as there was plenty of other alternative seating where there were more service staff available to call upon - plus the kitchen noise of utensils falling to the floor, banging of pots and kitchen steam was irritating.

    Very under staffed. Waiter expected to cover a large area. Had reservations in March but wont be back. Noise level too loud as well. Unfortunate because food was good

    This restaurant was conveniently located and affordable, always looked popular and had good reviews. Food was tasty but somewhat salty. The service was fine - we were periodically checked on. However, there was a long wait for the mains. In fact, we were asked whether we’d like the dishes served as ready rather than wait for the lot at once. In the end they arrived together. The decor is inviting and appropriate for the restaurant type. Tables were clean, chairs were not and needed to be brushed off. There were no outstanding dishes.

    Went in for our reservation and thankfully they were able to seat us early, but failed to let us know that their heat was not working until our party had been seated. we ended up having to rush our meal because we were shivering and did not get to enjoy a Birthday dinner or dessert for that matter (which was forgotten as well). I have tried other Scaddabush locations and have had pleasurable experiences, but this was not one of them unfortunately.

    Unfortunately they must not have been expecting so many people and it took FOREVER to get our food. Our waiter tried his best to make things right but the Caesar salad was waaaayyy over dressed and was almost inedible. Thankfully the salmon was perfect and the soup was delicious. My husband had asked if his sauce was just pesto and he was told it was. When he got it there was no pesto whatsoever. My daughter after waiting forever for her pasta had the chicken missing and it took another wait for her to get it. They gave us two free desserts, but it was just not a good experience. I am glad none of us were in a hurry.

    Great service by Peter! Food not the best. My penne was undercooked and we sent it back and it was better but still some undercooked noodles. The mozzarella I thought it would be soft but o found it was a bit on the rubbery side. Would not go back.

    Loved the atmosphere, the server and the food but did not appreciate the attitude of the women at the front desk when you first walk in. No welcome, waited 5 minutes to be acknowledged while they talked about life and then gave attitude like we were bothering them....the first impression of the restaurant was not impressive. For that I will spend my $200 elsewhere next time.
